I’ve found a PHP 8 deprecation bug in helper_api.php in v 6.13.0 – any chance you can fix this as it’s messing up the response to a 3rd party API?
A fatal error occurred at the end point: 8192 – preg_match(): Passing null to parameter #2 ($subject) of type string is deprecated at line 418 of ../wp-content/plugins/js_composer/include/helpers/helpers_api.php
if ( false === @preg_match( $change_fields[‘include_only_regex’], null ) )
There are four occurrences within the file where a regex is compared to null which will all need updating – will changing null to an empty string preserve the functionality of the script?

Good morning. Why did my license expire when it was intended for lifetime use ?
Hello, The plugin license is valid for lifetime. The support tenure which allows accessing support expires after six months and can be renewed if you extend it’s tenure.

All hosting companies are sending out vulnerability with your latest release and you’re telling people not to worry download 6.13.0 but that’s the one they’re talking about. I just received 100+ emails for client’s sites.
Hello, The vulnerability issue is fixed in the latest version which is 6.13.0. If any setup is using an old version, then it needs to be updated to 6.13.0. However, if the hosting provider is sending emails even after 6.13.0 then it is a false trigger from their end. Hello, Please use the latest version of the plugin which is 6.13.0 as it does not have any security issues in it. If you received the plugin with a theme, then you can either contact the theme developer for it’s update or can purchase a direct plugin license from us to update it yourself.

The latest release has a bug with the Custom Color option for the separator widget under WP Bakery. It doesn’t work when adding a custom border color code.

Is it possible to remove the YouTube title from the the video embed? I have tried a filter targeting oEmbed to remove it, but that doesn’t work.
Hello, Unfortunately it is not possible to remove it using video element. However, it might be possible to remove it if the video embed code is added via raw HTML element.

Hi, is there a way to distinguish post created with gutemberg from post created with wpbakery?
Because i have 3000 post written with an old theme and i want to have a margin-left in all text, instead with new theme (salient) which use wpbakery i want to have 2 columns.
How can I distinguish them? Ty
Hello, Unfortunately there is no easy way to distinguish it. It will possibly require some custom code to parse the page and look for classes such as those rendered by row to distinguish the content.

Can YouTube parameters such as loop and show only related videos from same channel (?rel=0) be added to the Video player?
The portrait aspect ratio is great for product videos but they always play random videos from other channels afterwards.

Hello, Unfortunately, the standard video player element does not support such params. However we do have many third party add-ons which can be found under add-ons section of codecanyon which might have such a feature. Please do make sure to re-confirm it with the respective add-on developer before making a purchase.

Hi, Im using your plugin as a part of Porto theme. After last update ( Porto version 6.9.4. , WPBakery 6.13.0 ). After last update it seem that there is a bug. From admin view I see content of all created pages. After I log out or visit page as guest it seems like these pages are empty – they exist but they dont have content. I deleted cache and try to active and deactive plugin but the results is same. When I log back I can see content and I can edit it etc. Could you please let me know how to fix this? Hello, We have not encountered such an issue. First step to debug will be to backup the site and check if any third party code is causing it. You can do it by deactivating rest of the plugins while keeping the page builder active. You can also check the same by switching onto a default theme like twenty twenty three.

Hi there, we use WP Bakery plugin and the site that we built also came with revolution slider, if we renew WP Bakery plugin do we eventually get the updates for Revolution Slider when you release them? I believe that we originally purchased a theme, which came with WP Bakery and Rev Slider, now both are expired and asking to update the licence, just want to understand if Rev solider will be included with future updates, we have WPB Version 6.7.0 and Slider Revolution Version 6.5.5

Hello, our client uses the Headway WordPress theme, which came with WPBakery (version 5.7 is installed currently.)
Since the developers of the Headway theme no longer exist and therefore WPBakery can’t be upgraded to a more recent version from them, we wanted to purchase the current version of WPBakery directly.
If we purchase version 6.13, should we expect any problems upgrading from version 5.7? Will the current WPBakery layouts and settings carry over? How does the upgrade process work from an older version — do we install right on top of the current version?

Hello, You can backup the site and then delete the existing version to install the newer one. There will not be any issue if the older plugin was not modified in it’s core files.

Hello, recently in WP when using vc_carousel I got this error in Firefox browser: “Uncaught TypeError: $.support.transition is undefined” related to lib/vc_carousel/js/vc_carousel.min.js, and the carousel not work as intended or images not show at all. Hi, I want to activate the plugin. I have 2 questions: why do I have to login on your site to activate but I purchased it here? And second: I can’t login on your site. Forgot password does not work.
Hello, 1) The license activation is controlled via our license portal. In this case, you should import the license into your WPBakery account. To do so, you can login into: support.wpbakery.com/login If you are not sure about the login details, then use the reset password option and use the email id associated with your codecanyon account.
Once logged in, navigate to licenses page and click on “import it” option at the bottom of the page. It will then prompt you to login into codecanyon to complete the import. You can then activate the plugin license as per: https://wpbakery.com/video-academy/activate-wpbakery-page-builder-wordpress-license/
2) We had a temporary issue with account setup and password reset and it has been fixed. Kindly try resetting the password again and let us know if there is still any issue.
