Is there a way to prevent the plugin from loading outside of a blog post? I’d like to deregister the plugin outside of is_single but i am unable to find the function that initializes the plugin.

The plugin has an option in the optimization settings to choose where to load resources https://take.ms/slsFM (default is everywhere). So if you have selected to use the plugin only in the posts that will do the rest for you.

No, we don’t have YOURLS integration made. At the time it was previously asked the YOURLS API requires authorization with username and password. That was an insecure method of authorization that requires storing the account username and password. Something that we can’t make in the plugin (due to security risks).
If you are aware they have a change in the API to create short URLs with token key for example, please post a link. Preferred will be a tutorial on short URL generation.
The plugin itself integrates the usage of the default WordPress short URL functions. So if you have a plugin that already generates the short in WordPress (using the default functions) Easy Social Share Buttons for WordPress also can use it.

Yes, you can write your own CSS styles and modify the current templates. But the design you pick requires additional markup as well. That markup may be a problem as right now the structure is strict and empty elements (like required here) are not allowed.
I will forward this as a suggestion to our developers and may be in the feature they will include such template (I can’t confirm when and will it be added). If added it will be as a separate add-on (free).
I hope you add it soon so that I can get this plugin you offer, since it’s more complete….
*( I know I can add all this by myself with basic css & html , but my clients not so much and if anything needs update or changes it all brakes… etc etc )

Hello. I’ve created the post I would like users to share via their Social networks each time they click on social share buttons all over the site. Is it possible and how this could be configured? We integrated ESSB with MyCred – is there any option when we can reward users not for clicking on the social buttons but for real shares? The user may click the button and close the share window the points are assigned anyway. Btw your support is not available for me for some reasons. Though I purchased the item 3 days ago. To receive support you need to post a ticket at https://my.socialsharingplugin.com. There is no registration available – you need to login with your Envato account (you do the purchase) and confirm access to the request. If you don’t do that you won’t get access.
I will give a brief answer to your questions. To receive support login at https://my.socialsharingplugin.com and create a ticket (according to the logs you have not done this yet).
You can make all buttons share a custom URL (no matter where they are located). To do so you need to use the Custom Share function (activate from Activate/Deactivate Functions if you don’t see it in the menu) -> https://take.ms/Pyfar. Be aware that almost all social networks accept only one parameter for sharing – URL. The title, message, and image are left for very few networks that support them (the image is only for Pinterest).
There is no way to track real sharing on social networks. That is why the after-share actions, myCred integration, and other functions related to completed sharing (share booster) fire after the window is closed. Tracking of sharing is not provided as a function by the social networks (because this requires to do advanced user behavior tracking) – you don’t have a solution for this.
The message “The client portal is available for Easy Social Share Buttons for WordPress direct customers only. You need to have at least one valid and active purchase to get access.” will appear if the user does not have valid plugin licenses in the profile. A quick check shows that the username “ghukasyani88” does not have an account in the ticketing system.

You have two accounts created. You are seeing the message when you use the secondary account that does not have any purchases. Please use the account you do the purchase with. You should be using the Envato account “ghukasyani88”.

If you ask about getting a reward for the user if a sharing is made you can refer to the after share actions https://socialsharingplugin.com/after-share-actions-for-share-buttons/?aftershare=follow. Those actions fire after the share dialog is completed. The function offers a custom HTML code (shortcodes supported) and custom javascript code.
Note that it is impossible to track a real sharing process (social networks does not provide this function due to respect users’ privacy). The function will fire after the share dialog is closed (no matter user complete or cancel the sharing).
To confirm, this means that I can pay money to members who share posts on their profiles?

Please read very carefully what is written above. The plugin does not provide you with any functionality for paying users about sharing. And there is no method that we can use to verify the sharing is fully completed or interrupted. The after-share actions run after the share window is closed, no matter the final result.
So yes, you can use those to award users but be aware of the above. And you need to develop your own integration to award users (we provide integration only with the myCred plugin).

The Easy Social Share Buttons for WordPress plugin is adding social share buttons to the content of your website. This makes it possible for any of your visitors to share content on social networks. All added buttons are privacy safe (do not require any social API or authorization from the WordPress backend). They will execute a command to start sharing from a website.
The FS Poster plugin works completely differently. You can use it to post automatically content to the social network profiles authorized in your WordPress backend. It won’t let your visitors share content to their profiles (what actually Easy Social Share Buttons for WordPress does).
There are still networks that do not have a share from a website API. The most popular of that list is Instagram. This simply means that you can use a plugin like FS Poster to share on your authorized accounts. But you can’t add a button that your visitors will use to share content. If soon or later the Instagram API allows sharing from a website, we will add it in the plugin too. That refers to other networks too.
Don’t forget that plugin also has a Custom Social Networks function – you can register any social network from the plugin settings -> https://docs.socialsharingplugin.com/knowledgebase/how-to-add-a-custom-button-in-the-share-network-list-adding-any-social-network-for-sharing/. You can use it to add any custom network.

The plugin will work with any WordPress theme that is following the WordPress recommendations. The plugin also has a wide range of shortcodes that can be used too. If your theme does not allow automatic display, you can always use a shortcode and show it manually.
The “Speed up process of counters update” setting is not 100% compatible with PHP 8. Do you know when it might be compatible with PHP 8? Thanks!

The “Speed up counter update” option uses an external library RollingCurlX (it is not a standard function) to create asynchronous requests for getting sharing values. The package does not have a version compatible with PHP 8. In the latest versions, we programmatically deactivate the option to avoid errors if the client uses PHP 8. The author promises support for PHP 8. As soon as it is available we will also update it in the plugin.

The “essb_cached_image” key is used to store the sharing URL (the one you customize or the featured image URL). This key is essential and you can’t remove it. This key stores the URL of the featured image for optimization purposes. The core WordPress functions can show page load delays of up to 300-400ms if used all the time. Saving the URL in the key ignores that problem.

You can’t add a WhatsApp button for your images. If it was possible it won’t work as you expect. The WhatsApp share command allows the inclusion of text and a link to a website. You can’t link the image or attach it to the message.
The only network that allows image sharing, for now, is Pinterest. That is why we offer the Pinterest Pro function. If another popular network in the feature adds an option for image sharing we will also add it to the plugin.

I would like to get only the link html element (<a></a>) without being nested in an unordered list (<ul><li><a></a></li></ul>). I would do the needed CSS amendments myself.

latest version is faulty and causing woocommerce settings to disappear on the product edit page. I disabled all plugins and one by one activated each one and Social Share Buttons for Wordpress is causing the issue.

Yes, you can have multiple share buttons on the page. On your website, you can do this with a shortcode. What you need to know is that almost all social networks read the share details from the social media tags. As of this, you can’t make the buttons share the quote (unless each quote has a physical page). There are networks like Twitter or mobile messaging apps that will work OK.
