I am very close to buying this plugin, but before I do that I must ask the following question.
One of the features of this plugin is:
“Manual Subscription Renewal using any WooCommerce supported Payment Gateway”
So, does this mean that the seller or the buyer must manually renew the subscription every month?
In other words, is it possible for the seller to renew the subscription every month using the previous payment details?

If you want to auto debit renewal amount from the customer account using the previously submitted payment details, then you have to use any of the below payment methods,
1. Stripe – Credit Card(using WooCommerce Stripe plugin)
2. SUMO Subscriptions – PayPal Reference Transactions(comes inbuilt with the plugin).
3. Standard PayPal
When using any other payment methods, customer will be notified by email with a Pay link which when clicked, they will be redirected to Pay for Order page where they can pay for the renewal.

I tried several subscription plugins and ended up with a notification at checkout : “Sorry, it seems that there are no available payment methods for your state. Please contact us if you require assistance or wish to make alternate arrangements.” I have selected the payment method on woocommerce, from bank transfers to the plugin from the Midtrans payment gateway, but the payment options don’t appear if I activate a subscription.
Can Sumo Subscription guarantee that this doesn’t happen?

Hi I have a few questions before pay this plugin. 1. I want to make a simple product that can be purchased with a 1-month, 3-month and 12-month subscription. When a customer order selects a product with a 1-month subscription, 3 days before the subscription expires a new invoice notification will be sent to extend the subscription period for the next month. Does it work? 2. And if the customer does not pay by the due date, the customer’s subscription status will automatically expire. Does it work?

1. It is not possible to create subscription using simple product as per your requirement. But, by creating a variable product with multiple variations, it can be possible(one variation for 1-month subscription, another variation for 3-month and another one for 12-month subscription). It is possible to send expiry reminder as per your requirement. But, it is not possible to automatically extend the subscription. Customer can Resubscribe from the My Account page after the subscription gets Expired.
2. If customer doesn’t make the renewal payment on time, then subscription can be cancelled automatically.

Renewal invoice can be send only before renewals of the subscription. It is not possible to send before subscription expiry.

We haven’t supported Stripe SEPA for automatic recurring. Only Credit Card payment method from Stripe is supported for automatic recurring.

Automatic recurring using Stripe is only possible using Stripe – Credit Card payment method(using WooCommerce Stripe plugin).
No other plugins are supported for automatic recurring using Stripe. Apple/Google pay is not supported for automatic recurring.

Hi, i installed the plugin, and set in system as Auto payment for subscription payment. But the system suppose to charge the user.
The charge is not happening, and in website it is showing payment overdue. I cant see any transaction charge to the user in the website or the paypal.
