Sure, it is possible. Just enable the Search Field option in the Filter Set and you will be able to search by text in addition to filters in your Filter Set. You have to use the latest plugin version 1.7.8 for that.

Hi Team, do you support filtering of tags in groups? For example I have posts with tags Blue, Green, Black. Can I group them under Colors so that they are more organized? Currently they are all over the place. Thanks!

How did you add the different filters by brand, color, price, size? Are they multiple different filter sets? What you have on the demo is what I want to achieve.

To achieve the same filter as shown in the “Demo,” create a “Filter Set” and add the required “Filters” such as “Product Color,” “Product Size,” “Brand” etc. To add product attributes in “WooCommerce,” you can navigate to “Products” -> “Attributes” -> “Add attribute” or edit and apply them to your products.

Hi, I have problem with obtaining the License Key. Item ID: 31634508, Purchase Date: 2023-05-10 09:08:35 UTC. When I try with “Get your License Key”, appear the next message “There is no Filter Everything PRO plugin among your purchased items”. Somme how license is connected with our firm account hvitltd ( https://www.hvit-bg.com/ ), but I purchased it from my personal account. When I log in with the personal account, there is no license or even chance to be generated. How to proceed? Thanks in advance.

Thank you for purchasing the plugin.
In general you have to click on the “Get your license key” button and log in with Envato account that is related with CodeCanyon purchase code for the plugin.
I’m not sure because we faced such issue at first time, but I can say that the License activation process checks if the current license is related with current Envato user. And if Envato says they are not related, activation process stops. As option you have to try to activate it from your personal account and from your company account. At least one of them should work.

I really like the plugin, it is an added value to our store. We have the same that it is not working on mobile, but still very good on desktop. Question though; we for example have ajax search as well, but we index it every night so that the respons is realtime. This makes ALL the difference. Your plugin is REALLY good, but for 2023 standards to slow with all the big ecommerce platforms spoiling consumers. Is it possible to put on the development roadmap an indexing feature? So that the filter combinations with corresponding products are already indexed instead of queried every time somebody uses the filter.

Sure, thank you for using the plugin and for your advice. Of course we will continue to make the plugin better and faster and if it will increase performance, we will add indexing also.
Besides these I have to say that the plugin contains own internal cache and code optimizations to make its work as fast as possible. As well as its code is compatible with caching plugins that work both according to the scheme of caching pages by their URLs and caching the results of requests to a database.

Hi The filter is not working on Mobile. It is only showing a Black overlay when i click on the filter button. Already enabled and disabled Enable compatibility mode

Usually the reason is that you placed Filters widget in the container that is hidden on mobile devices. Please, check this moment and try to make the container visible or place Filters in another container.

I disabled in Chrome CSS rules that make your sidebar hidden and Filters widget appeared. You have either to change your CSS and disable hiding for sidebar on mobile devices or to use another container for Filters widget. I think the first way is easier to achieve.

Is there a demo which demonstrates how to use a filter on static pages where custom queries are used? For instance i have this shortcode in my theme: https://creativethemes.com/blocksy/docs/developers-general-developers/blocksy-posts-shortcode/ I can place a filter next to it and the filter correctly shows some data for filtering. but when i try to apply one filter, the posts do not update.

It is popular issue and usually possible reason are next:
- Wrong WP_Query selected in the “And what to filter?” field of the Filter Set. Please try to experiment with different WP_Queries in the dropdown.
- Cache issue (WP_Query is cached). You have to check and maybe disable your cache plugins or modules in your hosting provider dashboard.
- AJAX enabled but wrong value for CSS id or class of the Posts Container specified. Please, disable the AJAX feature, until you will ensure that filtering works in general.
Does this filter works with WordPress posts or portfolio.. we want to show the sidebar filter 4-5 section..

Hi, i have been trying to activate my Filter Everything Pro on my 2 websites, i have www.kemi.is and www.poulsen.is and i have 2 activation keys but i cannot for the life of me activate it on www.poulsen.is with the key since februar 2023, if this does not work i would like to get a refund as i need to be able to upgrade this as i should be able to do.

In general the plugin does not provide such feature as it is not the filtering task at all. But you always can just hide Filters widget via CSS on some category page. Because every WordPress site page contains unique CSS classes in the HTML or BODY tag and also Filters widget has own unique CSS classes.
Although it is not provided under CodeCanyon item support policy, but If you will provide me with link to the page, where you want to hide filters, I can give you CSS example that solves the task. It requires less than 1 minute to write it.

Many thanks for your answer. In fact, I could twinker it by adding a product category filter and then including only the filter item, I need to filter by default. Then, I set the type to ‘radio button’, which takes the first (and only) entry as the default.
Having done that, I set the display attribute of the css class wpc-filter-product_cat to none.

Unfortunately does not work. There is no default value set on radio buttons.
If you want to achieve this, you must name the product category filter i.e. ‘category’ and then hook to the correct php filter like:
add_filter( ‘wpc_filter_term_url’,’wpc_set_category_default’,1,1 ); function wpc_set_category_default($url) { if (!str_contains($url,’category’)) $url.= ‘&category=xyz’; return $url; }
where xyz is the name of your category term, you want to have filtered by default.
Also initially, you must set your url in the menu to the url+filter, i.e. if the url was ‘shop’, you have to adjust it to ‘shop/category-xyz’.

In 99% cases the reason is in data format that entity selected for filter uses. We can check this if you will provide us with credentials to your /wp-admin in accordance with this document and also describe the steps of how to reproduce the error.

Thank you for the credentials and for your patience.
We checked your site and realized that it is plugin bug related with that fact, that you use two Filter Sets with same filters for the same page. And when you set terms sorting option for the Manufacturer it takes this option value not from the filter you set, but from the Manufacturer filter in another Filter Set.
We have already added this bug to our tracker and it will be fixed in future plugin updates. As quick solution – try please to set the same sorting value for both Manufacturer filters and it will work.

I’m not sure what happened on your site because there are infinite list of reasons why it could happened in such case. But when you update your plugins it is highly recommended to make a DB backup before that. The backup can be easily created for example with Updraft plus backup plugin.
I can only say that when you delete plugins like Filter Everything from your site, you have to being warned that all plugin’s data and settings will be erased. And if you confirmed the deleting this could be the reason, why filters disappeared from sidebar.
