Hello, I already have your bookly pro, since my customers who book on the site with bookly do not want to enter their first and last name, phone number and email address every time, is it possible to enter before the booking form the possibility of registering and/or logging in so whenever you go on the link you don’t always have to enter all the data? Is this the plugin that allows this? Because from the demo it seems to me that it only shows the user profile with more information fields but not that it can log in. Help me with this or if there is another plugin of yours that allows it. Thank you very much.

Hi there.

Thanks for your message.

When a customer books an appointment with Bookly, they automatically become a Bookly Customer. If you have the ‘Create WordPress user account for customers’ option enabled in the “Bookly > Settings > Customers” section, Bookly will also create WordPress user accounts for these new customers. The role you select in the “Bookly > Settings > Customers > New user account role” section will be assigned to these newly created WordPress user accounts. If the customer is already logged in, the new customer will be associated with their existing user account.

With online client booking access: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/212455529-Online-Access-to-Bookings-for-Clients, your customers can conveniently view their past and upcoming bookings directly on your website. They also have the option to cancel appointments if needed.

If you’re looking for even more customer management features, consider the Bookly Customer Cabinet Add-on https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/360005099314-Customer-Cabinet-Add-on. This add-on allows customers to access, manage, and delete their details and appointment history in a user account. They can view their appointments, including date, time, employee, status, price, and more. Plus, they have the ability to reschedule or cancel bookings. This not only enhances customer convenience but also ensures compliance with GDPR requirements as customers can control their personal information and delete their profiles.

To get a better understanding of how the Customer Cabinet Add-on works and determine if it fits your business needs, take a look at the demo here: https://www.booking-wp-plugin.com/demo/customer-cabinet/. This way, you can make an informed decision before making a purchase.

If you want the returning customers to have their personal information fields filled in at the Details step with the data previously saved in cookies, you can enable this setting in Bookly > Settings > Customers > Remember personal information in cookies.

If I am off-base, you need additional help or have additional questions/clarifications about this, please email us at support@bookly.net so we can look into this matter for you.

Many thanks,
Richel

The page cannot be saved anymore, and a lot on errors appears in console, when I inspect the page. Server responds with 403 forbidden. The user I`m connected with is administrator, and it`s allowed(set permissions) to make changes to bookly. Please help. In frontend – no error

Hi, I want to know the difference between bookly plugin without adding this add on and with the add on. I read in plug in page that costumers can log in with their credentials and cancel appointments which is what I need then to be able to do, so what are the extra things in the add on that the plug in doesn’t offer.

Hi there.

Thanks for reaching out.

If you’re looking for a way to let your customers access, manage, and delete their details and appointments, you might want to consider the Bookly Customer Cabinet Add-on. You can find more information about it here: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/360005099314-Customer-Cabinet-Add-on. With this add-on, your customers can have their own user accounts, where they can check out their appointment history. They’ll see all the nitty-gritty details of each appointment, like the date, time, employee, status, price, and more. The cool part is they can even reschedule or cancel their bookings. This helps you stay compliant with GDPR requirements since it gives your customers control over their personal information, and they can even delete their customer profile if they want to.

However, as soon as the customer books an appointment, he/she becomes a Bookly Customer. And if the ‘Create WordPress user account for customers’ in the “Bookly > Settings > Customers” section is Enabled, Bookly will be creating WordPress user accounts for all new customers. The role you select in the “Bookly > Settings > Customers > New user account role” section will be assigned to newly created WordPress user accounts for customers. If the user is logged in then the new customer will be associated with the existing user account.

If the ‘Remember personal information in cookies’ feature is enabled in the “Bookly > Settings > Customers” section, then returning customers will have their personal information fields filled in at the Details step with the data previously saved in cookies.

And with online client booking access: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/212455529-Online-Access-to-Bookings-for-Clients, your customers can view their past and upcoming bookings right on your site, and (optional) can cancel them right then and there.

Another way for your clients to cancel their appointment is by adding the cancellation shortcode in the notifications. There are several types of triggered and scheduled notifications that can be done via Bookly to keep clients and staff in the loop of appointment status updates and remind them of upcoming events. Please check these articles for more information and instructions.

The default configuration of Bookly Pro, as listed at https://bit.ly/33w8172 includes the following:
- Fully-customizable booking form that can be used on any device: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/212800185-Publish-Booking-Form
- Filterable, sortable, and searchable booking list that you can print or export to CSV: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/212973145-Keep-Track-and-Edit-Appointments
- Unlimited number of Staff Members with individual working schedules, prices, and the ability to manage their profiles and online booking calendar: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/212177569
- Unlimited number of Services which you can group into categories and set unique colors for easier viewing in Bookly Calendar: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/212176289-Services
- Importable and exportable customer base with unlimited clients list which displays payments stats and internal notes about the client: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/212978685-Customer-List
- Various templates for customizable Email and SMS notifications: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/212997905-Set-Up-Emails
- Two types of synchronization modes (One-way and Two-way front-end only) between Bookly Calendar and Google Calendar: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/203572552-Google-Calendar-Sync
- Built-in analytics with booking statistics: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002160553-Analyze-your-business-statistics-Bookly-Analytics-
- Offline payment (cash on arrival)
- WooCommerce compatibility: https://bit.ly/3Jvdz5P - Multi-language support – 12 languages included: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/203600092-Translate-Booking-Form-via-WPML - Six months of 24/7 online customer support (from the date of purchase): https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/4898431917714-Customer-Support - Integration with Zoom, Google Meet, and Jitsi Meet: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/360013355499-Online-Meetings-Zoom-

You’ll find the list of the various Bookly add-ons here: https://www.booking-wp-plugin.com/add-ons/ which you can purchase in addition to the default Bookly PRO for more advanced functionality.

I just wanted to clarify how Bookly works with scheduling. It’s all set up on a weekly basis, so when you create schedules for your staff members, those schedules remain consistent week after week. The time slots available in the booking form are based on these schedules, and how the hours are divided and displayed in the form depends on the time slot length you’ve chosen.

Each staff member has their own unique schedule. When a customer books a specific time slot for a service with a staff member, that staff member becomes unavailable for that time slot for any other services. For example, if Superstar is booked for service Awesome on Tuesday at 10 am, she won’t be available for any other services at that time. Likewise, other customers won’t be able to book service Awesome at that specific time, unless another staff member is assigned to provide that service.

The add-ons https://www.booking-wp-plugin.com/add-ons/, such as Bookly Customer Cabinet Add-on, are designed to provide extra flexibility and features to Bookly Pro. To use these add-ons, you’ll need to have Bookly Pro installed and activated, as they complement the main Bookly Pro plugin. When you install them, your booking form will look just like the demo.

Before making a purchase, we recommend checking out our demo: https://www.booking-wp-plugin.com/demo/customer-cabinet/

Or try the sandbox on a live website to get a better understanding of how Bookly Pro and its add-ons work together. You can access the sandbox mode by going to this link: https://www.booking-wp-plugin.com/create-your-free-sandbox/, entering your email address, clicking on the “Configure” button, and following the steps you’ll receive in your email.

If I am off-base, you need additional help or have additional questions/clarifications about this, please email us at sales@bookly.info and mention Ticket #285764 so we can look into this matter for you.

Many thanks,
Richel

Hi, I want to show appointment id (number?) on booking list.

Hello,

Just had a question about Bookly customer cabinet. Are we at all able to customize this message that is displayed when a user isn’t a bookly customer? Message: “Oops! It seems like you are trying to log in with a user that is not associated with an existing customer or staff member. Please double-check your credentials and ensure that you are using the correct login information.”

The message is found in permission.php which is in the bookly-addon-customer-cabinet/frontend/modules/customer_cabinet/templates folder. Is there any way I can put a copy of this template in the child theme so I don’t have to keep changing the message every time the plugin updates?

Thanks for your help! -Gerrit Mulder, Front-end Web Dev.

Hello,

Thank you for your message.

These are 2 different lines:

“Oops!” and “It seems like you are trying to log in with a user that is not associated with an existing customer or staff member”.

We don’t have the ability to change them within the interface, but they can be modified using any translation plugin, for example, Loco Translate

https://wordpress.org/plugins/loco-translate/

Bookly Appointments default message is rude and needs fixing.

“You don’t have permissions to view this content.” is not a nice or helpful message for any user.

This would be a lot nicer and better:

“You don’t have any appointments booked, yet.”

`/wp-content/plugins/bookly-addon-customer-cabinet/frontend/modules/customer_cabinet/templates/permission.php`

Thank Yulia, happy to help :)

Here’s the code that needs patching. We have fixed ours locally, but your updates keep overwriting it:

`/app/data/public/wp-content/plugins/bookly-addon-customer-cabinet/frontend/modules/customer_cabinet/templates/permission.php`

``` <?php defined( ‘ABSPATH’ ) || exit; // Exit if accessed directly ?> <?php if ( is_user_logged_in() ) : ?> <?php esc_html_e( ‘You don\’t have any appointments booked, yet.’, ‘bookly’ ) ?> <?php else : ?> <?php wp_login_form() ?> <?php endif ?> ```
Hello,
Thank you for the details! You can use third party tools like LocoTranslate to update this text and not lose this change, as updates will remove all changes to the code.
Thanks!
Hii, i just have a quick question. When the customer goes to the login page, the form is duplicate. It happens because i also have the packages add on.
So my shortcode is ” bookly-customer-cabinet tabs =”appointments, profile “appointments=”filters,date, category, service, staff, price, status,cancel,reason,reschedule” profile=”name,email,phone,birthday,address,wp_password,delete”
If i delete the [bookly-packages-list] the loging form is ok. But, how can i have this two options without duplicating the login form?
Thanks
Hello,
Thank you for your message.
This is expected behavior and these are two different forms. I advise to check third party plugins and hide both forms under one login form.
Thanks!
How do we automatically create a customer for every WordPress user who signs up with WordPress and not with the bookly appointment form?
Hello,
Thank you for your message.
Currently, this is not supported. The bookly customers are automatically created after they make the first booking via the front-end booking form – the WP account is created and the bookly customer is also created. Later, during the next booking session, the customer can use the Login button to log in.
