Hello guys, great plugin. But i have an issue, i made a filter to filter all “on sale” products in my shop, but it shows the regular price one also. I’m using woodmart theme.
Hello denyed21
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
Please, send me link to the page with this issue and I will check it. Optionally you can send it via PM.
Thank you. Regards.
Hello! Great plugin with awesome functionality. Keep up the good work. Here is my question. Is it possible to have the same filter that shows in the Shop page also show in the page of every single product?
Hello ludmilarsov
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
I already added this option in the plugin and it will be available in the next update. But I will make the new plugin version release in some time. I can send you link to the intermediate plugin version that already contains this feature. Please, send me message in PM and I will provide you with link.
Thank you. Regards.
I am having an issue trying to use the fe_posts_found shortcode. I’m getting inconsistent behaviour.
This is the shortcode I am using: [fe_posts_found sid=”647”]
The problem is I either see the posts found twice, or not at all, or once in desired place but with the wrong count number…
If in the main fe_widget I set show_count=”yes”, then sometimes I will see the count twice, once above the filters and once where I placed the count shortcode. The count above is always correct, the count below where I placed the shortcode is often wrong and tends to get ‘stuck’ on a number. Other times I will only see the count once above the widget and it won’t display below at all.
If I set show_count=”no”, then I will also usually see the count twice – it behaves exactly the same as show_count=”yes”.
If I remove the show_count argument from the fe_widget shortcode, then I don’t see the count at all – not even where the show_count shortcode is placed.
Hello spiritlevel
If you use AJAX, please make sure that you included [fe_posts_found] in the container specified in “CSS id or class of the Posts Container”.
In general to check it carefully I have to ask you to provide me link to the page with example of this problem. In such case I can say why it may not work correclty and where could be configuration mistake. Optionally you can provide this link via PM.
Tnank you. Regards.
Hi Stepasyuk
Thanks – you were correct – the problem was that [fe_posts_found] was not in the container specified in “CSS id or class of the Posts Container”. You might want to mention that it needs to be placed there in the Shortcodes section of the documentation.
Two more question please:
1. How do I get posts found to show the full number of items on page load, before filters have been set?
2. How do I set a filter checkbox item to be automatically checked on page load?
Many thanks,
Hi spiritlevel
Thank you for your suggestion, I’ve already added this notice to documentation.
1. I’m not sure I understood your question clear. In general the shortcode [fe_posts_found] allows you to display posts found number after the ‘template_redirect’ WordPress hook was fired. And also if you want to get this count in PHP code you can use function flrt_posts_found_quantity( $setid );
2. To achieve some pre-selected filter you have to open page with URL that contains appropriate filter section. For example pre-selected On sale filter here – https://demo.filtereverything.pro/example/by-sale/onsale-yes/
Regards.
Thanks.
Re. 1: I mean when page first loads I want to show the number of all posts. Lets say there are 10 posts in total. For simplicity, lets say there is a ‘Colour” filter and 5 posts are in red category and 5 posts in blue.
When page first loads it will show all 10 posts, both red and blue – but posts found shortcode area will not display anything at all, it will be empty. Now when I filter by colour red, the 5 red posts will show and posts found will show as 5.
What I want is for Posts found to show as 10 when page first loads, before any filter colour has been selected.
A, ok. I understood what you mean.
Well, the[fe_posts_found] shortcode works only when a filter si selected. If there are no filters selected it measn nothing found (nothing is filtered) and that’s why the shortcode displays nothing. But you can write your custom code that displays count of posts that are on the page, when no one filter selected. Unfortunately I can’t provide you with such code because it is something out from the CodeCanyon item support scope, but I can only say that you can detect if a filter is selected or no with function flrt_is_filter_request(). Example:
<?php
if( flrt_is_filter_request() ){
echo do_shortcode(‘[fe_posts_found]’);
} else {
// to display whole posts count
}
?>
I hope this will be helpful for you.
Regards.
Hi, Can we add multiple pages for filter show? https://prnt.sc/nFJoErZfroOV
Hi bull_
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
This is possible for archive pages like category, tag, taxonomy, date, author pages etc.
This page is singular and above all, such pages are designed to display a single post, not an archive. Sometimes people display post loops on their singular pages, but usually one post loop per one singular page. But very rarely the same post loop are on some amount of singular pages. That’s why Filter Everything PRO has no option to display the same Filter Set on a list of singular pages.
In fact such feature was provided in first plugin versions, but many customers didn’t understand that the feature expected the same WP_Query on such singular pages and it was causing a lot of confusion and eventually I removed the feature.
So for the moment have to create one Filter Set per one singular page. If you have a lot of such pages you may consider to customize plugin’s code and I can give you or your developer advice where you should modify the code.
Oh ok i see. If you have the functionallity, could you send the code for it if its possible? That would be 10 times easier since we have too many categories.
Hello bull_
I’m sorry, it looks like I didn’t understand you right at first time. If you want to add Filter Set on all your Category pages (not single post pages), you can select there option “Any Category page” and this Filter Set will be applied on every Category page by default.
But if you want to add it on all singular pages (like Post, Product or Page) this feature will be available in the next plugin version. But also I have intermediary version that already support this and if you need it I can send you link to this version if you will send me message in PM.
Please, let me know. Thank you. Regards.
Hey, i think i was not clear enough. Say i hav 5 categories where i want the same filtes on. Instead of making a duplicate of the same filter set 5 times, is it possible that i can just “checkmark” the 5 categories in one single filter set?
Hello bull_
Thanks for the clarification. Unfortunatley there is no such option yet, but you can use a trick – to direct Filter Set to all you Categories and to display FIlters widget only on that desired 5 Category pages. On all other categories you may hide it or even to display another Filter widget.
This can be achieved for example with plugin Widget Logic and with two [fe_widget] shortcodes where you can specify Filter Set ID and inserted this shortcodes in default WordPress Text/HTML widget.
Hello! Thank you for the great plugin. I’m having a problem with the cache. Before installing the plugin, the site was not being cached. After installing it, the cache is turned on and it seems to last for quite a long time. Apparently, the plugin has some kind of internal cache. Are there any ways to permanently disable the plugin’s cache or set a shorter cache lifetime? Thank you!
Hello maxim-belenkiy
Indeed, the plugin has own internal cache, but you always can reset it if you open your site with additional URL parameter ”?reset_filters_cache=true” I.e. https://example.com/?reset_filters_cache=true
Optionally you can add this URL to your server’s Cron and set period when it should be executed. This will allow you to reset plugin’s cache automatically and periodically.
Hello! Tried to work with your filters. The price filter don’t appear.
This page filtering everything fine. https://opsholders.com/product-category/kw-st-suspensions/But this page, showing that there is items but not filtering anything…. (also wheel width is made sorting by abc… but not working also…
https://opsholders.com/product-category/wheels/ This page if you choose model they put every car models but not the one you need… https://opsholders.com/product-category/akrapovic/Hello opsholders
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
On this page https://opsholders.com/product-category/wheels/ it seems filters work as expected. Example – https://opsholders.com/product-category/wheels/?filter_wheel-model=jr14&filter_off-set=20
Maybe you already changed it to the correct value in the “And what to filter?” field. Also if you do not see the Price filter please, check if you specified correct meta key, disable option “Hide empty Filters” and check if you didn’t set the Parent filter for the Price filter.
If you want to see there https://opsholders.com/product-category/akrapovic/ only Car models that are related with selected Brand, please specify the Brand filter as parent for the Car model filter. It can be done under filter’s “More options” section.
Regards.

I have a problem when i try to set the plugin licence key i’m reading “unknown error”.... impossible to set
Hello anthonynouveloeil
Please, note that License key and CodeCanyon purchase code are different things. To set License key, please go to Filters -> Settings -> License, click on the “Get your License Key” https://prnt.sc/-ehm9df3H_XT and you will be redirected to the new page. Log in there with your Envato credentials and you will see your License key for the Filter Everything PRO plugin.
If you still continue to get this error message, please send me your License key and Credentials to your /wp-admin in accordance with this document I will check it myself.
Thank you.
I had send you the informations to my wp-admin ! Thanks
Hello anthonynouveloeil
Thank you for the credentials, I checked them and they work. But also send me please License key generated on the page opened after click on the “Get your License Key” button https://prnt.sc/-ehm9df3H_XT
Thank you. Regards.
Hello,
I send you the licence key by private message !
Thank you. Regards.
Hello anthonynouveloeil
Thank you for the details you provied. License keys were activated on both your sites.
Now you can update the plugin on the site with its old version. But don’t forget to create DB and plugins backup. For example you can do it with the Updraft Plus Backup plugin.

If it is possible I would be thankful for a positive review about the plugin here on CodeCanyon – https://codecanyon.net/item/filter-everything-wordpress-woocommerce-filter/reviews/31634508
Thank you in advance!
I need some filters (apply_filters): 1. on widget filter title (has css-class “widget-title”), 2. on sorting option values. I need to make some modification in specific cases. mainly for translation cases. Simply wrap the values by apply_filters function please! Thank you very much.
i found these very helpful: wpc_dropdown_default_option and wpc_filter_title. only one missing for me is the filter for the option values in “orderby.php”. i do not want to make a template copy of the file.
and for some reason filter “widget_title” always returning an empty string?!
i am talking about line 28 in SortingWidget.php – seems the widget_title filter is missing here.
Hello nicmare
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
I’m glad to meet here person who is familiar with coding. I already added all appropriate hooks for all widgets titles and they will be available in the next plugin update. But also I’ve sent you direct link to the intermediary plugin version, that alreay contains these hooks via PM. Please, check your email.
Thank you. Regards.
awesome! seems to work for me. i can translate the last missing strings. thank you so much
one thing i did not find is a filter for wpc-orderby-select option VALUES. whats inside the option tag.
i think its sufficient to wrap variable in line 40 of frontend/orderby.php
Hello nicmare
You always can override this template with your own and modify any code in it. Please, look on the Templates Overriding feature, that my plugin supports – https://filtereverything.pro/resources/templates-overriding/
Hi , I am trying to set up the plugin on the shop page but it is not displaying over there. any suggestions? I have setup the filter , setup the widget as well but still no filter enabled on the shop page.
I have tried everything but it is not visible on any page.
Hi manishsharmapetsolutionsintl
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
I’m sorry for the late response, here in Ukraine we had Easter last Sunday and Monday was a day off. Therefore, a certain amount of unprocessed support requests has accumulated.
Usually the reason is in wrong selected value in the “Where to filter?” field, but if you don’t see filters on any page, maybe there is CSS issue or something like that. Please, send me link to the page with this problem, I will check it. Optionally you can send it via PM.
Thank you. Regards.
Thanks for your reply. I don’t know what was happened but it is working now.
Hi manishsharmapetsolutionsintl
Great. I’m glad that it already is working for you.
I would like to ask you to remove/change to positive your review here https://codecanyon.net/ratings/3482502 It looks like it was written in a hurry
Thank you. Regards.
Hi Stepasyuk, It stopped working again. It is not visible on the page.https://p95.f0e.myftpupload.com/shop-products/
Hi manishsharmapetsolutionsintl
Thank you for reaching our support.
Please, send us credentials to your /wp-admin in accordance with this document and we will check this.
Regards.
I sent you credentials. Please check
Hi manishsharmapetsolutionsintl
Thank you for credentials.
I’ve checked the issue and realized that the reason is in your theme function with name themetechmount_inline_css_header_code() that displays inline CSS for your theme. This functions designed in such way that it is not compatible with the Filter Everything plugin.
I’ve rewriten this function to make it compatible and put it in the /wp-content/themes/frizty-child/functions.php file. Now filters work fine, please check this.
P.S. I would like to ask you to change your review here https://codecanyon.net/ratings/3482502 from 1 star to 5 stars if it is possible.
Thank you. Regards.
Hi, Thanks for updating the code. I have changed the rating as well. To display brands, I am using Perfect Brands for WooCommerce plugin. I have a page setup to display brands with images. I am not able to filter the brands using our plugin. is this possible? can we link this to show all products in stock?
Hi manishsharmapetsolutionsintl
Thank you for the review update.
In general if you want to filter Brands that usually are taxonomies this is not possible as the plugin filters only posts. But if you want to filter BY Brands it is possible of course. Please, provide me with link to the page with these Brands and I will say you definitely if it is possible at all.
Regarding to show filtered products with “In Stock” status only – there are two ways to achieve this:
1. To create fitler by Stock status as in this example – https://demo.filtereverything.pro/example/by-stock/ and your site visitors can control what to see
2. Or to add in the functions.php of your active theme next code – https://gist.github.com/wpserve/6bb6d1c7141f23b058a1ca726ca57372 This will force to hide “Out of stock” products automatically.
Regards.
Thanks … what do you mean by BY Brands??
My page url : https://69c.ae1.myftpupload.com/brands/
Hi manishsharmapetsolutionsintl
Thank you for the link you provided.
I checked the page and I can say that you display there Brands that are taxonomy terms and they can not be filtered by the Filter Everything PRO/Free plugin. Because the plugin filters products or posts only, but it does not filter taxonomy terms.
BY Brands – I mean situation, when you filter products and Brands is one of the filtering criterion (like Category or Pet in your case).
Regards.
If main post query loop is changed to product post type – only options available in the Filter settings are “Search results page for selected Post Type” or “Shop Page”. What is needed is “All archive pages for this Post Type”. Please advise on a potentail fix here.
Hello Designr_company
In general there is no support for accounts which support period is expired in accordance with the Rules. But I can help you later, after all requests from accounts with valid support period will be processed It may take some time – days or weeks.
If you want to get it faster, please extend your support period and this request will be processed in the first queue for supported accounts.
Thank you. Regards.
I have a Question about saving Inputs.
We use Filter Everything Pro for Searching through our Categories of our Shop.
I´d like to define the Filter Parameters (Make/Model/Year) etc on the Startpage and to Save the Input Values for the Categories so that the customer doesn´t have to input the values again and again for every Page switch. How can i get the Filter to work like this ?
Hello royk9
I think the best way in your case is not to define pre-selected filter terms, but to modify WP_Query that displays products on the Startpage and force it to select desired Make/Model/Year by default. When visitor will filter these products these pre-defined Make/Model/Year will be always selected.
Another opiont is to set your Startpage to be opened by URL with pre-selected filters for example like this – https://demo.filtereverything.pro/product-category/electronics/smartphones/
Hi! I noticed that a few pages that have my Filter Everything Pro on them, have lost their formatting. I have configured them all the same, but for some reason a few pages look wonky -while others look normal. Example of normal page: https://audrasbridalgallery.com/jasmine-bridesmaids/
Wonky filters: https://audrasbridalgallery.com/view-all-2/
Any help greatly appreciated
Hello erikakyoung
I’m not sure it is related with Filter Everything PRO directly, but it looks like you inserted the ‘code’ tag in the content of your pages and maybe it was not closed or used wrong. Please, see – https://prnt.sc/vo9VOxjGVq7o
Hello, I’m tried PM’ing you but no reply so posting my issue in comments.
I have added multiple filters using shortcode on Shop page, which works fine for Desktop view. But for Mobile view (Pro version, mobile popup enabled) it only displays one Filter List and all other’s do not display.
Store is built using Elementor, Hello Theme https://woocommerce-968147-3384627.cloudwaysapps.com/shop/Thanks in advance for your help
Hello awedience
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
In general this trick with several Filter Sets for the same page and the filter by the same entity does not work with Pop-up for mobile devices. Because every Filters widget has own single Pop-up.
If this is your staging copy of the new site I recommend you do not use Product categories for “Product”, “Protein” and “Pet type” entities. But instead of them to create appropriate 3 taxonomies with free CPTUI plugin, create one Filter Set with all filters and you will get regular Pop-up for mobile with all these filters.
Hello itlogicpro
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
Usually such behaviou is consequense of the wrong selected WP_Query. It looks like your Product category pages and your Shop page contains different WP_Queries and they require to use different Filter Sets. For example one may be for all Product Categories, second for your Shop page. And you have to play with the value in selected “And what to filter?” field. I recommend you also to disable AJAX when you are configuring your filters and enable it only after you ensure that all filters work as expected.
Hi there! I have a problem with the category hierarchy. I have no checkbox to enable it. https://ibb.co/xjNz54X
Hi tanyazhi
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
Usually the reason of such issue is that selected taxonomy is not hierarchical and does not support parent and child terms. Please, make sure that you selected correct taxonomy because sometimes there may be several taxonomies with similar names on a site.
But this is the regular Woocommerce category with subcategories. Double checked. Doesn’t work. Can I have my money back?
Hello
I got two issues I’m trying to solve:
1) I’m trying to filter product categories with filter logic turned to “AND”. If I now select a parent category there are no results. Is it possible to change that?
2) The mobile popup widget doesn’t appear, I already tried different settings but I’m not getting any results.
https://n-joyevents.ch/shop/Hello ruben114
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
1) Logic AND means that filterd products should be simultaneously in all (two or more) selected categories. But also if you opened some category page and select there parent category it means that products should be simultaneously in your parent category and in the category which page you opened. Please, check this moment.
2) Usually the reason is that you placed Filters widget in the container that is hidden on mobile devices. Please, check this moment and if it is true you have to place Filters widget in another container or just make it visible on mobile devices.
Please, let me know if it was helpful for you.
Hello Stepasyuk
Thanks for your reply.
1) Sadly not the case
2) Sadly not the case
Should I send you credentials to check it on the backend?
Hello ruben114
Please, send us credentials to your /wp-admin in accordance with this document and also describe steps to reproduce both issues we will check this.
Thank you. Regards.
Hello
I just sent the credentials. Thanks!
Hello ruben114
Thank you for credentials you provided.
I’ve checked your site and realized next:
1) You parent categories like “Licht” or “Lautsprecher” does not contain any products and that’s why it is expected behaviour that filter counters show 0 for these filter terms and you do not see any products when you select them. To see products, pease add them to these categories also.
2) You theme does not support standard WordPress theme hooks and that’s why you do not see Filters button that opens Pop-up filters widget on mobile devices. But you always can insert the button with shortcode [fe_open_button] for example in your sidebar and it will appear. Also please, make sure that filters widget placed in container that is not hidden on mobile devices.
Thank you. Regards.
Hi
Thanks for your reply
1) If I set the filter logic to “OR”, all the children products appear only when I set it to “AND” they don’t show up. Isn’t this odd?
2) Thanks, that worked fine!
Hi ruben114
Yes, it looks like a bug at a first glance. But in fact it is expected behavior.
WordPress uses parameter ‘include_children’ that by default forces parent category page to display posts from its children categories. And Filter Everything only inherits the value of this parameter. On your site it has value ‘true’ and that’s why when you use logic “OR” filter shows you posts from children categories. Also if you open parent category page you will see posts from its children categories.
But when you use logic AND in the filter it is not compatible with ‘include_children’ parameter and that’s why you do not see any posts because parent category page does not contain them. To display them you have to attach posts to these parent categories also.
Thank you. Regards.
Hello, I have the following problem: I have filled in my license on my site which is still active, however, I encounter “This license key already used for two sites.”
How can I manage the license to use it on my site: https://www.sport-in-place.com
Thanking you in advance Sincerely Bruno
Hello Bruno
Indeed, you can use the same license key only on two websites simultaneously. Basically on your end-product website and on its development copy. But if you want to use the license key on third website you have two options:
- to deactivate it on one of your previous two websites
- to buy new license for the plugins and use it on 3-4 websites simultaneously.
Hello Stepasyuk!
I’m sorry to be here again, but today we launched our new website, everything was fine in Maintenance mode, because we were all logged in, and we didn’t notice this, but for some weird reason, your plugin only works for LOGGED IN users, if you are a Guest, everything is fine design wise, but Filter’s aren’t working. We have WP Rocket cache plugin installed, we thought the problem was that, but we disabled all optimizations from it, surprise, problem still persists, any ideea why it behaves like this ? It’s really weird and to be honest, at a long journey of months to set everything up, and put attributes for each product just for them ending up not working it’s very stressful, thanks for any input/help. Cheers
Later edit: we are using the last version of Woodmart theme from here -> https://themeforest.net/item/woodmart-woocommerce-wordpress-theme/20264492 we completely disabled all Cache, still having the same issue, another weird thing is that the plugin only “sees” all product categories but one. We have 9 categories, 1 shop page, and we have Filter sets for 8 dedicated categories, 1 universal set as “Any Product Categories” and 1 for the Shop page. This is also strange right ? So basically we having 2 issues with the plugin, 1 more urgent than the other, please help us, we just got live after months, we didn’t expect this.
Hello JohnnyQ
1. About the first problem – it seems you use different WP_Queries to display products for your logged in and logged out users. When you select a WP_Query to filter in Filter Set, the plugin “catches” targeted WP_Query and “remembers” it. If there are two different WP_Queries for logged in and logged out users on the page, FIlter Everything PRO will not filter that another query that is different from the original “catched” in Filter Set.
To filter that second query you have to catch it in Filter Set or as option to “catch” the query that has exactly the same parameters. It requires to play with code a bit because Filter Set see only WP_Queries that works in logged in mode (because you “catch” them from /wp-admin)
2. Please, send me link to the example, when plugin “sees” only one category. Maybe you excluded other categories or included only one under filter’s More options section. Or maybe they are empty or maybe you have to reset filters cache by adding to your site URL parameter ?reset_filters_cache=true
Hey Stepasyuk,
1. We shows everything the same to all of our users, we don’t have any specific module that keeps content from users, ex: custom content for 1 type of user group, we installed woocommerce + other plugins and your Filter sets, works fine for Admins, but just for Admins, we didn’t made any custom work for your plugin or others. I have no ideea what this is WP_Queries or what it means, as i said, we did ZERO custom work.
2. The category that is not “seen” it’s not empty or restricted by any means, i’ve also did this ?reset_filters_cache=true
Our website is currently live, indexing in google and our partners, and our filter sets are not working, it’s a bit of a struggle really, how can we fix this URGENTLY ? do you have a Skype ID or something ? we can offer remote access also, maybe another of our plugins is conflicting with this one, but it shouldn’t.
We really, really need your DIRECT help at this point, please let me know how we can achieve that VERY FAST, we really don’t care if we need to pay extra, we are LIVE since last week and our FILTERS aren’t working. Can we get in touch faster somehow and FIX this ASAP ?
Hello JohnnyQ
As I told you before, please provide me with link to the page with the problem where filter does not work for logged out users, but works for logged in. I still do not see any messages from you with such examples.
Also please, provide me with credentials to your /wp-admin in accordance with this document to allow me to check it from the dashboard.
FYI – support answer delay here is up to 2 days. I understand that you would like to get answers faster but in this case I would have to hire one more assistant and increase plugin price to 50$-60$ which is not desirable. CodeCanyon support answers me up to 6 days and I also have to wait all this time.
Hey, credentials sent via PM, please help us ASAP, we will compensate the effort 100%.
Hello JohnnyQ
We have already solved this issue after conversation in email so this request is already resolved.
Hey Stepasyuk, more than 10 months passed since we last talked, i was wondering if you managed to fix the incompatibility between Filter Everything PRO and WooCommerce Wholesale Prices (https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-wholesale-prices/) i’ve replied here so you can have a sense of what i’m talking about. Just to refresh your memory, plugins were incompatible (reported by a lot of people 10-12 months ago). I would love your feedback on this matter, as we need to use the Wholesale plugin together with yours.
Hi JohnnyQ
Yes, we plan to add this compatibility in future updates. There are no exact dates when it will be released yet, as we are working on the most important things at this time. For now, we are focused on expanding the filtering functionality as well as the filtering speed. A new release with these updates was released a few days ago.
It will be added but when exactly there is no information yet.
Best Regards,
- Victor
Hey Victor, we’re talking this year, the next ? If you can give me a rough estimate, would be much appreciated.
Basically, it’s only the beginning of the year, so it could be released this year. But that’s very abstract at the moment because even the development team can’t give us a date yet.
When we get more accurate information about this. We’ll let you know right away.
Best Regards,
- Victor
We have installed the filter just for our blogs, and it doesn’t seem to be pulling in all of the categories.
https://mushrooms.virtualombudsman.com/blog-draft/We have tested each query…what are we doing wrong?
Hello warchop1237
As I see the Category filter works and shows you all possible categories on your site. But the filter by Post tags does not display them and it seems there are no tags yet on your site. It seems you have to create them first.
But if you have Post tags on your site and you are sure that thay should be displayed, please, send me credentials to your /wp-admin in accordance with this document I will check it myself.
Thank you.
