Hi!

1. Whenever im using the popup widget for mobile and select some filters after it loads, the wpc-filters-overlay stays. you can swipe/scroll up unless you click on the overlay…can you check that out please?

2. also, on mobile, is there a way we can layout the [fe_open_button] and sorting in two columns? just so they would look good design wise

Hi romerorichmond

1. Please, send me link to the example with this problem. Optionally you can send it via PM, but let me know here in this comments thread about that.

2. I think you know, that you always can create two or more columns on your site by adding them via conding or with a Page Builder. But it seems you asked if it is possible to create columns with the Filter Everything PRO plugin. My answer is – unfortunately no, because it is not responsibility of my plugin. The best way is to create columns with Page Builder or directly in your theme files. But of coruse, if you have these columns you can insert there filters open button and the Sorting widget.

Hi,

Foldable option not available for range filter. Would like to fold all filters by default, please help me to how can achieve that?

Issue for Taxonomy Numeric type

Hi satishvarma

Thank you for using Filter Everything PRO.

By default this option is hidden for Range filters. But you can use a trick and make it visible and enabled in the Chrome console. Please, see this screenshot – https://prnt.sc/JS3DHlEsH2Bo

Hi, we have created a new page with Elementor, in this page we have inserted the shortcode to display the filter. Reports the following error into debug: No one Filter Set is related with this page. You can configure it in the Filter Set -> “Where to filter?” field. On another page the same filter works. Set filter Where to filter? Common Wordpress pages -> All archive pages for this Post Type

HI Stepasyuk, we tried to enable Apply button with Alternative location and this is the configuration (https://prnt.sc/Oz08kjyUYhqC): Where to filter Common Wordpress pages -> Search result and Alternative location: common Wordpress pages -> Home page. On the search page, the filter was completely blank.https://prnt.sc/raQV7IAf-ZDT We also tried flipping pages. Also I don’t know if you solved the bug related to my first support request that forced me to use ajax and not Apply button

As an alternative, is the possibility of entering a free search available in your plugin? So you can replace that of woocommerce. https://prnt.sc/M7pNLcQbNxnG

Hello DeltaMarket

If the Filter widget does not display on the Search results page there could be 2 possible reasons: 1. You did not insert Filters widget or its shortcode on the page 2. You tried to check wrong page.

Please, open search results page from the Filter Set by clicking on the eye icon close to the “Where to filter?” field. And please, check if there is Filters widget inserted in your sliding area.

This bug isn’t resolved yet, but I keep it in my mind and I will do it in closest 7-10 days.

I’m not sure about Free search because my plugin does not contain such field yet. In any case if you need to modify any search field (WordPress or WooCommerce) you always can do it via hooks.

Good day support. I’m trying to filter by author on category page but it is not working. Filtering by author only works when it’s a normal page.

please help.

Hello nathanlsimons

Thank you for using Filter Everything PRO.

Usually it may be consequence of the wrong selected WP_Query in the Filter Set. Please, try to select another WP_Query in the “And what to filter?” field in your Filter Set. I also recommend you disable AJAX until you will ensure that filtering works as expected.

Hello Stepasyuk,

we still have a bug with the query recognition on translated pages (WPML). We wrote you several times per private message and would be happy to solve this issue. You should have all the relevant information and accesses in my previous messages. Please let us know how we can solve it.

Hi alexandra_lovin

I’m sorry for the late response. I have a lot of requests and some of them are also urgent. I’m continue to investigate this issue and will let you know about result up to Tuesday 18-th of April. Maybe it will happen faster. But please, write some answer to this comment so that it will kepp appear in my dashboard as unanswered. Otherwise I can loose it.

Thank you. Regards.

Hi Stepasyuk, thanks for the response. We will waiting for your response.

Hi alexandra_lovin

I’m glad to let you know that the issue is now resolved and filters work on your second domain. I made some changes on your instance of the plugin and added them to the next plugin verison. So you don’t need to do anything with this, just update the plugin, when the new version will be available.

The problem was related with security checks that did not work when you use two domains in WPML.

Thank you. Regards.

Hi, last Friday i bought this plugin by mistake. The plugin hasn’t been activated. I would like to know if I can get a refund. Thanks.

Hi llupon

I’m sorry that you were not satisfied with the plugin. As I see you already created the refund request, it will be processed as soon as possible.

Thank you.

Hi! I sorted each attribute filter by 123 or abc but I don’t see any changes in front end. https://ilmarsr3.sg-host.com/produktu-kategorijas/podi/podi-podi/ please precise why? I cleared cache and checked website on 2 different browsers.

Hello LiivR

For the moment for the filter “Diametrs (cm)” terms the order is selected by “Menu order «123»” It means that you can manually set this order by dragging terms to top and bottom on this page – https://ilmarsr3.sg-host.com/wp-admin/edit-tags.php?taxonomy=pa_diametrs&post_type=product Please, set there desired order and it will be the same in the filter.

Thank you for the reply. What do you advise to do in terms of correct sorting settings if for Include/Exclude Terms I have empty field and I have Exclude none set, because I want to include all terms for that specific attribute (also the ones which will be added in the future – I don’t want to add them manually later on), therefore I don’t have attributes listed and I can’t manually sort them in a correct order. Which sorting order is the one I should use in order to have ascending number order?

Hello

For your purpose you have to use “Term name «abc»” value. But result may depends from specific settings in your PHP config. So if it will not work as you expected you always have ability to sort them manually on the attributes page.

Hello, I would like to know if the plugin lets me do this filter format. 1 – the user has to fill in two fields and only then click on filter. First he chooses the product category; Then choose the value range;

And it shows results after clicking search.

Can I create something like this?

Example in the image: https://prnt.sc/Db29ns9gN_Je

Hello samucavirtualite

Thank you for your interest in Filter Everything PRO.

For the moment you can do it only if the top field will be dropdown with predefined options. The plugin has no own search field, where you can type text, but it will be added later in future updates.

Dear Stepasyuk!

1) Could you please precise why filter doesn’t show all category products? Please have a look at this filter: https://ilmarsr3.sg-host.com/produktu-kategorijas/biologiska-augu-aizsardziba/dzivie-organismi/ . We see 0 for Tripsis, Laputis and Brunutis although I checked that products several products under this category have mentioned attributes. For example: https://ilmarsr3.sg-host.com/shop/biologiska-augu-aizsardziba/dzivie-organismi/orius-system-500/ https://ilmarsr3.sg-host.com/shop/biologiska-augu-aizsardziba/dzivie-organismi/adalia-system-100/ 2) Please precise how to change color of check box to theme default color?

Hello LiivR

1. As I see now all these terms have more than 0 counts of products. It seems the reason of the issue was cached data. It can be refreshed if you open your site page with ?reset_filters_cache=true parameter in URL. For example https://ilmarsr3.sg-host.com/?reset_filters_cache=true

2. If you do not use “Styled checkboxes and radio buttons” (can be activated in Filters -> Settings -> Experimental -> Styled checkboxes and radio buttons) the color of checkboxes and radiobuttons is default browser color. I think they can be changed via CSS but you have to try to find this on appropriate resources in Internet. If you will activate “Styled checkboxes and radio buttons” you can set color for them in Filters -> Settings.

Hello,

I am using ACF with Filter Everytihng Pro to filter woningen(houses). In the filter energielabel is missing something. There should be 2 choices: A and A+++ but only the choise A is visible in the filter. Could you help me make every choise visible in the filter?

http://drm.ontwikkelaim.nl/woningen/koopwoningen/

Best Regards, Lucas

Hello Lucas

Thank you for using Filter Everything PRO.

It is known bug and I’m already working on it. I will fix it soon and let you know here in this comment thread how to update the fixed plugin version.

Can I only display a certain main category (e.g. electronics) and its subcategories on a page? All other main categories should not be displayed. Maybe this can be done with an extra shortcode?

Hi Nettili

Sure, you can specify what exactly category (or another filter term) should be included in the filter. There are several ways to do this – via settings or via small custom coding in dependancy from details of your goal.

Hi, I am using Elementor and various other plugins to show products. but your free version does not show filtered product. So I want too know will this work on the pro version and also does it have the collapse option for PC/Tablet and mobile all three?

Thank you

Hi madhawaudawatta

Thank you for your interest in Filter Everything PRO.

Indeed, the Free version works only with native WordPress WP_Queries (called Main WP_Query) and that’s why it does not filter custom WP_Queries that Elementor and many other plugin use. So my answer is – yes, sure. The PRO version will filter products and posts on pages created with Elementor or other Page Builders. Here is demo example of filtering on the page created with Elementor – https://demo.filtereverything.pro/elementor/

Is there a way to add a collapse button on for pc also?

Yes, sure. It is possible. I can provide you with instructions under item support policy, if you will buy the plugin.

Thank you.

Hello. I use your filter plugin for a selling properties website. Is there a possibility to have some kind of sorting so that the custom field price can be used to sort from low to high price and from high to low? Thank you!

also, the second question: is there a possibility to have a search option filter for dropdown? I saw that for the checkbox, for example, there is that option, but for a dropdown exist? Thank you!

Hello kiklab

1. Sure. Just create appropriate sorting option in the Sorting widget. You have to select there “Meta key num” for the new sorting option.

2. If you enable “Improved dropdowns” in Filters -> Settings -> Experimental -> Improved dropdowns each Dropdown will contain a search field. But it is available only when you open the dropdown. Please see screenshot – https://prnt.sc/s7ldxv8w-scq created on this demo page – https://demo.filtereverything.pro/

How can your first question apply to hello elementor themes? I know on this theme there are no widgets :) Thank you!

Once i enable plugin i get this error. I just purchaced plugin and i get too many errors

It seems that plugin does not support Php 8.1

Hello GOGOULOS.

Thank you for using the plugin.

It is compatible with PHP 8.1, but it seems your PHP instance has no enabled CURL module. Please, ask your hosting provider support to enable CURL and it will become to work correctly.

I can’t get the plugin to work with post categories. You can help me?

Hello Giabobbe

Thank you for using Filter Everything PRO.

Please, let me know what exaclty problem you got when you tried to create filter by post categories? Did you see this short article about how to quick start with the plugin https://filtereverything.pro/resources/quickstart/ ?

Thank you.

Hi, Is it intended that on filter (with ajax enabled) whole page (document) is loaded in response? Not only the product container with filtered products?

I just saw also that when i edit products with filter everything enabled, i see in product attributes the visuals are changed. Also i am using sheet editor to create variations from single products. With filter everything enabled this doesnt work. This is really critical for me

Hello GOGOULOS

It looks like this problems were caused by the reason in previous your comment about CURL module in PHP. I hope you already enabled this module and now these issues have gone.

Hello

I am facing the exact same issue.

I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to let you know that I am experiencing some issues with the AJAX filter option on my website. I have noticed that the product images are not being displayed when the AJAX filter option is enabled, but if I refresh the page, the images are then shown.

For your reference, my website URL is https://laviehome.gr and I am currently using the Flatsome theme.

Thank you for your time and I appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter.

Best regards,

Hello GOGOULOS

It is known issue when you use AJAX and Lazy load or other JS features that applied to dynamically loaded content should be reinitialized after this content was loaded.

In case of Flatsome theme Lazy Load feature, you have to add next JS code somewhere on your site pages. The best way is to place it in JS file of your child theme, but also you can put it directly in footer.php and keep it there when you use Lazy Load.
function createObserver (handler) {
   return new IntersectionObserver(function (entries) {
       for (var i = 0; i < entries.length; i++) {
           handler(entries[i])
       }
   }, {
       rootMargin: '0px',
       threshold: 0.1
   })
}

jQuery(document).on('ready', function(e){
   var observer = createObserver(function (entry) {
       if (entry.intersectionRatio > 0) {
           observer.unobserve(entry.target)

           var $el = jQuery(entry.target)
           var src = $el.data('src')
           var srcset = $el.data('srcset')

           if ($el.hasClass('lazy-load-active')) return
           else $el.addClass('lazy-load-active')

           if (src) $el.attr('src', src)
           if (srcset) $el.attr('srcset', srcset)

           $el.imagesLoaded(function () {
               $el.removeClass('lazy-load')
               if (typeof objectFitImages !== 'undefined') {
                   objectFitImages($el)
               }
           })
       }
   })

   jQuery('.lazy-load').each(function (i, el) {
       observer.observe(el)
   })
});

I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to let you know that I am experiencing some issues with the AJAX filter option on my website. I have noticed that the product images are not being displayed when the AJAX filter option is enabled, but if I refresh the page, the images are then shown.

I have created a short video recording of the issue which I have shared with you using the following link: https://www.loom.com/share/4f229c62c340419d9cfff749475143c5

For your reference, my website URL is https://lunettes.com.bd and I am currently using the Flatsome theme.

           else $el.addClass('lazy-load-active')

           if (src) $el.attr('src', src)

               if (typeof objectFitImages !== 'undefined') {
                   objectFitImages($el)
               }
           })
       }
   })

   jQuery('.lazy-load').each(function (i, el) {
       observer.observe(el)
   })
});

Thanks for the solution. I’ve just disabled the lazy loading feature and it resolved the issue.

Cool. I’m glad that your problem is already solved :-)
