Hi, I was looking at the demos but didn’t come across anything that would answer my question. Would this plugin be able to perform filtering like my screen recording ( https://screenrec.com/share/oAkrqeiMXs ). incase you are unable to to view it, the filter widget has a search box of all brands offered and upon typing in the box, it will display all brands that contain the characters and when clicked on “view more”, it is then scrollable and does not expand the height of the entire list at once, and can also the box can be toggled on and off. Thank you in advance and look forward to your prompt response.
Hello zoomitnow
Thank you for your interest in Filter Everything PRO.
I already answered you in Email
Hi,
It seems that once I’ve created a filter to filter by Product Categories, I’m not able to create another filter to also filter by Product Categories or categories.
My products have different parent and product categories, i.e. product type, product style etc., are all product categories.
Can you help, please? Is there a way I can have more than just one Product Category filter option?
https://prnt.sc/EBm1WQyV5k24Thanks, B
Hi babs19
Unfortunately you can not use the same entity as filter twice or more in the same Filter Set for technical reasons. But you can use a trick – create two Filter Sets, create the filter by Product Categories in both of them and point them to the same page.
Alternative option is to create different taxonomies to group products by different criteria. It is much better from the app design point of view and allows you to use them in one Filter Set. Such taxonomies can be created with the free CPTUI plugin.
FYI If you will need my support in the future, please update your support period which is expired.
Thanks for taking the time to respond – noted and will do.
Great plugin by the way!
Hi Stepasyuk,
Is there a way to display your filters not as a sidebar but at the top row, something like Product Filter for WooCommerce?
Hi ckldigital
Yes, sure. Here is live exaple with horizontal filters – https://www.auslandsjob.de/jobs/job_type-vollzeit/job_filter_country-europa/
I can provide you with solution in terms of support of the PRO version if you will buy it.
Hello again, please I need to execute a function after filtering with ajax. Is it possible, do you have any listener that I can connect?
How can i apply diferrent CSS after ajax complete?
In plugin setting is custom CSS, there can be other text field for jquery o JS custom code after ajax complete. is posible?
Hello citadela
Please use for that trigger “ready”. It fires every time after filters are loaded with AJAX. Here is common example
jQuery(document).on('ready', function(e){
/* useful code, e.g. jQuery("[data-fancybox]").fancybox(); */
});
hi, yes i see your function wpcSendFilterRequest, and ready, scroll, resize triggers, but is not work, after your ajax complete is not triggered. All my jquery lines have (document).ready.. etc..
Hi citadela
Please, try to check it with such code:
jQuery(document).on('ready', function(e){
alert('test');
});
It should work. If it does not work, please try to check if your page contain some JS errors or maybe you specified such “CSS id or class of the Posts Container” that contains filter-everything.min.js file that reloads within this container every time.
yes, you are right.. but i thought that jQuery(document).on(‘ready’, function(e){}); and jQuery(document).ready(function(){}); is same, but is not same, or at least it not same for triggers.
Dear Stepasyuk!

It works with product tags, I couldn’t get it to work with product attributes. Do you have any ideas?
Hello webcreative_kft
Thank you for using FIlter Everything PRO.
If no one SEO data is changed on filtering result pages it means that SEO Rules do not work and there could be several reasons. Please, read this manual carefully and try to set up SEO Rule step by step – https://filtereverything.pro/resources/seo-rules/#create-seo-rule
Hello. I’m having a little problem with the filters I want to set it at custom page but after applying filter products disappear. The number of products is correct. Please help
Regards
I discovered that Ajax filtering only makes that issue. When turned off everything works good. I tried to find the id of the post container but it doesn’t work either

Please, look on this article https://filtereverything.pro/resources/plugin-settings/#ajax about how to find and set correct value for the “CSS ID or Class of Posts Container” This should help you to solve the issue.
Hello Stepasyuk. Thank you for your reply and kind welcome, we wish you all the best.
I was able to solve the problem. I discovered that it only didn’t work when post/product module layout mode was set to CSS GRID. Other types of layout work without any problems.
I’ve got one more thing to discuss. When opening the widget on mobile, the page scrolls all the way to the top and I want it to stay in the place where the button was clicked. Any possible solution?
Regards
One more from me – How can I translate text in chips “max price”. I can’t see it in Loco Translate source text.
Hello esky_marketing
It seems your CSS GRID layout has some JavaScript actions that should be re-initiated after AJAX loaded filtered products. Here are more info about such cases – https://filtereverything.pro/resources/ajax-related-problems/
Send me please link to the page with example of the problem with mobile widget.
$chips_term_name = apply_filters( 'wpc_chips_term_name', $term->name, $term, $filter );
This expects that you are familiar with WordPress hooks or you have to ask a developer to help you.
Hello, This is a pre-sale question. I have a staging WooCommerce website that uses Elementor with the loop grid widget. I have previously used Crocoblock filters, but they cannot work with Elementor Loop Grid. Could you please tell me what the status is on your side? Do “Filter Everything” works with the Elementor loop grid? Many thanks for your answer!
Hello fouadhousni
Thank you for your interest in Filter Everything PRO.
Yes, sure. My plugin works wih any loops/WP_Queries including created with Elementor. Here is live demo how it works with Elementor loops – https://demo.filtereverything.pro/elementor/ Please, check it out.
Hello, and thank you for your quick reply. Have a nice day!
We’re very much looking forward to the functionality requested by MartinNorton as well. In other words, Search in Filtered post grid. 3d party Search plugins will search effectively but throughout the whole set, and not the filtered content only.
Hello ag_cm
Thank you for using Filter Everything PRO.
Yes, sure. This feature is already added in my development schedule and I definitely will add it to the plugin. I can’t say you when exactly this will happen, but I will notify you here in this comment thread abou that.
Hello ag_cm
I’m glad to inform you that built-in Search Field compatible with filters, AJAX and that allows you to search Woo products by SKU was added to the latest plugin version 1.7.8. You can update it automatically if you have activated your License key or download zip here on CodeCanyon.
Thank you. Regards.
Good day, great news, thank you for the awaited functionality. The issue we’re having with it, is that it only works for logged in users. As long as you’re not logged in WP nothing happens on using search. Would appreciate any thoughts about it.
Hello! Is it possible to get a refund? I could not achieve what I needed with Filter Everything plugin and in the end went with different solution. I would appreciate getting my money back as I won’t be using your product.
Hello inbox23
I’m sorry that you were not satisfied with the plugin. You can create refund request in the form in your account here on CodeCanyon and it will be processed as soon as possible.
Thank you.
Hello, our mobile popup won’t appear. Are you able to point out what’s causing this? Please see website here: shorturl.at/bfguX Thank you!
Problem has been fixed.
Hello AP4571
I’m glad that your issue is already solved
Thank you for your notification about that.

Hello softmaster971
Thank you for your interest in Filter Everythig PRO.
Please, write your support request from the account, where you purchased PRO version.
Thank you.
Hello. I have some pre purchase question. I use uncode theme to build a site and would like to use your plugin for filtering. I have installed demo version but it doesn’t work. Uncode theme uses something what is called content blocks to build woo commerce products archive and I don’t know if your plugin is compatible with it?
Cześć simon_skybox
Miło mi powitać Państwa z Ukrainy.
Indeed, Free version of the plugin works only with native WordPress WP_Queries and does not allow to filter any Custom WP_Queries. So this is the reason, why Free version did not work with Uncode theme that uses custom blocks with custom WP_Queries. But PRO version works with them for 100% you may not worry abou this.
Hi, I have created several filters the past month, but recently adding a new attribute and added this filter to my product page, clicking the checkbox results in a short loading time before back to unchecked. I am unable to identify what causes this as it seems to be correctly setup. I have sent you site URL on PM
Hi ckrumins
Thank you for using Filter Everything PRO.
I checked your site and reaslized that it was conflict between one of your URL prefix and one taxonomy term that have the same name “port”. This conflict did not allow to add new URL prefix for the new filter. I changed the prefix to “fport” in the Filters -> Settings -> URL Prefixes tab, updated your Filter Set and now it works fine.
You can change this “fport” prefix to something another “xport”, “filter-port” or anything else.
From my side I’ve added this issue to my own bugtracker and I will fix this in next plugin updates.
Also I updated your plugin version to the latest 1.7.3
Please, let me know if you will have any questions.
Hello, we have been using the Free version of this plugin for a long time. Because of a few things we needed, we bought the PRO version. The pro version contains “pretty URLs”. But we need to keep classic parametric URLs with ”?” due to mass ignoring in robots.txt.. We have a huge number of filters, and then the addresses get confused when they are in “nice format”.
Hello matejb3
Thank you for purchasing Filter Everything PRO.
Please, add in the functions,php of your active theme next code sting:define( 'FLRT_PERMALINKS_ENABLED', false );
This will return old GET-style URLs to filtering result pages.
I am needing some help with your plugin and Divi. None of the filters I made are working. I have read through the docs and everything is set like it is supposed to be, that I can tell. The problem is every time you select a filter is returns a No Results Found page. I tried using ajax, but that did not work either. https://browningseed.com/index.php/all-products/
I have already sent you credentials.
Hello ywpuser
Thank you for using FIlter Everything PRO.
Unfortunately you site does not work for my neigher https://browningseed.com/index.php/all-products/ nor https://browningseed.com/ Maybe there are some restriction on the server from visitors from Ukraine.
But as I see from the URL you provided you have some problems with your server settings related with permalinks. Usually WordPress sites have no URLs with /index.php/ part in them. This may be the reason of your filtering problems. Please, try to set up permalinks correctly on your site and after try to use filters.
Let me know if it was helpful for you. Thanx.
Ok, I will look at the permalinks and also why it is not allowing you to view it.
Sorry, I am trying to create a new filter but I get error, the problem is I don’t know where it is as your plugin does not highlight it, it just prompts the error and that’s it
Hello fringuello85
Can you please send me screenshot with the error? You can optionally send it via PM, if you click on my username. But please, let me know here in comments that you did it.
Thank you.
Hi, i use Pro version (d…..plugin)
i need filter a custom post
i follow the documentation: https://filtereverything.pro/resources/plugin-settings/#ajax
But when i click to apply button the url is update but the list of item is the same.
Can you help me?
Do you need more information?
I solve whit field “And what to filter?” and select …. query #2, but i don’t understand, what does it mean?
Is it possible to have the filter in all sections of the site? Putting it for example in the footer?
Hi dexanetplugin
Thank you for using the plugin.
Indeed, if you selected wrong WP_Query in the “And what to filter?” field the results may be wrong. WP_Query is posts request that selects posts from DataBase. Since there is often a situation where there are several different WP_Queries on the page, you have to specify it explicitly what exactly should be filtered. Otherwise filter will be applied to all of them and you will get filtered posts in posts grid, in posts widget, in main menu etc.
Out of the box there is no possibility to display filters on every page of your site, because in 99% cases there is no the same WP_Query on all such pages. But if you have the same posts grid on every page of your site I can provide you with code example that allows you to display Filters widget on these pages.
Hi Filter Everything PRO,
I am using your plugin and am also very satisfied with it. However, I am wondering if it is also possible to apply Conditional Logic in combination with ACF.
Example: If the visitor enters choice X in a radio button, then ACF filter XX becomes available. If the visitor enters choice Y in a radio button, then ACF filter YY becomes available.
Is this possible? Please hear!
Hi OH-MarketingWierden
Thank you for your warm words about the plugin.
In general it always is possible if you are familiar with PHP coding
Out of the box such feature is not provided by the plugin (provided only ability to hide one filter in dependency from selection in another filter), but it is not so complex to implement it.
Every filter’s HTML contains its unique CSS class. For example .wpc-filters-section-120 or .wpc-filters-section-630 If you are able to attach specific CSS class to the body tag in dependency from the selected value in ACF field, it remains only to write some CSS that hides all filters by default, but make them visible if X or Y CSS class is added to the body tag.
Hi there, I’ve set up a filter with Elementor which has been working fine, however I’m trying to make a variation of that on a duplicate page and no matter what I do the ‘And what to filter? Select WP Query you want to filter’ section will not pick up the query (was exactly the same on the working page so I dont get it) Any ideas?
Hi R3nderBoy
It may be result of cached WP_Query. Try to do next trick – update your second page, maybe update some setting in its Elementor module and right after that try to open you Filter Set and to check if it shows desired WP_Query.
Greetings of the day,
I hope this email finds you well. I have purchased your lovely plugin and wanted to use it in my website. I want to filter my custom posts with custom taxonomy and custom fields. I created a filter set and have assigned a page for the posts and used the short code of the plugin in the page. The filters don’t filter the posts list. I tried to fix it with assigning a custom id for the posts but still nothing works. Please guide me or help me solve this problem.
I am looking forward to your assistance.
Hello hudabirashk
Thank you for using Filter Everything PRO.
I have to say that it is known issue when Filters widget shows the correct number of posts found, but posts are not filtered and remain the same. Possible reasons are:
- Wrong WP_Query selected in the “And what to filter?” field of the Filter Set. Please try to experiment with different WP_Queries in the dropdown.
- Cache issue (WP_Query is cached). You have to check and maybe disable your cache plugins or modules in your hosting provider dashboard.
- AJAX enabled but wrong value for CSS id or class of the Posts Container specified. Please, disable the AJAX feature, until you will ensure that filtering works in general.
