2. Vous pouvez modifier les emails dans HBook – Emails. Vous pouvez avoir des emails en HTML et ainsi les présenter avec votre design. Si vous souhaitez utiliser un outil pour créer vos emails, vous le pouvez bien sûr. Vous copierez le HTML obtenu dans le contenu “Message” de votre modèle d’email.
3. HBook utilise les styles de votre thème. Il est possible d’ajouter des CSS pour personnaliser le rendu dans HBook – Apparence,

I am interested in purchasing this plugin. I have two questions :
1 – I rent apartments by the week but also 48h to 96h. I would like people who book by the week to be able to do so whenever they wish throughout the year. On the other hand, those who reserve 48 hours, for example, can do so only one month before the date of arrival in order to privilege weekly stays. Is it possible to apply this rule?
2 – Is it possible to charge additional visitors outside the capacity.

1. We don’t have an option to have a different booking window according to booking type or accommodation type. My suggestion would be to duplicate your accommodation type (“Apartment weekly” and “Appartment 48h/96h”). You can adjust HBook so when one is booked, the other is automatically blocked. Then, you can manually block the “Appartment 48h/96h” directly in the admin, and you can unblock when it suits you. For example, you could have blocks of 15 days set for 12 months ahead. And remove a blocked period every 15 days. By doing so, you can give preference to the “Apartment weekly”.
2. Yes, you can set price per person above normal occupancy.

What you can currently do is a CSV export of the reservations data. You can select the date range, the accommodation types, and the data you actually wish to export. You can open this CSV into any Excel type software, which will then allow you to work on the data and create your reports.

You will use the “Automatic blockings” setting in each accommodation type. In “Main Cabin upstairs & downstairs”, you will enter the id of both “Main Cabin Upstairs” and “Main Cabin Downstairs”. And in these two, you will enter the id of “Main Cabin upstairs & downstairs”.

Hello, Im interested in your plugin but not sure if it would work in my case. Could you please advice? It’s for a surfcamp website which has 4 different weekly packages with different prices for person per week. The surfcamp in total has 10 twin rooms, so 20 people can book any package in the same period. I would imagine this could work by creating one accommodation type and adding package selection as a service that people can select from, right?

This sounds feasible to me. I understand that you only have 1 room type (twin room) and that what makes the difference in terms of pricing is the package that is selected, right?
From your message, it sounds as well that the twin room are shared, right? If I book a package for myself only, I will occupy one bed of a twin room, but someone else might be occupying the second bed?
If so, and since it is for a surf camp site, I would enter each package as an accommodation type. So you have 4 packages and for each package, you have 20 availability. And you will use HBook automatic blockings to adjust the availability (since you have 20 beds and not 80). So when someone books Package A for 1 person, there is 1 Package B, C and D that is automatically blocked.

Hi Celine, thanks for your message. Yes, you are correct, rooms are shared.
I’m not sure your suggested approach would work since there are 20 beds in total, so each package doesn’t have 20 availability, the total number of people that can stay in the surfcamp at once is 20. So dor example, one week maybe 5 people will book Package A, 10 people will book package B, 2 people will book Package C, and 3 people will book package D and the plugin needs to be smart not to allow more than 20 people to book in the same week.
Also, the price for each package is per week per person, price should change based on a number of weeks a person books too.
Do you think the plugin would work in this scenario?

Yes, this is exactly what I mentioned with the automatic blockings. It will work nicely actually.
You set 20 units of each package. So, you have 80 units (I know this is not correct and that you have a max of 20 at the same time…). But, you set as well the automatic blockings, which means that each time 1 package is booked, 3 are blocked.
When someone books Package A for 1 person, there is 1 Package B, C and D that is automatically blocked. When someone books Package B for 1 person, there is 1 Package A, C and D that is automatically blocked. And so on… By doing so, you have the flexibilty you need, the clarify for your visitors (as they are shown with the packages to pick from) and the correct availability (never more than 20 persons at a time).

For example a couple want to make a booking for a week in a surfcamp. But one wants to book package A (for beginners) and another person wants package B (for advanced).

Since your packages are per person, you will set that each package has a “Normal capacity” and “Maximum capacity” of 1. You will enable “Multiple accommodation booking”. You keep the field “Adults”, but rename it “Number of persons” or ” Number of packages”. You can modify any text displayed by HBook, so you can customize this to your project. You probably won’t need the “Children” field, so you can disable it.
Let’s say a couple wish to book, they will enter their dates and indicates that they are 2 persons and they will select 2 packages in the results. One can pick Package A and the other Package B. All fine.

I see that the columns that present each accomodation type are not built using our “Accommodation list” shortcode/element, but are built with fusion builder. All fine, but since you include the availability calendar, you should set a minimum width to the columns at 290px (width of 1-month calendar). This will solve your overlapping issue.

I want to install the HBook plugin on a client’s site, but the site I’m working on for that client is not on the final domain. It will only migrate to the final domain when everything is fully functional.

You can use one license of HBook plugin for one test/dev site and the matching live site. So, this is all fine!
If you have validated HBook licence for a website but you don’t need it anymore on this website, you can remove the license for a site in HBook > License. This will be what you can do if you need several dev staging sites or if you finally don’t use HBook on this website but wish to use the licence for a different project.

Hi, I have two question. I have two whole house to rent out. Can i manage both houses with this at the same time? Also we have minimum 3 days stay and i want the available days shown on the calendar from the checkout day of the previous client. I mean, if there is a booking from 10th to 13th, I want the next client to book from 13th to 16th. not from 14th or 15th, so this way i have less gaps. is there such option? This two houses quite busy and I want to make the most out of the days if that makes sense. I heard the bigger hotel booking systems works this way. many thanks

Thank you. Just an other question:) Normally we allow min 3nights stay, but if there is a 2night gap or they really can just come for two nights, they can stay for extra fee. Is there an option to allow them to book only for two nights but then extra fee should be added automatically to the total price? Thank you

You will be able to create a season with “Priority” status for these spare dates, and set the rate (with the extra fee) and booking rules (2 nights min stay). Whenever you have a gap, you can include these dates within this season.
This would be the way to proceed, as there is no setting as such in HBook to modify rates/rules when there are orphan dates between 2 stays.

Regarding your second question, it can be used in other projects than the hospitality sector (hotel/B&B/villas/flats/camping…), as long as it respects the rule of 1 night minimum between check-in and check-out. So, if it is for tours that are for half-day, it will not work. But if it is with minimum 2 days (1 night), then yes HBook can be a solution for this project.
We have customers who use HBook for pet boarding, car/van rentals, parking spaces rentals, beach equipments rentals, storage box rentals…

Thank you for your interest in our online booking system HBook plugin.
There are two possible ways of achieving this, depending on your project.
On a single WordPress installation
If your project is for owners that have a couple of accommodation only (for example your project is for a group of holiday homes owners, who wish to be listed under a same website), you could use a single WordPress installation. This is a suitable solution if :
- all accommodation types (in my example, all holiday homes) share the same seasons. Prices can vary, sure! But seasons apply to all accommodation types, so they can not be different for Holiday home A and Holiday home B.
- the reservations and HBook settings are managed only by admins. They will have access to all accommodation types settings (so, in my example, all holiday homes) and all reservations.
You will decide how communication with owners is managed and who manages what, but keep in mind that the admin access is for the entire HBook, so you can not have owners of Holiday home A having access only to Holiday home A settings and reservations. If it is only to consult reservations, you can use a calendar tool (OneCalendar, etc,) and use the ical sync.
On a multisite WordPress installation
If you wish to have only one booking system that is accessed by several accommodation providers who manage only their accommodations, this is not possible with HBook on a single WordPress install. Someone who can manage reservations with HBook has access to all reservations, and not only for example those of his accommodation types.
You would need to work in a multi-site environment with your main site and sub-sites. This is one single domain (ex : mywebsite.com) and you can choose if you prefer subdomains (hotel1.mydomain.com) or sub-repertory (mydomain.com/hotel1). Each owner has a sub-site with their HBook booking system, and your main site has all accommodation types from all accommodation providers.
If you wish to give full management to each owner (managing the description and settings for their accommodation types, managing reservations, getting paid directly on their account for the reservation received, etc…), you will have the actual booking process happening on the sub-site. The flow is as follows :
- visitor visits your main site, mywebsite.com. This is where your clients can view the various options for their stay, check global availability (across all hotels), get general information…
- to book, they will click on a link/button that will redirect them to the corresponding sub-site (mywebsite.com/hotel2 for example)
- you can have for each subsite a copy of your main site pages, so the visitor don’t even realize that he moved to a sub-site, or you can choose to have for each sub-site a different atmosphere/design to highlight each hotel specificity. This is up to you!
- on the sub-site, booking process happens
- thanks to ical sync, the main site will pull the new reservation, which means that availability will be updated on your main site too
If you wish to manage from the main site all accommodation types, settings, descriptions, payments, reservations/add unavailable dates and manage the booking system settings (you will access to each owner’s hotel and bookings), you will have the booking process on your main site.
Please note that you would need one license per sub-site, be it in subdomains or sub-repertories.
