In general it works with Avava theme but filtering does not depend from a theme but rather from your site data and correctly configuring of the plugin.

Possible reasons of problems with filtering are:
- Wrong WP_Query selected in the “And what to filter?” field of the Filter Set. Please try to experiment with different WP_Queries in the dropdown.
- Cache issue (WP_Query is cached). You have to check and maybe disable your cache plugins or modules in your hosting provider dashboard.
- AJAX enabled but wrong value for CSS id or class of the Posts Container specified. Please, disable the AJAX feature, until you will ensure that filtering works in general.

If you see message “No WP Queries matched to the post type [custom post type name] found on the page” it means one of two things:

1) On the page you selected in the “Where to filter?” field there is no WP_Query related with selected in Filter Set Post type.

2) You selected wrong page in the “Where to filter?” field. For example your blog page can be selected in two ways – as “Common WordPress pages” -> “Blog page” and as “Pages” -> “Blog page”. The same can be for Homepage etc. Please, try to experiment with different pages in this field.

It seems you have theme or plugin that caches WP_Query and this is the reason, why filtering work from time to time.

But I did not understand this your question “Furthermore I set a category items to show before to use the filter but, when I choose the filter, the result does’t change, it shows always the item category I set. Why?”

Please, write the question in another way. Wha do you mean “I set a category items?” Technically you can not predefine any filter and make it selected. But if you place Filters widget on a category page and open this page, appropriated filter will be selected by default. Hi Stepasyuk, I have my page with 2 widget: one is for show the agent list and the second is for you filter. In the first widget (list of agents that I want to filter) I can set if show some category or not. If I don’t set the category for my agent, it shows the agents without a initial rule and the filter works; if I choose a specific category for my agents for begin with theese specific agents and only after I choose the filter, the filter widget doesn’t works. It doesn’t filter the agents and it continue to show the initial category that I choose in the widget of agents.

Sorry for the late response. I checked your site and realized that all works fine. If you do not select any category in your agents widget it allows you to select a category in the “categoria” filter. If you select any cateogry in the agents widget, it allows you to select “servizio”, but the “categoria” filter contains only one the selected in the agents widget and it is expected behavior.

FYI filtering is process of narrowing of posts that you see on the page before filtering. In other words you can not add new posts, but only narrow posts list with selected criteria. So if you have posts from only one category, you can not add posts from another category.

BTW, after you change settings in your agents widget, please update your Filter Set to allow it to filter correctly updated WP_Query.

Scrap that. My apologies I had a filter in my functions.php from when I was playing around with the Lite version. Deleted this and the issue is resolved.

I checked your site and I’m not sure I understand you clear. I tried to select another Product categories in sidebar menu (above Filters widget) and on every page I see different filter attributes.

Thank you for your credentials. I checked your site and it looks like you have 3rd party plugin compatibility issue. Some of your plugins or custom code affects on the Filter Set saving process and generates this error when all filters disappear and Filter Set get Draft status.

I recommend you to create DB backup, deactivate plugins one by one to find what exactly affects on Filter Everything.

In general it should support Custom Fields that contains numeric data. But if this data is another or maybe serialized it may not work. Can you please provide me with example of data stored in the Custom field you specified in range filters?

I recommend you to install PhpMyAdmin WordPress plugin and check the data in it.

Since the field type was repeater the field name was a lot longer than only the meta key. So it was “teknisk_spec_0_typ_av_drivdon” instead of just “typ_av_drivdon”. Hopefully this helps anyone else with the same issue.

i found that the issue is come form polylang, after disable it , the filter pagination is working again with the post widget , as we plan to change to wpml, Case closed , just if other people have same issue or you want to fix it , it is one of the info,

If you want to specify some SEO data and sorting on the page, where filter is not applied yet, it can be done via SEO plugins like Yoast SEO, All in One SEO Pack etc. And sorting by defalt can be achieved via WordPress hooks (requires coding a bit).

But if you want to achieve this on the page with applied filter, you can specify appopriate SEO Rule in Filter Everything and you can put in your Main menu or in Sidebar link with pre-defined URL parameters that related with desired filter and desired sorting option.

Here is example of such URL on demo site – https://demo.filtereverything.pro/product-category/clothing/women/color-black/c-kind-dress/?max_price=250&ordr=price

You can see here sorting parameter ordr=price and filters /color-black/c-kind-dress/?max_price=25

Hi Stepasyuk, thanks, I was kind of hoping it would be possible to edit the SEO data of the first page archive in the same place as the others. This is where the SEO Rules in your plugin work perfectly. Title, meta, description, H1, all multilingual, simple perfection. To do this differently, I have to write something in yoast, something in polylang, and code something in php. I’m just comfortable . God forbid that the editor then edits it . Anyway, thanks for the direction.

It is expected behavior. If you want to get only products that have “In stock” status of their variations, you have to create filter by Stock status and enable “Use for Variations” checkbox in it.

In this case visitor will have ability to choose “In stock” filter in addition to other selected fitlers.

I would be glad to help you with this, but it is something out of the item support scope here on CodeCanyon. This parameter is not related with Filter Everything PRO plugin and it seems was added by 3rd party plugin or custom code.

In general you can set range filters one by one. Every time after you select a term, filter will load new results. If you want to use it in Apply button mode (to select several values and then click Apply button – example) please activate this mode in the Filter Set.
