I’m experiencing a recurring issue with the Bookly Special Days (Add-on) on my WordPress site (version 5.1). The plugin repeatedly loses its license key, which results in it becoming non-functional until I manually re-enter the key.

This is causing disruptions on the site and affecting functionality for users who depend on the special days feature. I’ve verified that the license key is valid, and there are no apparent conflicts with other plugins or themes.

Could you please advise on: Why the license key might not be persisting? Whether this is a known issue with version 5.1 of WordPress? Any recommended steps to resolve this permanently?

Hi Nota-info, I have just purchased the “Bookly Special Days Add-on”. I have downloaded it and unpacked the main zip (codecanyon-PshE90LB-bookly-special-days-addon.zip) wich contains the “bookly-addon-special-days.zip”. When I upload this under word-press plugins it says “The plugin does not contain any data”. I forwarded this to my IT service and they had the same error. Can you please check if your file is corrupt or if you haver any idea how we could troubleshoot this issue?

Hi, I am a small business owner using Bookly to take orders. My single service time is 1hr and half, and I provide 4 times of service per staff per day. But sometimes I would like to block a specific time period for all of my staff. For expamle, I do want to close my business on next Monday from 1PM-3PM, but open after until midnight. Too meet the requirement, I have been looking for addons which allow me to set a global special day for all of my crew.

I tried Service-schedule that only allow me to set block a period time for all of my crew on a weekday, which I have to block that time period for all Monday. I then found your addon, the special day and specific time period setting is perfect for me. However I have to set it multiple times, one by one for all of my crews.

Is there any way to globally set a special day for all of my crew by a one time operate? Like edit for all? Please advise. Thank you!

You’ve got some great options to fine-tune your booking schedule, and it’s all doable when you have both the Bookly Special Days Add-on and the Bookly Service Schedule Add-on installed.

Here’s the lowdown:

The Bookly Special Days Add-on https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/212817929-Special-Days-Add-on is your go-to for customizing schedules, including breaks that are different from the default working hours and days. You can do this for individual staff members. The beauty is that this shift on special days won’t just affect one staff member, it’ll apply to all staff members’ services.

On the flip side, the Bookly Service Schedule Add-on https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/213850385-Services-Available-at-Limited-Hours-Service-Schedule-Add-on lets you get super specific with your service hours. You can limit the hours when each service is available, and this one’s service-specific. It works in harmony with your staff’s working hours, creating an overlap. This means there’s an interval within each staff member’s day when a specific service can be provided. You can set this up as a one-time interval for each day of the week, including breaks during the day. So, it’s all about specifying when services are available.

Now, when you have both of these add-ons in play, you can override standard working hours for particular dates on your calendar. Tweak the days and hours when individual services are up for booking. This is different from the Standard Special Days functionality, which applies changes to the entire staff member’s schedule and all their services. With these add-ons, you can even make a service completely unavailable for booking on certain days or set it to “OFF” in the time selection dropdown. Or, if you prefer, make the service “OFF” every day except for those special days.

Please could you help revoke all current use of the plugin? I believe my freelance developer had downloaded the plugin and if so it is very likely that are using it.

In this project I have only created a single employee. All services are provided from Monday to Friday, but there is another service that is only the third weekend of each month. How do I do it? Do I have to create a new employee for the weekend?

For 2 of those services you will be able to set schedule from Monday to Friday in the Schedule tab. For 3rd service, you will need to set it up manually by adding each day when the service will be available for booking in the Special Days tab.

Hi There i currently have bookly pro + mollie add-on. Im really happy with it but my customer has a lot of changing schedules per season. I looked at the addon for special days but this will create single items. Is there a way to do this with your plugin?

Thank you for your message.

The purpose of this add-on is to allow to add days with a different schedule that will override the weekly schedule, for special occasions when the staff members will work differently than usual. You can also use the add-on a bit differently, for example is the staff member has limited availability, you could disable the weekly and just days when he will be working.

Hey, after installing Bookly Special Days, there are all days visible in Booksy calendar to pick up a date. Is there a option to show only special days?

Special Days will override the weekly schedule and the availability will be displayed in the back-end calendar. If you would like to see only the availability for Special Days, you will need to disable totally the weekly schedule (by setting all days to “Off”).

Adding to this: the plugin does not seem to work at all. The “Add special day” button shows up in individual staff members and services (as it’s combined with the service schedule plugin) but nothing happens when I select a date or date range and press “save”.
