We have a social club with members across North America. We are looking for a password-protected directory of members with photos that can be sorted by general locations, sub-groups, and other custom fields. This all seems straightforward, except: 1. We do not want to show exact addresses on a map. However, we do want a general map that shows locations by city and/or zip code. 2. The club managers want to store all membership information in one place, so we would need to add hidden fields (date joined, active/inactive, special membership status, date special membership status, etc.) that are only accessible by group leaders. And those group leaders should be able to filter by the hidden fields and the public ones. Does you plugin have this functionality?

Is this a theme or a plugin? I do not want to overwrite my existing theme, I just want a directory plugin that I can use within my theme

Hi Aktar. Small thing, I’ve managed to edit the single-directories.php file but I have 2 social icons for Facebook and LinkedIn. I see in the php file there are also YT and IG. How can I just have these 3 profiles showing – FB, IG, YT? Thanks again for all your help.

The image that appears in the map, is the one the user uploads when he creates the listing?

IS this plugin compatible with any theme? Or it includes a theme?

2. My importing of the directories is not working at all. Please help. I have imported demo listings which appeared, then I downloaded sample CSV, then have changed and added to that CSV then uploaded it – but none of the new info is going into the plugin.

I have installed through envato elements, and thought the shortocodes that you provide were pretty comprehensive, but there is one I need and wondering if you will be adding in the future. I need a shortcode (for both Directory Pro and Realestate Pro) such as [listing_filter owner=”123”] or [listing_filter post_ids=”1,3”], unless there is another way to display a particular agent/users listings on a particular page (for example a suburb information page). Also, am I going to have a problem in the future running directory pro and realestate pro on the same website ? such as shortcode problems ? Thanks heaps

Hello, I recently took over a existing website and migrated it to a different host. Now the existing directory pro plug in has stopped listing their directory. Everything else still seems to be in place as far as the customer list. New to the plug in and trying to figure out what has changed that causing it to not display.. Just installed the plugin, and when changing the directory URL from “Directories” to “Directory”, the new URL is not showing any data, not giving 404 either .. Have changed the permalink as you mentioned in the documentation.

Hello, we have your Directories Pro plugin running on a client site, and the search feature isn’t working, and/or behaving oddly. We have active support for this, but we’ve exhausted every possible attempt to fix it ourselves and nothing seems to work.

Hello, we have a problem with your plugin,, unfortunately, although the users have a valid package, they can not post listings. The mask appears and also the fields can be filled in, but after clicking the “Save Post” button the listing is not saved, not even in the backend. Listings that have already been created cannot be changed by users either. What can this be due to. No error message appears. To add: We recently renamed the “My Account page” as we also have WooCommerce installed (as you have described in your howdos ) and this page is also called “My Account”. The page is still around payment test mode. Does a user still need to be unlocked somewhere else even though they are already listed as “Acitve” in the Mebership level? A quick answer and support would be helpful.
