Yes you can. It works based on permissions.
Login using admin@gmail.com(super admin) go to admin area(right side nav) where you can create User with specific permissions.

Above feature is not available. Customization is required to send email on open/read file.
Sir how much effort will be to replace file viewer with collabora online or nextcloud office, editor/viewer ? im familiar and at home when it comes to Angular. You could turn this into a collab just by making doc editable, and adding a listview of IMAP sync’d inbox

i saw ur comments below i just want to mention that Collabora (LibreOffice) online is open source solution, but also the best editor of any word doc//xls/ppt/draw (visio) , can even open and convert EPUB to multiple format, and OCR on image & pdf. IDK how itheir “definition” for open source is or caveats in their license, but they do have a commercial version, so it might be tricky. But still, even if,there would not be any real issue if u just included package.json ref for enduser to dl and compile themself.
But if u wanted to make ur own, then all office formats have free libraries (in php that i know of,) for writing format from scratch or edit existing, but the challenge would be to add a nice canvas GUI with controls, but FABRIC is the way to go here.. Postermywall is good case study for Fabric

Getting to the Solution Explorer of YourDrive, the ClientApp folder could not accessed. What do I do to access it????
There are two part in the application. Frontend in angular and Rest API in .Net 6. You need to open Angular folder in the visual studio code for frontend. If you want to publish both frontend and backend on same domain then you need to build angular project and it will create dist folder. Inside dist/yourdrive folder, You have to copy file and folder and paste into ClientApp after rest API Publish.

Okay, please update. When Admin is adding a new user, one cannot scroll to see the second row of permissions and the Save or Cancel buttons. I have to shrink the browser to 80% view on my laptop.

Script is not for hosting. It can be used to manage your files and folder and can be shared to other system user. Can case you want to use this script in your mobile app then you need to integrate REST API.

Hi. Admin. I would love to buy this script to host my private and business files. However, I have some very important questions that you need to answer before i purchase.
1. I hope i can safely store my passwords and all my private files with this script without getting hacked? Security is a major concern when it comes to file storage online, I hope uploaded files would be highly encrypt and not visible to search engine or not visible to third party on the server such as hired developers?
2. Also, I read it somewhere on your script description that uploaded files are visible to Admin. Well, to me this is a wrong practice because user files are supposed to be private and accessible by only the user and not supposed to be visible to Admin. What do you have to say about this?
3. I noticed that the search bar is not present on the mobile version of the script, could you please allow search for mobile site?
4. What is the cost for you to add features like “Create Notes” “Create Phone contacts” “Create Weblinks”? The Notes module, and the contact module is very important and should be included on the script. User can create, edit and save notes in realtime just like icloud notes. Please let me know how much you would charge to add those module.
5. What is the recommended hosting for this script? Can I host this script on a shared hosting server? Please let me know. Thanks.

1) Password and files both are store with encrypted form with secure algorithm. It is not possible to hacked. Account is password protected so search engine is not crawling website. Files are not showing in any search engine.
2) Admin can’t see user uploaded files however admin have right to login into any users account but if you don’t need this feature then we can removed it. And also admin can set various permissions to users like only allow to see the files, download, remove etc.
3) We will add search feature in mobile as well.

5) You can host it on window server shared hosting. If it is linux then It is required standard user account with sudo privileges. Most of linux shared hosting are not provide sudo privileges so you have to VPS plan or dedicated linux server.
