For mij datatables website i need a clean theme like the one you (created) used on https://sandbox.wpdatatables.com/ , or better the light version as used for the documentation pages. I see the theme is called “wpdatatables-theme”. Is it possible to get a copy of this template? I also have visual composer. I am willing to pay for it, please let me know!

Unfortunately, this is a custom-made theme, and it’s currently not for sale. We’ll recommend this to our management, but we can’t promise anything.
We’re sure there are other similar themes out there, but since we don’t manage themes and only check major themes for compatibitily, we can’t recommend any.

I have a dataset of geojscon files total about 14K entries. Site user will be given a search function on a few parameters of this dataset. Search results be visualized in form of a paginated table of 10~20 entries each… What is the best (efficient in table page load speed) option to format the files as data source? They combined file size is about 100MB in geojson format.

Server-side (manual, MySQL and imported) tables are the only approach in larger tables (tables with over 2.000 – 3.000 entries), so we can recommend using MySQL query-based tables for this.

We created the table connecting to SQL with 14K easily. Thanks for your software. But we come across a problem. Both search/filter functions are not working. What does the new feature for Version 4.4 mean? Feature: Added options for responsive actions – icon, row or cell. I changed it to Row and Cell but didn’t see any difference

This is in regard to the Responsiveness feature functionality. Previously, you needed to click on a ”+” icon to expand a row on mobiles and tablets, and now you can configure it so the collapsed rows expand on cell or row click.

wpDataTables currently has integration add-ons for Gravity Forms, Formidable Forms, and Forminator Forms. No Form plugin can work with wpDataTables without an integration add-on.
If you need to create a custom solution that would pull the info of front-end logged-in users, you would need to create a custom MySQL query based table that would query the database and display the data you need.
Please note that creating custom queries is not included in the provided support for the plugin.

Unfortunately, adding images to charts is not possible. You can use images as backgrounds of charts and bars if you go for the Apex Chart Engine, but that’s it.

In the “Editing” tab you can enable “In-line editing” and “Popover edit block”. The in-line editing would allow you to edit the data by double clicking on a cell while the popover edit block would display those buttons right above the row when the row is clicked.

Hello,
I have created a table connected to an external source (MySQL). Server-side processing is enabled with some refreshing intervals and everything works like a charm. But, when some column on an external source is deleted I still have the column name in the table with empty cells. This column is visible until I open the table and save it again. Also, the same situation is when the source table has a new column. This is a problem because I have a couple of hundreds of tables and manual saving every table takes a long time. Your plugin is great but without real synchronization of all data is not useful for me. I didn’t find any solution to avoid this, can you give me some direction on how to solve this.

This can happen with tables linked to external sources like Excel, CSV, Google Spreadsheet, XML, PHP, and JSON, but not with MySQL query-based tables.
Which queries are you using? If you’re using SELECT * FROM, the table would load the data on page refresh, and there’d be no need to re-save the table. We are not able to replicate the issue you’re describing.

Hello dear TMS team, I have just newly created a simple table. But even with the ‘responsive’ option checked, the table does not show up rows in a correct order. So , the table is not understandable on a mobile device display. This issue only happens with this new simple table option. Not with other charts or wpdatatables. Is there a documentation link that I can chack about how to fix that? 1. You can create a table with all the data you need, and use the filters to search through the table. In order for the table to be hidden before filtering is applied, you would need to also purchase our add-on Powerful Filters. 2. This is not possible with wpDataTables. As mentioned under #1 – you can use filters, but they are dependent on the columns that you have in the table, so each filter would look through the column it’s generated for. 3. You should be able to achieve this fairly easily. Merged columns are not supported in wpDataTables that have filtering, but you can use HTML editing or multi-line string columns in order to get the bullet points.

Try opening one of the drop-down menus in wpDataTables settings. If they don’t work either, you have a conflict with some other plugin’s Bootstrap.js files.
Try disabling the “Bootstrap” check box in wpDataTables Settings, save and see if that works.

Thanks for your reply. Drop-down menus work fine on my side and I disabled the “Bootstrap check box” but creating button not working. Beside the problem on my site, even on your demo site; creating a table button is not working. It could be my personal computer problem or be one of a database or php version compatibility?

we know – the Licence expired – we want to buy a new one for a client. But we have the same Problem on another Clients Website, where there is the 4.1 Version running. As in the Subject described – there occurred an error, when we want to open the “Featured Image” modal Window (Media Library), after put in a datatable block.
