is there a way to import an excel sheet with words and descriptions?
You can use any plugin which allows you to import the posts for a custom post and the same should work for this plugin too. I have heard a lot from my buyers about the plugin “WP All Import” and “WP All Export” plugins as they have used it a lot so you can give these plugins a try too. Thanks!
another question, I am using the plugin on a test environment, once I am done, can the content easily be exported into a different site if I install the plugin on a different domain?

1. Once you have activated the plugin, very first you need to create terms under the “Glossary” menu in the backend panel.
2. Next, go to the “Settings” page under the same menu and do the required setup as per your need.
3. Now you need to use [wpg_list] shortcode anywhere you want to show a list of those terms in grid way like my live preview website does.

And sorry, I don’t have any dummy content for import. However, you can try any faker plugin which allows you to create posts under a custom post type and the same should work for this plugin too.

You can disable auto linkifier from these HTML tags and it will auto disable tooltips too for them. For this, if you go to Settings sub menu under Glossary menu, you will find a tab saying “Glossary Linkify” Under this tab, there is an option “HTML Tags to Exclude” which allows you to mention comma separated multiple tags which you want to exclude from being auto linkified.

Hi, thanks for a great plugin.
I’m trying to display both alphabet and category view on the same page (in a tabbed interface).
But using the shortcode [wpg_list template=”category”] results in alphabet view showing in both tabs. Am I doing it wrong?

Are you talking about the shortcode here? If you login to the backend panel and click on “Glossary” menu, you will find a sub menu called “User Guide”. Under this menu, you will find all the details about the shortcode which you can embed on any page.

Yes, you can create your own index in any language. If you visit the plugin based Settings page and look for the option “Alphabet Set”, there you can type your own set of alphabets. Give it a try and let me know if you face any difficulty with it.

When using Linkify Tags it seems to prioritize one word definitions over multiple word definitions. For example, even if I have “Mutation Event” and “Mutation” as separate tags it will only ever link the first half of the phrase “Mutation Event” as the single word synonym seems to take precedence. Is this intentional?
Curiously enough, it WILL correctly Linkify the plural “Mutation Events,” however.

Hello Great plugin! I love it. I had already bought it in 2020, but unfortunately, I only got to try it out now. I have a question: In the settings I checked: Open links in “New Tab”, but unfortunately the link opens in the same tab when you click on the “Read more” link (tooltip). This is particularly not ideal for pages. Is there another setting for this, or a tutorial on how this can be changed? Thank you very much!
