Still no front end posting solution?
Hi there,
Thanks for your interest in this plugin. There is no existing feature to post from the frontend until you try any custom plugin which allows you to do the postings from the frontend for a custom post type.
Thanks, WP Instinct Team
hello and hope you are doing good, The plugin looks not updated for long time, so is it supported for PHP8.0 Thank you and regards,
Hi there,
Thanks for purchasing this plugin. I would be happy to help you.
This plugin works fine with the latest version of WordPress and PHP. You should give it a try. In case you face any issues, just let me know and I would be happy to fix.
Thanks, WP Instinct Team
Hello, do you have an import / export function? Thx and best regards
Hi there,
Thanks for your intestest in this plugin. I would be happy to assist you.
This plugin doesn’t come with an existing import/export feature. However, this plugin is based on a custom post type, so you can try any plugin which allows you to import/export the posts under a custom post type. The same should work fine with this plugin too. I have heard a lot about “WP All Import” and “WP All Export” plugins so you can try these plugins as well.
Thanks, WP Instinct Team
Hello, just bought your plugin and now I’m wondering if it is possible to open term in a lightbox (overlay) instead of new page? Thanks in advance!
Hi there,
Thanks for purchasing this plugin. I would be happy to help you.
For showing page content in a popup over a new page, it would require some customization which will cost you a few additional charges. Please contact me at wpinstinct@gmail.com if you want to discuss it further.
Thanks, WP Instinct Team
Oh okay, was hoping this would be possible out of the box
One more question please, is it possible to show prev/next links, or does this also require customization?
Kind regards René
Showing prev/next links on glossary term details page, it depends on your theme the most. If your theme is already showing these links for other post types, then it should work for my plugin too without any custom work required.
In case your theme doesn’t show these links for any post type, then it would require some custom work.
Thanks!
Theme is Impreza and supports this next/prev links. Unfortunately this doesn’t work correct. (Shows entries in the order they were created instead of alphabetic order ♂️).
Also getting JS errors if tooltip is activated: Uncaught TypeError: e.indexOf is not a function
PS contacted you already via email.
Sent you a reply. Thanks!
And about the prev/next links as they are showing the posts as those were created, the same should be working for other post types too. For changing the order from creation date to alphabetically, I have to see if they provide an action hook/filter for this. I have requested some details in the email so please check and share.
For the custom post type list, is it possible to show a featured image and a text field beside the title. For example if you have a a-z listing of keynote speakers, I would need to show their name, excerpt and profile picture of the custom post type
Hi there,
Thanks for your interest in this plugin. I would be happy to assist you.
For showing additional information/image for each term on the Glossary Index page, it would require some custom solution which will cost you a few additional charges.
Please contact me at wpinstinct@gmail.com if you want to discuss it further.

Hi,
When I add glossary term. Is just showing like a post.
How to achieve alphabet glossary and category glossary.
There suppose to be a video work through.
I want to add dental glossary and other medical glossary. Other medical glossary we fall under category glossary.
In the dental glossary, I will be publishing the term one by one?
And how to add it to menu so that user can click through as well.
Also, the linkify I don’t know how to use it too.
Your help is highly appreciated.
Hi there,
Thanks for purchasing this plugin. I would be happy to help you.
In the backend panel, under the “Glossary” menu, you will find a sub menu called “User Guide” which can help you to know more about how to use this plugin. Still, let me try to help you here:
1. Once you create a few glossary terms, now create a new page or edit an existing one on which you want to show an alphabet glossary.
2. On this page, use the shortcode: [wpg_list]
3. Now view the same page on the frontend and you should be able to see an alphabet glossary there.
Next about adding glossary terms one by one, you can use any WordPress plugin which allows you to import posts for a custom post type and the same should work for this plugin too. I would suggest you use the “WP All Import” plugin.
Please let me know if you still face any issue.
Thanks, WP Instinct Team
When I add the shorcode it brings out 503 service not available
Your plugin is not compatible with most themes and server. Please issue a refund from your end.
Have deactivated the plugin and deleted it. Before it causes any more issues
Please provide me your email ID where I can contact you. Thanks!
Sent you a reply, please check. Thanks!
Have replied to your message
Thanks!
Hi is there a shortcode for single item?
Hi there,
Thanks for purchasing this plugin. I would be happy to help you.
Can you please explain what you mean from “Single Item” here? I couldn’t understand exactly what you are looking for?
Thanks, WP Instinct Team
If I understood it correctly, you are looking for a shortcode to display alphabet glossary on a page. You can find it in the backend under menu “Glossary > User Guide”. Still, for making it easy for you, I am sending it here as well: [wpg_list]
Thanks!
Hi, plugin don’t works with WPfile Download. I have disabled it on the page settings but it was not enough.

Hello,
The links “Previous Post” and “Next Post” on the item page are NOT alphabetical sorted.
How can I get an alphabetical order?
Thank you ver much for your help.
Best regards,
Thomas
Hi there,
Thanks for purchasing this plugin. I would be happy to help you.
The prev/next link navigation should be a feature of your existing theme and doesn’t belong to this plugin. It should be working in the same way it does for other blog posts on your website.
You should contact one your theme developer for it and you can take me to the loop if you want. This is my email ID: wpinstinct@gmail.com
Thanks, WP Instinct Team
Dear Team Unfortunately, the glossary does not work as usual. When I move the mouse over the term (underlined) a small box should show the explanation. This does not work now. I have no single view of the term, only with the roll-over effect with the mouse. What do I have to do to make it work again? Thank you very much, Maxrodion

As this plugin comes with its own shortcode so I don’t see any problem using it with the Elementor. Still if you face any issue, just contact me and I will be here for your help. You can contact me at wpinstinct@gmail.com

Hi, does your Plugin support Multilingual Websites built with WPML? best regards, Martin
Hi Martin,
Thanks for your interest in this plugin. I would be happy to assist you.
This plugin is based on a custom post type so yes, it supports WPML too. Still, if you face any issues, just let me know and I would be happy to help.

the plugin does not deliver any links in the source code, so that the page cannot really be spidered by the search engine bots. What can you do or how can you change that?
Hi there,
Thanks for purchasing this plugin. I would be happy to help you.
Can you please showme where it doesn’t deliver links in the source code? You can share a few screenshot at this email ID: wpinstinct@gmail.com
Thanks, WP Instinct Team
I can’t find anything in the source code, maybe the page https://www.heilpflanze-lexikon.com/lexikon/ will help you, because the plugin does not provide any links in the source code, so the page is not really spidered by the search engine bots can be. Ask for information on how to change that
If I try to open your shared URL, it shows me this error: Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site.. Please share the correct URL with me so that I can look into it and provide you a possible solution. Thanks!
Can I just confirm before purchasing that it can draw an A-Z list of titles from a custom post type? – I need to be able to create an A-Z like this… https://www.stepintothenhs.nhs.uk/careers but with a sortable alphabet at the top
Hi there,
Thanks for your interest in this plugin. I would be happy to assist you.
Yes, this plugin allows you to use your existing/custom post type as well to list their posts in the glossary ( A-Z Listing ) format. You can purchase this plugin and give it a try. If it doesn’t work, I would be here for your help.
Thanks, WP Instinct Team
I just bought your Glossary Plugin an have I question.
Firstly I created terms manually as described on the plugins manual. This results in an ugly problem. It not only shows the term in the glossary list, but also a Link.
It looks like this: Ableton Live “ href=“https://music-tutorials.com/glossar/ableton-live/“ >Ableton Live
It only shall show the words “Ableton Live”* My question: How can I do it right, so that the link isn to shown in the list?

Hi, your plugin is fantastic and has helped me to solved a lot of problem! I have a question: it is possible to include more than one taxonomy in the same glossary? I would like to have a glossary that shows items from a category plus other items from a specific post tag.
My purchase code is: a3d7ec55-10e0-42b5-af7a-3326166b069b
Thank you for the attention!
Hi there,
Thanks for purchasing this plugin. I would be happy to help you.
It’s not possible to make a glossary with a combination of more than one taxonomy and would require some customization in order to let it work.
Thanks, WP Instinct Team
Hi, as i see in your demo the search is only for terms and not content, is there a way to have search in content and terms? thank’s
Hi there,
Thanks for using this plugin. I would be happy to help you.
Its not possible to make the search compatible with the content also as it can slow down the page speed a lot.
Thanks, WP Instinct Team
Hello – I have a public profile form where people can submit their profile to be added to the website through a front-end Gravity Form. When people fill out this form, some of the bios contain code littered with tooltip div and class html. This makes it very hard for us to use this content. I’ve disabled the WP Glossary features on that particular page, but the entries still contain all of this code. Do you know why it is doing this and if there is any way around this? Here is the page where I’m collecting the forms:

Hi there,
Thanks for purchasing this plugin. I would be happy to help you.
Are you facing this issue only with gravity form entries while you check those in the backend? Please provide me your website’s FTP and Admin credentials at wpinstinct@gmail.com so that I can check for the reason and fix it.
Thanks, WP Instinct Team
