Please make sure that you’re being logged in with WordPress user account that is linked with a Bookly customer record. You can do it manually in Customers -> edit a customer -> User field -> choose the account with which you’re logged in. If you would like new customers to have automatically WP user accounts then follow this guide: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/360005099314-Customer-Cabinet-Add-on

Regarding WP panel, users that don’t fill the correct credentials will be automatically redirected to it. This is expected behavior in WordPress. You will need to check for third-party plugins that will change/restrict this redirect action.

Hi there! Is there a way for users to use either single sign on or authenticate their account through my Caspio (where my backend is set up), or have no authentication required to use the customer cabinet? I want to avoid having my users log in once to access the backend elements and then again for the bookings. Could you make a suggestion regarding this? Thank you!!

Not quite sure that understood you correctly. If your customer role is subscriber, there will be no option to see your backend settings.

Hi,

In the page the customer cabinet shortcode is embedded, a message “You are not permitted to have this content displayed” appears(I am not sure what exactly the original English message is since it is translated), although the user is a registered WP user and already has appointments.

Is there any possible misconfigurations?

You can generate a login form by adding the appointment list/customer cabinet shortcode on a page. The cabinet provides the option for customers to view their booked appointments, cancel and reschedule them and also makes changes to the customer record in Bookly. Custom fields will be displayed in Customer cabinet section: http://joxi.ru/Q2KRepYCOwkWRm but there is no option to display the files. You can check them in your WP admin panel only.

Hello, I have TWO problems with Customer Cabinet: 1-When I activate it to try, I click on cancel appointment, and it is not cancelled. 2- When I click to Reschedule the appointment and after selecting a new date and time that I confirm, then a new appointment is created but my last appointment is still there and is not cancelled! (I have the WP user registration active also.). Could you please help

I’m afraid gift card isn’t supported yet. As a workaround, please check if the Bookly Coupons Add-on: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003939373-Coupons-Add-on will work for this requirement.

It allows you to offer your clients promotional codes to pay for the service at a reduced price so your clients will be able to apply a coupon code at the payment step of the booking process. Kindly note that coupons created via Bookly won’t work if you use WooCommerce.

Hey guys, is it possible to remove “employee” from the filter section? We use “employee” to define rooms for our recording rooms, so seeing employee is a bit odd. :-)

To support our use case, we had to use Bookly’s “staff members” section to list the available rooms customers can hire. For each room we’ve created a hire service. We use Google Calendar to track the hire of our rooms. We’ve implemented Bookly Customer Cabinet to allow our customers to manage their bookings. However, the filter option of this feature, shows “Employee”, i.e. staff member, as an available filter. Perhaps Bookly could evaluate if the filters could be customised, i.e. changing the names for the filters.

My website currently doesn’t have a ‘login’ feature and I would like my clients to be able to log in and fill out their details before being able to book an appointment on my website. If I purchase this feature will I need css to ensure the customer cabinet is shown before the checkout page or will this automatically be a requirement once I’ve installed this feature on my site?

You can hide the booking form behind a login form with third-party tools. The customer cabinet will be available to customers after they book their first appointment, as before that there’s no customer record that is associated with the WP user account that’s logged in.

Do you do Single Opt-In or Double Opt-In

Opt-in email isn’t supported at the moment.

Please note that Bookly is installed on a WordPress website, and this website is located either on a server or on a local machine. All the data from Bookly is stored in a database that is a part of a website and is installed either on a server or locally, in which everything is located/stored. Therefore, Bookly doesn’t have any data about the registered customers on your website on our servers.

However, please check if the Bookly Customer Information Add-on: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001696154-Custom-data-in-client-s-profile-Customer-Information-Add-on- will work for this requirement.

It allows you to extend a customer profile with additional data about the client which gives you the option to create various types of custom fields with different questions, collect the required information, and will be available right in the Customers section in Bookly.

For authorized WordPress users (https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/212455529-Online-Access-to-Bookings-for-Clients), the ‘Ask once’ setting allows you to display custom questions once. So if the field was filled in, then it won’t be displayed to your clients during the next booking session.

So with this add-on, you can add a checkbox where customers need to confirm opting-in.

Please note that the login form is not a part of the Bookly plugin. Bookly uses the native WordPress function wp_login_form() to render the username/password form. It is usually the WordPress theme that creates a login/logout links, as per this article: https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-add-the-wordpress-logout-link-to-navigation-menu/ .

In instances that the theme didn’t apply styles to the login form, you can apply some CSS to the WordPress theme here:

WordPress->Appearance->Customize->Additional CSS.
