A friend of mine bought it, and I liked it. I would like to buy, but in the tests we did, we noticed that the user that comes by email is a random code, is there no way to make the user choose their own username?
Usernames a re randomly generated. Email address is used for login purposes. Now if you want user to choose the username, script would need to be modified, and there will be an additional charge for that
Can he use email to connect too or not? just the random user that comes in the email?
Yes, usernames can be used for login as well as the email address.

We already have a purchased license of this software in use in one of our applications. We have copied the instance, to set up a sandbox, and when we try to access the admin section it does not work. As well as the registration (is this included in this software?)
Do we need to purchase another license or is it possible to use the already purchased one?

Will this script support a family membership. For example there is a join page that has spaces for the primary and secondary members and creates both users upon payment of membership.

If you are not able to send email, make sure you have set up correctly SMTP settings in admin configuration page.
Hi, I have been pleased with most of the features included on this script. I have been able to customize most things to my needs, but one thing I am struggling with is the communication between the script and Paypal.
I have experimented with 1 day subscriptions. I successfully paid a subscription and activated a membership level. After 1 day, Paypal charges the account and the expiration date successfully changes to the next day.
HOWEVER, I tested the situation where I change the terms of the membership on my site. I changed the “Gold” membership from 1-day to 30-day. When it came time for that membership to expire, Paypal still charged the subscriber, but nothing was sent to the script or database. So user paid, but nothing happened on the site.
Where in the script do you handle the communication with Paypal? Why did it not send the new transaction to the database?

Sorry, there is no tutorial for implementing another gateway. Since each gateway will have different requirements, there is no point in having one. Also you will need strong PHP skills to do that.

First of all you should not be changing subscription period. Once is set it should sty that way. Secondly if original subscription was set for 30 days, and you change it to 90 or 15 days, PayPal will still charge user every 30 days. In order for the system ti update status of recurring membership, you need to have PayPal premium or business account and you need to set up from your PayPal account IPN url. You can find ipn url from your admin panel paypal configuration
Thank you for the reply. I only changed the period as a test. Going forward, I will be leaving the subscriptions at 30 day renewals. But I would like the ability to change price in the future if needed.
I have just now set up the IPN on my Paypal account (which is a business account). I will see what happens at the time of renewal tomorrow.
But, was I supposed to make subscription plans (https://www.paypal.com/billing/plans) on Paypal to coordinate with the plans on MMP? Or does the MMP script automatically generate the plan based on the information provided on me MMP admin panel?
Dont create any plans from your paypal account, they are automatically created for you.
Hi. I punched this product yesterday and have already encountered a few problems. That I feel this is not the right fit for me at this time.
1. At login-in, I am not redirected if I successfully login. This makes it seem like my user/pass is wrong. 2. I’m not given a username when creating or viewing a member in the admin. 3. I cannot upload a pdf file in the admin container.
After these issues, I don’t have faith that I wouldn’t encounter additional issues. I am requesting a refund, but figured you could use this bug list.
None of those are bugs.
1. You need to go to the admin panel in order to login as admin /admin/. Front end login is only for registered users.
2. During install process, you where given admin username/password.
3. You need to configure upload file directory as per install manual. You can also find instructions here, they are for my other script, bu the same logic applies http://ckb.wojoscripts.com/article/digishop-module/
4. Make sure you have configured SMTP settings from the admin configuration page.
1. I can see that logic. But with #2 it is hard to test without looking into db. And a question the admin would receive to either reset for user X or what is my user name if my email is Y? 2. When I create a user, I receive no username. It is not in the admin info either. 3. Everything is completed per manual. With additional settings test to see if it was a hosting issue. Still no upload.
If you have not changed admin username during install, ten you can login into admin panel with admin/pass1234. When creating new user you will not see the username, instead user can login with email address password. As for the file upload, I’m 100% certain you did not set the file directory correctly. I can help you with that, just please email me from my profile page with ftp and admin access

it seems when i use it to sign up as a member the signup page just continues to load forever. The new member IS successfully added to the admin area but the signup page just continues to load with no response.

Ok thank you that worked. But i think there is another bug with the Stripe notifications. When a payment is made with Stripe the customer doesn’t not get an email notification but it works when done with Paypal. The payment with Stripe goes through to my account so it processes. Is this a bug with the system?
Its not a bug, No notifications are needed for stripe, since stripe sends an email to a user
Hi, there’s no possible way for Stripe to send an email to the user because stripe doesn’t capture the users email. In my stripe account there is only the name of the customer. So with the current code the customer does not get any notifications when paying with Stripe. Can anything be done about this?

Hope you are doing well, there s a little issue. i tested a subscription for 1 month using a real payment system, everything is working fine. except for one thing. at the expiration date of the membership, the user can still have access to this membership. even in the Database on ‘user_memberships’ table, the field ‘active’ value is 1. it should be 0 because of the expiration of the Membership. Also on the Table ‘users’ the field ‘membership_id’ should change to 0 because of the expiration date. also when the membership is expired, the user should be able to subscribe to it again. Do you have a fix for this issue? Thank you very much
You will need to setup cron job to run once daily after midnight. Point to /cron/cron.php using wGet method

My installation seems OK and the admin panel is working. I am having issues when I try to post anything to the database from the client side. The console says “Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 ()” ”/member/view/front/controller.php”
How can I solve this?
500 error is generic server error that does not tell me much. Please enable debug console in /lib/config.ini.php and set DEBUG to true. Try another post refresh page and look for any errors or warnings within console tabs. You ca email me those from my profile page

For search use only first or last name of the user. Email is not being of of the criteria. As for the dark theme, I’m not sure what the issue is, but most likely something javascript related. I can have a look, if you send me your ftp and admin access.

I just tested your site, and looks like your page title are too long, so they stretch dropdown menu, other than that page renders just fine.
So what can i do? The Title are normal…
They are just bet too long, and that menu is not meant to have long titles. Solution is to make your page titles shorter, or create a new page menu just for that purpose.
