I understood your concern about the custom payment gateway you want to use and it will not automatically work custom payment gateway with ARMember but if your customer payment gateway works with WooCommerce plugin then ARMember does provide a facility to purchase through WooCommerce checkout so you can achieve this with ARMember plugin.
Otherwise you need to create custom addon. If you want we can do it for you for extra fees.

when the user tried to make Payment with Autherized.net and select group membership e.g 6 child account then the plugin is giving the message “Payment through Auto-Debit payment method is not possible with Group Membership” if auto-debit is allowed for a single child account then group purchased should also allow users to auto-debit

I understood your concern but unfortunately currently ARMember group membership addon does not support automatic payment method due to some payment gateways limitations.

After update to 5.0 ARMember does not show plans and members in newly designed backend. What luck that I did not apply the update on the live site.

I got an email from Envato that v 5.0 is available. But it doesn’t show up on my WordPress Plugins page (the same happened with V 4.6.1). Also trying through dashboard -> updates -> check again doesn’t do the trick. (I’m running 4.6 now).

Hi, I want to create membership plan, where user gets trial of 7 days . Lets say user signed up on 1st of january, he has 7 days of trial, then he moves to plan of $125 for next 30 days, then after 30 days, he will be automatically put to $200 per month. Is this possible? Thanks

ARMember does provide a facility to allow purchase membership plan with trial period but unfortunately it will not possible to set different amount for first recurring (after trial ) with different amount and after that next all recurring with different amount.

It does not have a one click restriction to a post type. You have to restrict your posts or post types one by one. If you have many posts in a post type like i have ‘job’ post type with thousands of job posts, this plugin is unusable. You can only restrict future posts which is nonsense. Moreover when restricting a post it does not show some excerpts of a post. I told them to include in the update but they dont listen. Other restriction plugins restrict a post type with 1 click. Other issue is i cannot install the direct login addon and when i asked them about the issue, they tell you support expired. It does not show the users’ profiles in a profiles page. This plugin has many issues. I seen the issues after i bought it for two sites. so i bought it twice and they tell me support expired. Its bullshit. I will change my comments if these issues are fixed
Well, If you have been using it for long enough then obviously it served you well. And regarding support renewal i think you need to be fair.
When you bought license you knew it very well that its not life time free support and its impossible for any company to do that and then survive. So, please understand if we do not take support fees after support period is over then we will not be able to maintain the product and bring more features and i am sure you do not want that.
We already give free updates for life time. so using review system to put pressure on us is not cool. In other words you need to extend your support period if you want technical support from us after original support period is expired.
Unfortunately the way you are trying to force us to provide support is not going to work.

Never really used it for restriction, i collect stuff before i run the sites, mostly two sites for same niches, so i bought two Armembers, i started the business after long because i have tons of sites, and when i started the business, i seen a bug that asks users to login again and again, seen your addon ‘Direct Login’ which could avoid this issue, i could not install it on both of my websites and was always expecting an update that will solve this, and nothing comes up new. i ask one day to even look at the issue, you ask me to renew support. why would i even pay when you can not help me. see my last support request and see if you solved it. I can buy another membership plugin with that and that will not only help me with other issue i faced and your stupid bug also.
Oh and for restricting my content and show partially the content, i use ‘wp-members’ for that since you are not able and willing to provide a one click restriction solution for a custom post type posted before, so i use mix armember and wp-members. So technically it is wp-members that is restricting my content not armember. i use membership for payments and plans. the only thing i cannot go back from armember is i now have too much members and their plans will mess up if i migrate.
i did not say it is a bad plugin all the features are good except for this simple tweaks that the developer can provide in one update and also but hate your support. good luck. my review will stay the same unless things change.

well, Direct login is free addon. we never charged anybody a penny for that. we always helped every customer, and will help you as well but instead of trying to prove us wrong you need to do the honest thing. i.e. if you need support outside of support scope then you must get support extension and by doing that you are not doing any charity but you are paying for the service. when u buy any plugin in entire envato market you get 6 months technical support if the item is supported by author. And its simple as that. so, sorry if you feel like you cant pay for extra service and demand for free which is not your right. but can not do much about that.

i never said the addon costs money. i said i could not install it for some reason. i bought wp-persistent login plugin to fix the issue, it does not solve the issue niether. Money is not the problem with me and you can see how i collect plugins on codecanyon. Noone demanded anything free. Last time i wanted support, i did not buy support, i bought the armember plugin that comes with 6 months support again for my other site, i remember now. And the thing is, i asked one question and you did not help me with my problem then. Why would i pay now when what you probably say is deactivate all the plugins and try. If i was sure you would fix it, i would have paid. Anyways ….

I have a question. How long does a member have after their membership expires before the plugin deletes their information?
you can set grace period.
We did that. However, the users are being deleted completely from our system after the expiration. We want to stop them from getting deleted. Once they are deleted they cannot re-register from the same account. it says they’re already in our system but they have been deleted.
