Looking into it now!

Chris, would be great if we could close this support ticket very soon thanks.

No worries :)

Hello,

Pre-sale Question

For each post is it possible to display the total average user reviews per criterion?

For instance
Criterion 1 : 65% users approve
Criterion 2 : 14% users approve
Criterion 1 : 50% users approve

Is it possible?

Thanks in advance,

—GM

Hey GM,

The comments average scores block does show the average of each criterion calculated from all the comment reviews – is that what you mean by that?

Codetipi

Yes, does your plugin do that? Do you have a demo link for that feature?

— GM

Yeah, you can see the block in action right here: https://demos.codetipi.com/letsreview/bose-beats/#:~:text=VISITOR%20REVIEWS%20BLOCK if you open that link in Chrome it’ll scroll down to the block I mean (VISITOR REVIEWS BLOCK).

That block is showing the average scores of each criterion of one of the posts (you can choose the post you want the block to show the scores for)

Hope this helps.

Hi, Is it possible to create different categories and then for each individual category to display a top 5 for each individual category as a widget in the sidebar?

Hey there,

Thanks for checking out Let’s Review.

Let’s Review can be added to normal posts, meaning that if you assign your posts to categories, you can then add a Let’s Review widget to your sidebar and set it to only show top 5 reviews from X category, and it will do exactly that.

Hope this helps :)

Codetipi

Hello,

On each post, is it possible to display the “total average” of the reviews submitted by the users? In other words, is it possible on each post to see the average user ratings?

— GM

Hey again GM,

Yes indeed, you can use the Let’s Review Gutenberg blocks to add that anywhere in your post, check out this post showing various Gutenberg blocks you can add:

https://demos.codetipi.com/letsreview/bose-beats/

Scroll to the block titled “VISITOR REVIEWS BLOCK” That one shows the comment user review score averages.

I hope this helps.

Hello,

My users do not have access to the backend/admin area of my blog

Pre-sale question:

Frontend submission: Is it possible to have visitors submit reviews from the frontend?

— GM

Hey GM,

Happy New Year :)

Thanks for checking out Let’s Review, but if you mean Editor reviews that appear in the main article content area then no, it is not possible to do it via the frontend. The reason is that frontend submission via the classic editor opens extra security risks, and Gutenberg is only in the backend, making it impossible to offer a normal interface for visitors to submit them.

Visitors can submit reviews via the comments though, as seen here: https://demos.codetipi.com/letsreview/apple-xr-review/

You can set it to only appear for logged in users too.

Hope this helps.

Hi, I am strongly considering buying Zeen theme including this interetsing and beautiful plugin.

I have just two simple questions: 1, is is possible to ONLY insert affiliate button into the article? Without review, percentage, just aff button

2, is it possible to add feauture into review box, that makes “Click to Copy”? I would love this feature, because than i cant insert coupon codes too and buyers can easily copy code. Can you please consider this? <3 Like on this image: https://prnt.sc/20xnlt6 for example where is “BUY IT NOW”.

Thank you in advance and have a nice day :)

Hey Dominik,

Thanks for the interest :)

1. Yes, you can see it in action here: https://demos.codetipi.com/letsreview/iphone-xi/ just under the “Let’s Review affiliate button shortcode” heading.

2. That isn’t possible, but it can be done by writing a bit of custom JavaScript – this type of customization isn’t part of Themeforest support policy though of course, but you can hire me (I’m the Codetipi dev) to do it as a freelance job.

Hope this helps.

Hello codetipi, My Review site has over one thousand reviews, at the moment i am using multi rating pro but would love to be able to import the ratings into your plugin. would you please look into the possibility of me migrating the reviews over to your plugin Cheers

Hey Brash,

I’ve added Multi Rating migration option to Let’s Review’s development list, so should happen in one of the upcoming updates.

Codetipi

Thats brilliant, thank you for the fast reply

It’s no problem :)

Is it possible to import data from WP Review? (https://mythemeshop.com/plugins/wordpress-review/)

Hey Miragex,

Currently not, the migration is able to import data from:

Themes: Valenti, Ciola, 15Zine
Plugins: WP Product Review (Themeisle) and Divi Reviews (Elegant Themes)

However, there are plans to add multiple more in one of the plugin’s upcoming updates, and I’ve added WP Review to the list too. So it will be possible at one point :)

Codetipi

Hi.. this is a pre-sale query.. 1. Do you have review reminder email feature? 2. If not, then can you tell if you are compatible with which review reminder email plugins?

Hey there,

Thanks for the interest in Let’s Review.

No, the plugin doesn’t have any email sending functionality. However, I’m sure a dedicated email reminder plugin would be able to do this.

All you’d need to do is set up to send an automated email about leaving a review after X condition (such as, 7 days after a visitor created an account on the site).

Hope this helps.

[letsreviewlist] shortcode no longer works with option “top score ordering”. No comparison itmes show when ordering by top scores is on. Latest WP + latest Avada theme 7.5 + Let’s review 3.3.5

Are you aware of that bug?

Hey Szymon321,

Hm, no one has reported this bug before, can you please open a ticket at http://codetipi.ticksy.com and include the relevant urls + full shortcode you used so the support team can investigate.

Hi Chris

Google has implemented what seems to be a change in the product schema structure for the Brand label since Oct 1 2-21 or they have started to get stricter on it. Unfortunately Let’s review has run foul of this as follows:

Lets review schema output:

”@type”: “Product”, “name”: “name”,”sku”: “sku”,”mpn”: “mps”,”description”: “description”,”brand”: “brand name”

Google request for brand:

“brand”: { ”@type”: “Brand”, “name”: “ACME” },

Google has this down as a warning but if possibly can you urgently update your schema structure so its accurate?

Also please add price to the structure to complete it thanks!

The brand field is updated for 3.4.1 – but what price field are you talking about exactly?

well under offers you have a price field, it would be great to include that as many reviews are products with prices :)

}, “offers”: { ”@type”: “Offer”, “url”: “https://example.com/anvil”, “priceCurrency”: “USD”, “price”: “119.99”, “priceValidUntil”: “2020-11-20”, “itemCondition”: “https://schema.org/UsedCondition”, “availability”: “https://schema.org/InStock” } }

The issue with those is that no one can really fill those in though. That’s why they aren’t options in the plugin – Because it’s not the literal price of the product, that is schema to declare an “offer”, in other words, when you sell the product and it’s on a discount sale, you use that to tell google of the sale price, if it’s in stock and the condition (used/new).

I like the plugin very much!
So far, I’m happy with it. I just hope there is a plan to make shortcodes for everything. For example review title, pros, cons, logo, button, stars, etc. So I can easily put every piece into my theme anywhere I want and make my own post-templates without any coding. That would make the plugin perfect! :)

Hey DerBanause,

Happy you’re happy :)

There is a shortcode to create a review, and even though I haven’t tested it, I’m sure you can just insert pros/cons and leave everything else blank and it should work.

There is also an Affiliate button shortcode already :)

Hi, repeatedly the final score slider not working .. this problem exists since month. Once the post is edited again, the score disappears …

could this according to browser tools:

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading ‘toggleClass’) at x.<computed>.<computed>._toggleClass (core.min.js?ver=1.12.1:116) at x.<computed>.<computed>._addClass (core.min.js?ver=1.12.1:116) at x.<computed>.<computed>._mouseCapture (slider.min.js?ver=1.12.1:9) at x.<computed>.<computed>.x.isFunction.r.<computed> [as _mouseCapture] (core.min.js?ver=1.12.1:116) at x.<computed>.<computed>._mouseDown (mouse.min.js?ver=1.12.1:9) at x.<computed>.<computed>.x.isFunction.r.<computed> [as _mouseDown] (core.min.js?ver=1.12.1:116) at HTMLDivElement.<anonymous> (mouse.min.js?ver=1.12.1:9) at HTMLDivElement.dispatch (load-scripts.php?c=0&load[chunk_0]=jquery-core,jquery-migrate,utils,regenerator-runtime,wp-polyfill,wp-hooks&ver=5.8.1:2) at HTMLDivElement.v.handle (load-scripts.php?c=0&load[chunk_0]=jquery-core,jquery-migrate,utils,regenerator-runtime,wp-polyfill,wp-hooks&ver=5.8.1:2)

Hey there,

Can you try activating the default theme (TwentyTwenty) to test it there? I have a feeling your theme is doing something weird and breaking your site’s JavaScript.

Codetipi

Hi, i open a support ticket for this last week .. change to standard theme did not help

Hi again,

I see your ticket has received multiple responses already, check it out :)

1. I’d like to report a bug (PHP 7.4, WP 5.8.2, Avada Theme 7.4.2)

register_rest_route was called incorrectly. The REST API route definition for codetipi-lets-review/v3/ur is missing the required permission_callback argument. For REST API routes that are intended to be public, use __return_true as the permission callback. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 5.5.0.) in…/wp-includes/functions.php on line 5663

2. Future request

Could you add the only rating shortcode (stars) so it can bee displayed in any place in the custom post template?

Hi there,

Are you using the latest Let’s Review version? If so, please open a ticket at http://codetipi.ticksy.com and include your site url + admin login details so someone from support can investigate it deeper for you.

Codetipi

update of Let’s Review solved the problem

Great news :)

Hey. Hi Codetip. I hope you are well. I wanted to write again. 2 years ago (https://codecanyon.net/comments/23285210 ) I asked whether there would also be a template for categories / criteria and you said yes. : D Last year (https://codecanyon.net/comments/25001143 ) I asked again and you said that you can’t say when yet. :) 9 months ago (https://codecanyon.net/comments/25906599 ) I asked again and you said that there will be a new update this year.

I just wanted to ask if you already knew something new? Is there already an appointment or are the functions in progress? I would be so happy. Greeting

Hey Senfdazu,

Hope you’ve been well :)

This feature has been started, but it’s a tricky one! And so it’s been delayed and overlooked for all recent updates in favour of other fixes/changes. It is 100% still in the plans though and will be included in the next major update!

Codetipi

Hi! Using your plugin for 2 years now. It’s great. Just wanted to ask that I was moving from native Wordpress comment system to WPdiscuz. I noticed that only in native wordpress comment system the option to submit a review is visible. But I don’t see it when I move to WP Discuz commenting system. Is it possible to add that ‘is this a review option’ option.

Moreover, does this theme allow user to upload images of the product as well? and add pros and cons section.

Hi Roman,

WPDiscuz uses its own custom comment system which doesn’t allow for external plugins to add/edit/delete custom data from it like this. The native WP comments allows for this, that’s why it’s possible there. And open a ticket at http://codetipi.ticksy.com regarding the upload images to review comments question, I believe there is a way, but only for images, don’t think it’s possible to add a native pros/cons section in there too.

Bug Report: Deprecated: block_categories is outdated since WP Version 5.8.0! Use instead block_categories_all.

temporary fix: changed block_categories to block_categories_all in: inc/class-lets-review.php in row 153 …

call me bad ass hacker xD

Hey Playfrontde or should I say Bad ass hacker haha :P

Thanks for reporting – this has been fixed and will be included in next plugin update.

This plugin doesn’t work on my blog. I have disabled all plugins to see if there was any incompatibility, but still nothing appears on the front end.

I’m attaching two screens: https://www.evernote.com/l/AASRy0YJkvJDSpc6tZjwpmvEXycREdD9xaE https://www.evernote.com/l/AAQmUKut-KVEurLte6480uckqx0bxux2EjM

I have written a message in codetipi support and 48 hours later they still don’t respond to me. Please, I want a refund of my money, I pay for a plugin that doesn’t work for me and also your support team is not responding.

Hey Vuarnet,

I had a look and see your ticket was answered now. Chris (Codetipi dev) was not well for a bit so wasn’t able to work full time last week, this is why there was a delay.

Hope the response helped.

Pre-Sale Query: Hi, I have come across your plugin and it looks really awesome among others. I have a few question before I makeup my mind. 1) Will this plugin help displaying starts (rating), image of the product, author etc in the Google search result like reviews normally appear on Google search page? 2) Can i use this plugin on multiple sites of mine? I run 3 sites. 3) Does this plugin follow the default CSS or it will display its own fonts and styles 4) Can i use it to show best and worst products based on my rankings in widget or inside post (Gutenberg) Thanks.

Hey M0re,

Thanks very much for the interest in Let’s Review. I haven’t been well so been unable to work normal hours – so please accept my apologies in getting back to you:

1- The plugin outputs valid review schema with each review box, so yes, Google can show review data (such as stars) in the search results. However, it is important to know that it is impossible to force Google to show review data in search results. Spammers abused the system so Google changed it and now you will only see stars in search results if Google algorithm thinks it is relevant – in other words, Google will only show them some times, even if your schema is 100% valid.

2- The plugin is under the CodeCanyon license. This means you can use the plugin on 1x site. If you would like to use it on multiple sites you need to buy a separate license for each one. For example, if you have 3 sites, you would need 3x Let’s Review licenses to use it on all 3 sites.

3- The plugin by default inherits the fonts from the theme, this is to optimize performance (fonts can be heavy), but you can load google fonts in the plugin settings if you want too.

4- Yes, the plugin comes with shortcodes, gutenberg blocks and the powerful Let’s Review widget to show your best/worst rated reviews.

Hope this helps.
