Add this style:
evcal_list li a{border-bottom:none!important}
Thanks, that gets rid of the borders completely. I want the borders, but not under the hyper links. Some how the hyperlinks in the text descriptions are inheriting the border assignments in the css file.
I removed the padding as a temporary fix until the “border” could be removed the link. With the padding in, it makes the lines under each link appear worse.
#evcal_list li .evcal_desc_top a{border:none!important;}
Thanks again for your support. The last code sent removed the side border lines. The text in description for links were still underlined.

Tony
Been watching at this plugin for a while, finally purchased. Best events plugin in it’s class. I am having the same reset problem when I go back toedit, the time changes to AM for beginning and ending. This only happens when I add any type of HTML , JavaScript or short codes.
Does this plugin not support the addition of shortcodes, HTML or scripts? Tried to add a button and entry disappeared because of am time change.
http://start.meetupcentral.org/I will look into the AM PM issue. Are you saying adding HTML /Scripts into event description text?
Thanks for the quick response. Yes, but the time changes now sometimes even after I have edited without scripts. the script in the HTML seems to be somewhat functional now, however the AM/PM problem seems to persist.
Hi I am interested in purchasing your plugin. I am wondering if the colour coded events can be listed on seperate pages of my website? Or do I need to create seperate calendars for each page? Thanks!
// if there's no end time set
if( empty($et_hr) ) {
$from_to_time = date($wp_time_format,strtotime($from_time));
}
Also one tiny bug with AM and PM – doesn’t seem to remember if I set PM if I go back and edit the event post – it defaults to AM, so when I save it again it’s showing the wrong time. It’s okay as long as I remember to reset it to PM.

Thanks for letting me know. I will fix that bug.
- Show a calendar (similar to Google Calendar, something big that can take up the screen and show available and unavailable time slots) to non-logged in site visitors.
- Calendar would show days and times of availability.
- Site visitor would be able to select a day and time and then be forwarded to a paypal checkout page.
- Site visitor would then purchase (or book) that time and date via paypal.
- An email would be then sent to a specific user/email that I select (I don’t want the payments and bookings to be sent to admin).
- The recipient of the notification would also receive customer data with the booking notification.
Can this all be done with your plugin? And if so, what needs to be purchased (which version of plugin, and if any, additional upgrades for the plugin)?
Thanks in advance.
hi there, on the slick theme, how can i remove the thin coloured bar on the left ?
element.style { border-left: 3px solid #570843; }

i tried in the custom wp css and also in the style.css for the plugin skin…neither worked!
I’m guessing its probably overriding by other CSS styles on your theme. Email me a link and I can take a look
hey sorry for not getting back to you. I was away. ok
Add this to styles #evcal_list li a.evcal_list_a{border-left: none!important;}
Hi,
Been using your plug-in and love it. One of the best calendars I’ve seen. However I would like to list an event without a specific day, such as just January 2013 with no day. Is there any workaround to do this?
Thank you!
@ashanjay – Awesome plugin! If I could vote for any future improvement that you decide to approach first, it would be adding the functionality for displaying “ALL” upcoming events no matter what month they fall into. This calendar is perfect for getting the word out about upcoming events, except with the month-by-month navigation it can be difficult to get people to register ahead of time. Don’t change the look and feel though, its by far the simplest, yet powerful event calendar I’ve used, and we’re sticking with it!
Thanks a lot for the message Eric! its great to hear nice things about the plugin
I will add this to the list for future updated. Stay tunes via my blog or twitter for when those will be released.
Cheers!
Thank you SO much for the update and widget! The update fixed my problem with only 5 items showing
I LOVE the widget. I am only showing 1 item on my front page. How can I change it to show the next upcoming event instead of one that is in the past? It shows the first item of the month which happens to be in the past.
Thanks again. Fabulous, fabulous calendar plugin. Very happpy.
Thank you so much for the lovely message! In the settings page enable hide past events and then select whether to use current time or date as end point for past events and that should hide past events for your widget.
Thank you for your fast response. Excellent support. I really appreciate it
I changed the settings to no past events but present and upcoming aren’t shown either now. I tried both settings with the same outcome.
Any ideas why?
Go into Settings >General and see if you have set the correct time zone for where you live.
Thanks. I do!
I don’t think it should matter though since I have events today and well into November as well.
hmm not sure what its doing. Can you email me a link so I can check it out?
Email sent. Thank you for your continued support!
Hi,
Love the layout and the style for this calendar! Before I buy it… Can I create multiple calendars? Or can I show a certain colorcode only to logged in users of a specific user role? One of these two I absolutely need.
Thanks in advance!
Cheers
AshanJay, any chance of getting some custom views? i.e 2 monthly, 3 monthly, list view (with item limits?)
Its what this plugin is REALLY missing.
Are you saying displaying 2/3 months at a time?
Yes, 2/3/4 months at a time would be a great feature! We are using the calendar to show up and coming training events, it would be handy for customers to be able to see the available training sessions over the next 3 months, rather than whats available for the current month. Yes, they could click through, but the less the user has to do, the better!
Hi there, great script. However I need the following features implemented.
1, filter by colored categories 2, ability to add recurring events 3, widget to display upcoming events (within admin widget ablility to select category and number of events to display) 4, Events that start and stop on one day and then countinue within some other month later 5, Featured events widget.
Can you please let me know how much it will cost to have these features implemented?
Thanks.
I dont think you have checked out the complete list of features for the plugin. The widget allows you to select number of events and category. Events can be color coded but not based on category.
Send me a email and we can talk about adding rest of the features.
Is possible to importa calendar from Google and event from facebook?
Unfortunately google or fb events can not be imported yet. This may be a feature I am considering adding in the future.
I followed instructions. Doesn’t work. Not happy.
email me a link to see what you are talking about. thx
Got the WP login via email and added test event myself – worked like a charm. Not sure what you are talking about.
NOTE TO ALL : PLEASE add events with full date and times before you contact me and saying its not working.
Hi again!
I have a problem with a date not being displayed on the front end.
I deleted the date multiple times to re-add it but nothing will show the date. Is the display by any change restricted to 5 items a month? It would be weird but I can’t explain it otherwise.
Your help would be appreciated. Many thanks.
It is not limited to show 5 items. do you have a link i can look at?
Really like the look of this plugin, but as so many of the rest it seems to be calendar driven. what I need is something that is location driven.
I have 100 events taking place around the country, and need the a drop down list of regions, once the region is selected, it will list (in date order) all the relevant events for that area.
Can this plugin do anything like this?
unfortunately this plugin is not map based events. And I am not sure this is something I am planning to add in the future either. Sorry about that.
Hello – was there an answer for the post from ‘themespotters’? I am having the same issue. Thank you.
Hi ashanjay, look like a great plugin but I’m not able to get the events I create to show up in the list on the front end. It just returns “No events”... I’ll be happy to send you login so you can see what is wrong.
sure send me the info in a email.
Thanks, sent you an email.
Thanks for the quick assistance!
Does this come with a widget to display upcoming events in sidebar?
Thanks.
As of right now.. no. However the skin is responsive so you can add the short code or php template tag to the side bar and it will fit to the size. I am hoping to add widget functionality in the future.
Thank you!
I bought your plugin and the display in the sidebar doesn’t really work as the display is way too much for just a widget. I only want 1 or 2 entries showing, not the whole list.
So a configurable widget would make this the perfect plugin for me
Still a great display of my events. Thank you!
Hi, I was wanting to know how to always show the events expanded and not compact on loading the page. Thanks
you can add ”#evcal_list li .event_description{display:block!important} to styles on settings page. But keep in mind you can not enable google map locations for an event if you are doing this. As google maps are called when the event full description is clicked.
