Hi, we have set up the plugin and the price is changing on the single product page but not on our product category pages. We are using the https://wpgridbuilder.com/ to create our product category cards with the price. When we click your toggle the price on the card doesn’t update. Do you know why this would be and how we can fix this please?
Hi Chris, could be a few different things, but typically its non-standard code in the theme, or another plugin/Javascript taking precedence. If you want to open a private support ticket with me, I am happy to take a look at the site or the page code if its not online https://desk.thetwopercent.co.uk/index.php?a=add&category=2
Hi, how can i translate the cart icon hover label?
https://imgur.com/a/EknrMM8Hey, thanks for your comment. I’ve realised that the label string for the cart icon is not translatable. If you can open a support ticket with me here I can send you the new version 1.3.5 which is not released yet, but that fixes this issue https://desk.thetwopercent.co.uk/index.php?a=add&category=2
I’m currently using the shortcode in my pages header. Is it possible to modify the plugin in a way to display both options with custom names next to each other and let users choose? Similar to the to right corner of this page: https://www.wisch-star.de/
Yes that’s definitely possible and many developers customise the toggle to suit their needs. Once installed, copy the markup of the toggle button and develop it as you required. There is some simple JavaScript to find the classes in the markup to activate the switch, as long as they are the same then the toggle can be developed anyway you want. One item of note, your example site does not use my tax toggle. The example site refreshes the page when the toggle is pressed, where as Tax Toggle for WooCommerce does not refresh the page for the user.
When trying to install the plugin I get the “Please install WooCommerce to use Tax Toggle for WooCommerce” message, even though WooCommerce is installed and working. I am using the Shoptimizer theme. Is there a known issue?
Hi William. There is no known issue. The theme you choose should not matter. The plugin runs a simple check to make sure WooCommerce is installed and activated. It then also runs a check to make sure your tax is setup. I would check that one of those things is not true, and clear any caches. If not resolved, let’s chat privately to see if there is something else going on. Please open a support ticket with me https://desk.thetwopercent.co.uk/index.php?a=add&category=2 please include the copy information from Site Health > Info in WP admin. Thanks!

Hi,
I have bought the licence WooCommerce Tax Toggle theme Divi module Woocommerce.
The toggle HT /TTC do not appear in shop pages. The code is integrated the page but the toggle do not appear :
HT / TTC
Example : https://www.burostock.insales.eu/sieges/chaise-bureau-dactylo-configurable/
I have checked your recommendations.
Can you help me?
Best regards,
Emmanuel Gaulin
DiviVersion : 4.9.10 Divi EcommerceVersion : 1.2.6 WooCommerce Tax Toggle : 1.3.3
Hey Emmanuel, I think I can see the problem with this particular theme, it looks like it sets its template parts with a high z-index. When you scroll down the homepage you can see the toggle appear sometimes. If you can open a support ticket with me directly I can email you some code to fix it. https://desk.thetwopercent.co.uk/index.php?a=add&category=2
For anyone else following or using the Divi Ecommerce by divi.space theme, the problem was indeed the themes shoddy code using a very high z-index for content. The problem is solved applying custom CSS #wcvat-toggle { z-index: 100000; }
Hi guys, loving the plugin and this is working great for the most part however… The store is setup to have prices input Ex. VAT and has the tax rate of VAT setup at 20% which is giving us the right result in most places however, we are seeing the ex. VAT price in the mini cart, main cart and final checkout summary when the tax toggle is set to on.
I have tried setting display prices in shop and display prices in cart and checkout both to including tax but this still shows as inclusive when viewing the site with the tax toggle set to off.
Is this a known bug? If not, is it possible to get a fix on this, please?
Hey! Thanks for the message and feedback! There was an issue with the minicart but this was fixed = Version 1.3.2 (Released 2021-05-18) – “Fix minicart always showing including price”. So I would check your plugin version (Plugins through Envato do not automatically update). If you are running latest version it may be related to your theme! If so, best thing would be to get in touch privately with me so we can work out what’s happening – if you open a ticket and include the URL (if possible), the theme name (if its a free theme) or even the raw HTML of your minicart (right click on minicart, copy HTML) that should start us off! https://desk.thetwopercent.co.uk/index.php?a=add&category=2
Hey, thanks for coming back to us (apologies about the delay coming back here – I didn’t get an email notification of reply). Plugin is indeed the latest version. I’ll setup a ticket now and we’ll follow through from there.
Hi,
Just purchased this addon, and it is working in some situations. We have productprices that are based on the size of the product. In this situation the tax switch is not working.
Can this be fixed?
Hey Mark, it depends. Its not necessarily our plugin at fault, as our plugin uses standard woocommerce templating to replace values based on the toggle. So if the plugin you are using does not use the correct template, it is not our plugin that needs to be fixed, but theirs
Could you open a support ticket with me direct, and share with me your site URL if its live and the name of the plugins that you are using – here’s a link to the support desk https://desk.thetwopercent.co.uk/index.php?a=add&category=2
Hi, I love your plugin, but I am having trouble with it not toggling prices added via this bulk quantity plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/tier-pricing-table/. The main product prices are correctly toggling, but the bulk prices are showing only WITH tax values. Do not change when toggle. Are you able to help make this compatible please?
Hey, thanks for the comments and using this plugin. I’ve had a quick look at the Tier Pricing Table plugin. Out of the box, it doesn’t look like its compatible. It uses similar methods to this plugin to inject the tier pricing, as well as custom templates to display the tables. I can look in to it some more, but it may be that this is a custom development job for your project to either fork the tier pricing table or the tax toggle. I do get a lot of requests for this kind of compatibility so perhaps I start my own version of tier pricing, but I am not sure if I will get to it anytime soon due to other commitments and there being so many plugins that could be made compatible.
I can send you some code I have already added to my child theme which would just need the price values editing to work with the tax toggle. Is there a private way of contacting you with this information please?
Of course, there is private support desk here, you can attach any files, or link to Github or Gist https://desk.thetwopercent.co.uk/index.php?a=add&category=2 Thanks!
Hi There,
I just bought WooCommerce Tax Toggle (WTT) by accident. I did buy a Theme, but WTT was still in my cart, which I didn’t notice. It is possible to deactivate the download and give me refund?
Thank!
Regards, Arjan
Hi Arjan, you can request a refund via Code Canyon, it’s not something I can trigger from the admin as plugin authors don’t see any order details
[presale question] I run a webshop and use WPML for translation. Is it possible to have the default ex VAT on the default language and inc. VAT by default in the translated language.
Hey. Yes of course. All the plugins text is configurable, integrates with translation files and many users use alongside WPML or Polylang. Should there be any issues with the plugin and your setup you can always open a support ticket with me and if it’s something I can fix I will do it. Thanks.
Thanks! I have bought the plugin but unfortunately it does not solve the problem I wanted to solve. I used to use the “Price display suffix” (inc. VAT {price_including_tax}) to show VAT. Only thing was that this did not work for options (I use the WooCommerce Extra Product Options plugin for that). I expected your toggle plugin would work for the options but that is not the case. See https://www.evcreate.nl/shop/brakes-wheels/ibooster-gen1-connector-kit/
OK cool. Can you open a support ticket with me directly so we can work together to get this fixed. I’ve never heard of the plugin you mentioned, so if you can send me a copy of it I can hopefully make it compatible or tell you why it doesn’t work https://desk.thetwopercent.co.uk/index.php?a=add&category=2
Also, I can see the Tax Toggle is working (e.g. for the price below page title) but your prices are actually not setup for tax properly. Please follow this guide thoroughly otherwise nothing will toggle regardless of other plugins https://desk.thetwopercent.co.uk/knowledgebase.php?article=2
Hello,
I bought the WooCommerce tax toggle today. I saw this plugin at a friend a while ago. The thing I saw then was that I could put different text on the button, depending on the state. When VAT was shown, he had the text “disable VAT” and when the VAT wasn’t shown, he had the text “show VAT” on the button. Now it seems that that function is gone. I can only write one text on the button. I would really appreciate if that function comes back, because that was a big motivation for buying the plugin. Or is there maybe another way to manage this?
I managed to change colors, fonts and other stuff on my shortcode widget with css. The only thing I can’t get done is removing the tick. How can i specify the tick in css?
Grtz Ronny
Hey Ronny, the plugin doesn’t have text state change on the button, but this is something I am developing for a future release. If you can open a ticket with me on my support system we can talk privately, I might be able to give you a beta release. To hide the tick from showing, this can be done with CSS, here is an example https://gist.github.com/thetwopct/4bdf89aa77bf0f00823c9cfc0cdd7c26 Thanks James
Hi the plugin is causing conflict with WC Measurement Price Calculator plugin. Its not showing the price per m2. When i switch off tax toggle everything works. Any options to solve this conflict?
Hi Melvin, I don’t have any experience of that plugin. Tax Toggle attaches itself to the price hook, so any other plugin doing the same may conflict with it and vice versa. Would you mind opening up a support ticket with me so I can checkout your site directly? Thanks! https://desk.thetwopercent.co.uk/index.php?a=add&category=2
Hi There, i have checked this: I am sure the latest version of the plugin will fix your issues, but also to be sure, there are 3 main things that need to be done for the plugin to work as intended:
1) Tax Rates and Calculations must be switched on WP Admin > WooCommerce > Settings > General “Enable tax rates and calculations”
2) Tax Rate must be set WP Admin > WooCommerce > Settings > Tax > Standard Rates + Insert Row with your Tax info
3) Individual Product must be marked as Taxable WP Admin > Products > Product > Product Data > Tax Status “Taxable” (screenshot: https://cln.sh/w3ODpz)
But it doesn’t work? What am i doing wrong? And screenshot doesn’t work
Not sure where you got that text from, please see our FAQ to check for why it’s not working. https://desk.thetwopercent.co.uk/knowledgebase.php?article=2
If still not working, please open a support ticket with a link to your site https://desk.thetwopercent.co.uk/index.php?a=add&category=2
Well the text i got from a reply (2 months ago) above here. But i will check you’re link. Thanks for the quick response.
No problems. Unfortunately we cannot edit old comments and sometimes things change. The screenshot in that comment does work, just need to remove the bracket at the end – https://cln.sh/w3ODpz
Hi, After pressing the toggle is there a way to change the text from Incl. VAT to Exc. VAT. All our products are setup to display as Excl. VAT by default.
I tried entering exc. VAT in the ‘Price display suffix’ field but this didn’t help.
Any help appreciated.
Hi, yes this one is very easy and is part of the plugin. Once the plugin is installed, you will have new options in the WordPress Admin pages. Go to WP Admin > WooCommerce > Settings > Tax > and at the bottom of that screen you will see the plugin options. By default the toggle uses “Incl” and “VAT” just change the “Incl” to “Exc”. This will then update the toggle text. Let me know if not clear and if that solves your issue, thanks!
Hi, I’ve tried both ‘Exc’ and ‘Inc’ but the label still isn’t changing when the toggle is activated, see screenshot: https://prnt.sc/15s920q
Hmm OK, I’m a little bit unsure of which elements on the front end are not changing as from your settings the Toggle is deactivated, so I’d be interested to see you site. Would it be possible for you to open a support ticket for me so we can work on this together and get you a solution? Send me the URL and if its possible for me to access a staging version of the site please do include those details in your ticket. https://desk.thetwopercent.co.uk/index.php?a=add&category=2 Thanks!
Hi.
I’m having an issue where a few of our product prices don’t shift from excluding VAT to including VAT when the excluding VAT/including VAT toggle is tapped. The vast majority of them are working, but a few of them aren’t.
Instead of changing to the including/excluding VAT price, the price is staying at the excluding VAT price.
Thanks for your help.
Emma
Hey Emma. Ok sounds strange. Are the products set to be “not taxable” or have zero tax rate applied? If you could open a support ticket with me including your site url I can take a look; if the site is on a staging server and you can give me access to the admin that will also help me diagnose the issue. https://desk.thetwopercent.co.uk/index.php?a=add&category=2 Thanks!
Good morning,
Is it possible to control the location of the tax toggle? Please let me know how as I’d like it in the top right, slightly lower than the header nav.
Thank you.
Yes, you can control the position of the floating Tax Toggle button with some CSS. Here is an article about it https://desk.thetwopercent.co.uk/knowledgebase.php?article=8 and here are some CSS examples https://gist.github.com/thetwopct/0c26e45e2ed0ffcbfb917890bd0f2313 (the third example should suit your needs)
Hello!
We are trying to implement your plugin aside to another called “Advanced Product fields”, which basicly adds extra features to a product while changing the final price. Demo here: https://product-demo.studiowombat.com/product/wooden-window-configurator/ Is there any possibility to implement your tax toggle plugin alongside with “APF” ? Additionally, is there a manual approach (eg. javascript events etc.)
Hey, I’ve had a quick look and I think I could probably make it compatible, if not could show you how to do so, if not, it could require some custom work. Do you have the pro version already as this seems to be what you would likely need. Can you open a ticket with me here so we can talk privately and get it sorted? Thanks! https://desk.thetwopercent.co.uk
I spoke with the developer of Advanced Product Fields and he said 1) it should work anyway, and 2) if not, should be relatively straight forward to make it compatible. If you open a support ticket with me we can chat further – https://desk.thetwopercent.co.uk/index.php?a=add&category=2, or let me know here if its resolved for you now.
Hi there.
The price per item in the mini cart always shows the actual price as “incl.” even though it’s toggled to excl, which can be confusing. And for some reason, the mini-cart shows the subtotal correctly.
Is there a simple fix to this or is there perhaps a way for me to remove/hide the “price per item” just in the mini-cart easily via functions.php?
Example of what I want to fix/hide: https://i.imgur.com/KWiXK4s.png
Hi – installed this as a widget but nothing shows up. Don’t want it to float, specifically want the widget.
Hey, we’ve just updated the plugin to the latest version, can you install it and let me know if that solves your problems? Due to WordPress / PHP and jQuery changes some of the code needed to be updated. Let me know. You can remove the float option in Settings, and use [wootax] shortcode wherever you want the button. Thanks
I’ve been waiting just shy of a week for a response to my query. Will you be lifting a finger any time soon??
Hey vulcanstudio, Tax Toggle for WooCommerce is now under new management and we’ve just completed a full update to the plugin. Can you download the latest version (just uploaded) and let me know if it solves your problems? If not, please get in touch via ticket at our new support desk with your site details https://desk.thetwopercent.co.uk – thanks and apologies for crappy support in the past
Hello and thank you for getting back to me. It would be great if you could assist to ensure this works properly.
I’ll submit a ticket now.
Awesome, thanks for details I have logged in to your site and got it working with the latest version of the plugin!
