Help? I updated from older version, entered by Purchase Code and Envato token, and get this message when I try to update: “Your installation of Web 2.0 Directory plugin was not verified. I reverted back to PHP 7.3 and everything works. The reason is because some hosts have disabled the ctype extension in PHP7.4. Even though it has been enabled since forever. It is crazy, all of this trouble, because one of the largest hosting companies decided to disable it. Sorry for the trouble, this was extremely frustrating, as I have purchased two of your products, love the directory, and neve expected such issues. Thank you for your patience.

I think we have identified a bug with the plugin. This has happened several times now. If 2 listings are being created on the front end of the site, within a short period of time from one another, it is then replacing the last one with the new one and only one user listing is created. When you click on the notification email that says a profile has been created it takes you to the second profile that was over ridden.
Unfortunately I can not reproduce the issue.
Could you provide some details how to do this. Should I enter exactly the same listing details on submission? What to enter in submission? Is it guest mode submission? What if it will happen in long period of time? Is “profile” means “listing”?
Hi, our project was delayed and support has ran out. Maybe the solution to our issue in your docs, I just can’t find it. Plugin works fine, but when there are no search results, a (Arabian? map is shown on the page above the text ‘sorry no listings were found’. How do we change this please?

For anyone else looking for a solution to this, I found it: this setting in the Directory settings needs to be activated and the user needs to accept: ==> ‘Enable automatic user Geolocation – Requires https’ – If this is not activated, the map defaults to Algeria when no search results are found. Not pretty, but that’s the way it is.

how can I delete an end date of a listing that has already been set? I tried the reset button; it is not working. I can change the end date but not delete it completely. As soon as I update the listing, the end date is set again.

Hello, if you want to make a listing eternal active period (do not expire) – there is such setting at the listings levels settings. Please look at Directory Admin -> Listings levels.

The field ‘Eternal active period’ is already enabled. So, the level will never expire. But I am still not able to delete the end dates of listings.
What else could it be?

Ok I got it, It looks like you mean using built-in modules and can’t customize it further. I see quite a few Directory plugins that are free but they offer high design capabilities with elementor. I have the ‘Overwrite WordPress page title by directory page title’ setting switched to ON, but that hasn’t helped. And if I switch on the ‘Enable imitation mode’ that will then change the main menu ‘directory’ link to the name of the category I have selected, which I don’t want.

I have experience of using another directory plugin which is no longer meeting my clients’ needs. I’m therefore looking for alternatives and have a few pre-sales queries as follows –
What is the process when a guest attempts to claim a listing?
Will the guest be prompted to create an account before making a claim?
Does a guest need to pay in order to claim a listing?
Once a claim has been approved, does that user become the author of that listing?
Similarly, what is the process when a guest attempts to purchase a listing?
Will they be prompted to create an account as part of the purchasing process?
What happens when a user tries to add a listing for a location that has not been manually entered by Admin? Can they add their own Country/State/City or do they have to ask Admin to add this?
Am I right in understanding that once the user does have an account, they will be able to log-in and see a front-end dashboard where they can view their listings?
Am I right in thinking that the plug-in will automatically generate a reminder when a listing is due to expire?

We need a business directory plugin whereby we can setup different levels – each level is NOT for the amount of listings, but the details they can add for their listing, such as Website Address, Email, embedded Map etc. Can this plugin do that? ie. FREE is basic, then Bronze, then silver and so on.
