1. on local machine VC does not work. Installation ok, but there is no blue button when creating new page. Local machine is with Instant Wordpress.
2. on hosting VC works, blue button ok and possible to work but text editor toolbar sometimes disapears (only black box and white field for editing). This is on FF (actual) and Chrome the same. Even restart browser does not solve this problem. You can ad for example 3..4 textboxes without problems but on 5. it can happen that complete toolbar is gone. This is nearby to make the product unusable for me.
I use actual version of VC did buy and download just now.
Any ideas? Thanks.

1. This is windows related issue – that will be fixed soon.
2. You can manually activate WYSIWYG editor by clicking “Visual / HTML ” toggle buttons.
Using basic setup on my windows development server and I am unable to work on visual composer after updating it to the latest version.
Would be nice to have a fix for the latest version.

Just responding to you about my local install problem. I see that others using WAMP are also having problems, so I’m with you in thinking this is a Windows problem.

I’m having issues with the tabs that I need, if you could help, that would be awesome. 1) I get the bullet point icons in each tab, is there any way to remove this? 2) I can’t change the sizing of the tabs, maybe it’s the margins or the padding, I don’t know, I can’t find it in the css.

The dev is looking into this right now. Sorry for slow replies, I’m out of the office now (on my vacation), and I don’t have internet connection at all times.
Purchased today, added to a local wamp development environment loaded with wp 3.4.2 – plugin does not show up at all anywhere. Applying for a refund as well. Looked promising, but we can’t be bothered by paid plugins that do not even work as advertised. This should have been tested further b4 release.
May be windows is a problem, we’ll check that.

Question. If I have a responsive theme, how does Visual Composer work with this? Does it use the theme’s responsive setup or does ‘VC’ implement it’s own responsive code as well?

VC have very basic rules for responsive layouts. First of all your theme needs to be responsive (design). Then VC will collapse all content elements and stack them one on top other when screen is “mobile”.
The new black box menu finally came up. I have to agree with the previous comments. Its not easy to read, I much prefer the clean easy to read drop down menu.
Is it possible that the menu is causing many of the problems? I am still eager for a solution to the local host problem.
Plugin works without any problems in our local environment. Personally I’m using mamp server on my computer.

I need your help with some css and I bet it´s an easy peasy, but I can´t get.
I am using composer on my custom made home template and on this page I want to change the header titles in the post grid. When I change the h2, it effects to many other places, so I would like to insert my own css class. But I can’t figure out on wgich page to change the find the post-title class and change it with my own style name?

try to target your css rules like this:h2.wpb_teaser_grid_heading { font-size: 20px; }
This will affect only H2 heading on post grid.
h2.wpb_heading { font-size: 20px; } will affect all headings generated by visual composer.

Visual Composer settings are located in the Settings->Visual composer section in your WP dashboard.
If you can’t see Visual Composer button on the page creation page, then make sure you don’t have javascript errors on your page (they might be generated by your theme or 3rd party plugins).

This is related to the wamp users. Please install latest plugin version. This was fixed there.
Hi We recently purchased Visual Composer with extended license but we have two problems 1- Plug-in could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error 2-We are going to use Visual Composer in our theme function but we didn’t find any guideline about that

Bought this the other day when the “Error 500” problem was going on. Just downloaded the “Fix” version and tried it. I have to say I’m a bit confused… I watched the trailer video for the Plugin, and it looked really nice and easy to work with. Flowed nicely, and was very snappy looking. After getting to try this new version, with the black “Lightbox” that pops up, I must say that it seems very clunky now. —Moreover, I cannot get the plugin to “work”. I can’t edit elements, as the blue ‘Save’ button doesn’t function. And if I click anywhere else to close the window it doesn’t keep the changes. Also, after I finish “designing” a layout, I hit the “Preview” button, but it’s blank! Update doesn’t save anything, either, and I have to start over again.
Edit: I just tried the demo on your site, and my WoresPress dashboard does not move like that at all. I should note I have no plugins Activated besides VC, and I’m using TwentyTen theme. It seems like the jQuery elements aren’t working 100% either. Clicking on the 1/3 + 2/3 button only outputs the 1/3 and that’s it.
That’s definitely something with your install. Could you share your login details with me? You can send them from my profile page, I’ll try to help you in debugging your problem.

Have to say I’m with rhj123456. The black box interface is terrible. User interface in 3.3.x was fine – why fix what was not broken?
Previous interface had limitations. New things always feel like “it was better before the upgrade”, but please believe us, that you’ll benefit from this interface a lot! We’ll continue to work on this new interface and you’ll love it!

Thanks for the interests. This is the most popular drag and drop content editor here on CodeCanyon. But as you can see sometimes we have problems too 
(any software can and have bugs…). At the moment I’m out of office (on vacation), so response time is slower then usual. But I can guarantee one thing: we are working hard to make this the best and the only plugin for easy content creation.
What happened to all the text box tools??? I don’t like what you did with the new version. Going back to the old one, it worked fine and was faster to work with. Don’t like the black box interface, it’s really distracting.
I’m sorry to hear that, but this is a long time call. Drop down menu was limited. With new interface we have more freedom in the development process, where in the result you’ll benefit the most.

Please make sure you are using latest plugin version. For some reason your theme is adding extra backslashes in the html markup. you can check demo site to see that toggle elements works great.
