Hello there
I just bought your plugin and it seems to work as intended.
However, I have a question:
When I toggle the price of a product to “excl VAT” and add it to the cart, the product is added “incl VAT” on the cart page.
How do i change this? (So it matches the selected price)

Hey Asger I’m not quite following, but I think the latest version of the plugin should address these issues as the tax-on / tax-off settings the plugin uses are now more defined. Just purchased this and not seeing the “Tax” settings to edit the text in WooCommerce > Settings. Please advise asap.
I’ve just found the tax tab but there’s no option within there to add text or change it. Please let me know which option I use.
Also, when I click to toggle the tax nothing happens to the prices.
Hey vulcanstudio, I am sure the latest version of the plugin will fix your issues, but also to be sure, there are 3 main things that need to be done for the plugin to work as intended:
1) Tax Rates and Calculations must be switched on WP Admin > WooCommerce > Settings > General “Enable tax rates and calculations”
2) Tax Rate must be set WP Admin > WooCommerce > Settings > Tax > Standard Rates + Insert Row with your Tax info
3) Individual Product must be marked as Taxable WP Admin > Products > Product > Product Data > Tax Status “Taxable” (screenshot: https://cln.sh/w3ODpz)

Hi, I need to translate the text as the site is both English and Norwegian. It must show Inkl. and Eks. in Norwegian, and Excl. and Incl. in English. JHow can I do this? Using Polylang for language versions.
Hi, i’m trying to follow the instructions for translations as in translation_example.php but when I add the code to functions.php in my own theme I get this error: “Cannot redeclare wctax_text_strings() (previously declared in wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-tax/translate_example.php:10)”. Is this a bug or is it a workaround for this? I use Divi with a child theme, lastest WP and latest WC, except that this plugin and Wordfence.

Hi burakace, yes this should be possible. Use CSS to override the button styling for off state, and then add styling for on state using “on” class which is added when the button is active.
How can I refund this Item? I Bought it, but it does not work with bulk prices an the Theme Flatsome. It messed up the whole price section and even showed doubled prices.

Hi, we use pricing & discounts for woocommerce for bulk prices. Your toggle-button works with the article price for one item but not for the prices in the bulk-pricing table. Would it be possible if you could look after this topic? Hi, I disabled the floating tax button and using the shortcode. But there is no button at all on the Basket page… How to rectify this?
You can insert the shortcode using WordPress Actions or a dev can add the code manually. Likely a job for a freelancer developer if need straight away.. We are working on a big reworking of the code and this is likely possible in the coming months. Will keep you posted.

I’m testing your plugin for a new project and all in all, it seems to work fine, However one issue I am seeing is in the Mini cart. when prices are set to display EX vat. in the “mini” cart, the subtotal price is displaying correctly, but the product price is displaying including Vat with the suffix EX Vat. Can you check this and let me know if this is a bug or an error on our side. All versions of WP / Woo are up to date. and plugins except your and woo ate active.

Preorder question. Is this plugin just show price with/without tax, or aslo affect on cart and checkout. If I add product without tax to cart, iwi pay price on checkout without tax? Thank you.
Hey Verkkoverstas, the toggle affects all products, the mini cart, and also works on the cart page. The toggle is disabled on the checkout as it could be confusing to users and the cart shows tax breakdown based on user location anyway.

Hey Simon, we just updated the plugin and that fixed many issues. Not sure about the looping thing, but the latest plugin is confirmed working with around 50 themes we have tested so far.

Hi, after upgrading to WP5.6 we get a jQuery deprecation error in woocommerce-tax/assets/js/wcvat.js (jQuery.fn.load() is deprecated). Could you please let us know when we can expect an update for the plugin ? TIA

Hi, at the moment all I see on the page over to the left of the page is a box that says Include clicking it does change the price display but the button is nowhere near the price. Are there instructions somewhere to show how to change the text and location of the button please?
You can use the widget to change or you can copy/paste the code and use where you like.
