Hi, yes, at the moment it’s the only way to work metadata, but it’s not good. Please do something and fix it, any meta does not work. I found that this is also caused by “metainterval” if I put “5000”, this “appears / disappears” is faster, which makes me believe that something is not working well in the “player/shoutcast” relationship. I talked to my friend at Radio Unique and he has the same problem. Please fix this, “ownmetadataurl” is just for a temporary solution. The Visualizer support only works with a stream with CORS POLICY. What is CORS? Some devices/browser do not support the visualizer, because the required commands are missing: iPhone, iPad, iPod, Safari. In this case will the visualizer get to fake mode.

I don’t think my site has a problem. I displayed the player on the phone and it doesn’t look good when I enter the page, after giving a refresh it looks good. You can try on my site in the CHAT section …. there the player is displayed on the phone. It loads a bit big compared to how I set it, then after a refresh it returns to the right size. As for the metatag, I’m not the only one with this problem. I have friends who have this player and have the same problems. To solve, they switched to icecast, but for me this is not the solution. If you can help me it’s ok … if not … I’ll give up. Unfortunately, I do not receive the support I expected and this is not a profesional way…..i still believe i talk with a profesional person

Very impressed with the Luna radio player. I have most of it figured out, but still have some questions.
1. In Theme Settings, there is a field CoverImage. When and how is this utilized? I have added a URL to the field, but have not seen it used.
2. I would like an image to show when I have non-music elements playing. Is that related to the above? I would like to use a weather image for example, when the weather is on, etc. If this is not possible, could the player stop displaying the song once a non-song element is playing?

I have trouble with metadata but it is something that comes with newer version which I like very much!
I have followed your instructions:
php.ini: allow_url_fopen = On php.ini: disable_functions-parameter has no values of: CURL or file_get or file_put firewall from the webserver allowed cross-scripting
so Stream-ICY-Meta works but Fallback stops streaming data after a while. Own Meta Data URL does not work though is pointing to status.xsl.

I have the right player, which is for webradio. Other players display the cover coming from the metadata as well as the title. I didn’t understand why you get the covers from Apple Music. It would be better if you took it directly from the metadata.

It works with both. Common players offered by streaming services get the cover that comes with the mp3 file.

Hello. I’m a fan of your player and have been using it for a couple years now. Each time I install a new version I have to go in and disable the repeated image / drop shadow / blur feature, whatever you want to call it. I’m working on a new version of my site and rather than try to find that part in the code that creates that shadow of the album art, I thought I would ask you what I need to do to disable it. This is also a request to please add enabling/disabling shadow of the album art to the short code generator as an option. Thank you!

Never mind. I found it myself. I just added “display: ‘none’” to the definition of the bacgroundimage2 style in lunaradio.min.js and it works. Still, it would be nice if this was something I could toggle from config.
