Is there any way to edit the UI Color from the admin area. Or is there any video where we can edit the colors of the ui only. Because there is no point to have the default color. As my brand color is Purple kinda, some maybe blue or red. Id I can get a video where to edit the colors that would be awesome. Last night I spend straight 4 hrs to find the Color scripts line. But didn’t fin that. I have also tried using Custom cs but it didn’t showed up in the actual site.

I would simply suggest you to open up the bootstrap compiled files ( ex: themes/altum/assets/css/bootstrap.min.css ) and use search and replace, to replace all the colors that you want to change with your colors.
Keep in mind, any type of customizations are fully your responsibility and they are not covered by support.

I have done that still, didn’t find the color code for the Green color. I can see the color code in inspect mode but don’t see that in any part on the actual code. Ok we can stop talking about this topic. I will hire someone who will do that…...

I think I found a bug.
This is on admin > website settings area.
Let say I make changes on the captcha page or any other page in website settings. Then I save my changes to any of those pages. I noticed that it refreshes back to the “main” menu item. I’ve tested this many times and every time I save it refreshes back to “main” menu item.
That doesn’t make any sense specially if I’m editing one of the pages at the bottom and at the same time you realize that it was wrong. I would have to keep scrolling back down.
Not sure if this has been reported.

Oh ok. That doesn’t really make sense that it keeps reverting back to “main” menu. This is the only one I’ve seen that does it this way. Maybe that’s just a US thing?
So if I rebrand biolink to my own word it won’t affect the functionality of the application right?
Also, is this file required during updates? I’m thinking of saving a copy of this file with my edits so every update I can just upload my edited file.
An idea for you is to allow your customers to be able to re-brand on the website settings area. Allowing us to change the colors too in the website settings area would be a good idea.
As of now ALL your customers are using the same “turquoise” colorway. I’m referring more of a global color option. It doesn’t have to be robust to where we can edit every single aspect of the application. Something global that will change all the corresponding elements. I know I can css this on website settings area but it would be better if it was just a setting. Will the update erase my css?

You can rebrand the whole product as you want, yes.
I would suggest keeping a note of the original language file as well so that you can compare the Upcoming new one, with the original old one and see what has changed, so that you cand add / remove translations accordingly (to your custom translation file).
Rebranding of the whole website can be easily done through editing the original CSS files or via the admin panel Custom CSS tab, which will not erase your custom CSS.
When you modify an original file, you must consider the fact that if I personally update it in an upcoming update, that needs to be replaced on your side as well (if you want to update), therefore you will lose the changes if you simply replace it.
Some of my customers with more advanced knowledge are using GIT versioning to better keep track of those things.
I’m aware of GIT but have yet to give it a go. Am I able to push changes from there to the application? Or it’s just to keep track?

1 – How does deep linking work? I don’t see anything in your docs. Does it only work for specific apps? I added an IG link as a button on a sample page to test. It doesn’t open the IG app but goes to browser instead.
2 – Why don’t we have the option to allow button clicks to jump into a new tab? Is this already coming on a new update? I add an image block with a link. I click the image and it opens up a new tab automatically. That makes sense! I add some social icons below. I click those icons and it opens to a new tab. That makes total sense. I create a link button. Click on the button and it just refreshes on the same page. That doesn’t make sense. It’s much better if the regular link buttons jump to a new tab automatically. Obviously this is obvious for bounce rate. The user can always go back button but it just makes more sense that it opens up a new tab. I’ll be buying your block addons soon. Is it the same with those special blocks as far as jumping into a new tab? Hmmm I’m thinking now that deep linking will apply?
3 – Staying on the button link topic. It’s a great feature that we can add a small thumbnail to the left of the button. There’s an issue. Let say I add an image but decide that you know what I don’t need the thumbnail. I noticed that there’s no trash icon next or close to the image thumb so that it can get deleted? The only way I can get rid of the button thumb is to delete the button. There should be a way to remove the thumb without having to delete the button entirely. For example, if I add an avatar and decide to change it later there’s a trash icon right below it to easily delete it.
4 – How about being able to reset stats for links without deleting the links or biolink page? Is this coming down the pipe? As an affiliate marketer, I can’t just delete links especially if the links has been distributed and shared across multiple platforms on the web. You can say well just delete and rename it the same URL alias. I could do that if I’m the only user. I plan to get hundreds and thousands of users.

You can also push changes. I would recommend documenting yourself on how to setup and use a private git repo.
1 – There is no specific deep linking document, as it works differently for each app, each phone settings and browser.
2 – Why? Because the basic instagram browser that opens when you open the biolink link, does NOT support opening in new tabs. I will probably add this option in the future, though.
3 – It will be added in future updates (already mentioned in previous comments).
4 – This kind of feature is not planned as I believe I’ve only received it once a year. It is simply not in demand as of now and I didn’t see such feature implemented in neither of the “heavy hitters” other SAAS companies on the web.

2 – I tested and it doesn’t open in new tabs but the other blocks and social still do on the browser. The link should also be included regardless.
4 – Even so it just makes sense to have a feature like that. You say the other saas product don’t have it but at the same time these other biolink product don’t have a link shortener feature right…It’s fine if I’m the only one or a couple users using the application but when there are hundreds and thousands of users I can’t just delete and hope for the best. Deleting a button link for the biolink page is fine because it generates random alias anyway.
5 – Can google fonts be integrated to the application? Is that something you’re already looking into? Maybe a way to upload fonts. I use adobe fonts and google fonts
6 – How does stats work? When I try to pull up stats for the day of nothing shows up. It doesn’t record live stats? It seems like if I want the stats for today I would have to wait the next day. Is that how it suppose to be?
1 – Yep, exactly. You can’t control such things. The other way is to actually use a deep link format, such as: steam://openurl/<url> for the Steam app, for example.

I have a little suggestion, I was checking the new features on the demo and I saw that there is no button to remove the Image Thumbnail, only to replace it by uploading a new one, I think a button or a “X” to remove the uploaded image would be useful.

I would simply suggest to use the Custom CSS field in the Admin panel -> website settings page so that your custom changes to the CSS will be there all the time and not be removed on an update.

But for custom css what should I enter. I mean like I have done for the font. I have gone to font.php file then simply change the names and values in the existing code. Is there any file name where you have puted the color codes.

Regarding the first question, this item is not enabled only for VCard block (upload photo for thumbnail link) And for the rest of the blocks, this works well. Is there a specific reason why this is not enabled for VCard block?
