Hi! Pre-sales question. I have a customer that is an NGO and due to pandemic, they all work from home. They need to vote for board members. So, I need to authenticate them but also, nobody can manipulate the results nor view which member vote to whom. The vote must be confidential. Does your plugin support it?

- Yes, you can include your poll on a private page via shortcodes + set a role limitation and select the roles you want to allow voting. - You can hide your results from your users. They will be accessible via your admin dashboard only.

I’ve got my poll set up and working but (Pro version), and I have enabled the “other” box for entering a manually entered choice, but there doesn’t seem to be a way to view what people entered into this “other” box. How do you view what people have entered into this “other” field??

There are multiple ways to view the “other” choices that were proposed by your user depending on your configuration:
- If you set the “Allow custom choice (other field).”to Yes:
Your choice will automatically be added to your poll’s choices and its visibility will be set to true.
- If you set the “Allow custom choice (other field).”to Yes, but hide it until reviewed below”
The new choice will be added to your poll, but you will have to set its visibility to true in order to make it visible to your users.
In both cases, the other choice’s content will appear in your logs sections (if you select details on the list of parameters) and in your poll’s insights section.

I gave you guys access to check out the poll in the admin of the site. You identified problems with your plugin but I don’t believe anything was solved. The worst problems is that since giving you access, my poll has been entirely emptied out. All questions have been removed. Thanks for that – now I have to redo all that work. I’m the only admin working on this stuff so it couldn’t have happened any other way.

This is an impressive plugin. I’ve got 3 questions: 1- can the background of the chart be replaced with an image, so the chart is overlaid on a background? 2 – Can a chart be placed in a layer of an animated slider? 3 – Can an image be placed within a graph? For example, on the horizontal graph, each graph has a bar that has a value. At the end of each bar, it ends at that value as a solid rectangle. Can a small image be placed at the end of each bar such as a person’s face? Let’s say you’ve got 10 people and you want to show their numbers, but to personalize it, at the end of each bar are 10 different pictures of those people. Can this be done with this plugin? 1- This feature is not directly included on our UI, but we offer our clients a custom CSS feature, you can use the CSS background-image Property to add a background image to your poll.
2- Yes, We offer a shortcode integration method on each poll. You can copy and paste that shortcode into your slider layer to integrate it.

I have some feature questions. a) Are there short codes available? My purpose is to build voting pages for different subjects and customers to the one WP setup b) Can I forward results by email to my customers and setup automatically time based distribution of voting results to them? c) Can I build a page where only certain customers has an access to take overview to the poll results?

a – Yes we do have a shortcode integration method available on each poll and you can integrate them into your different pages.
b – That’s a great question, we don’t provide this feature at the moment, but we would like to get more details about your use case in order to share it with our technical team and consider it as a feature to add in the future.
c – Yes, you can copy and paste the results shortcode and paste it on a private page that’s available for your logged-in customers. You can also include voting limitations to limit the partiicpations to certain user roles only.

b: I am running an LMS (learning management system) and I have few teachers there. They would like to use polls in their lessons. That would be great feature, if I create a poll to the course and I could address the poll results automatically to teachers. Everybody saves time and teachers would be happy to see the results without extra hassle. I you decide to implement this feature, I am ready to buy an extension
Also question d: can any other users than admin create their own polls? Like editors for instance.
Looks like a popular plugin i should have in my line up. Question is there a …... ” ready made ” polls resource ? Like there must be a load of polls that are similiar that with a slight tweak can be used by anyone. Like “which fruit do you like?” “which frypan is best that sort of thing where we can download ready made ones??

Just upgraded to 4.5 when I try to go to the presets page it says to upgrade to pro. It is activated but I still get this message.

Also, why would you not make {{votesTotal}} not work in the content sections for example in Results>Below?? I would want to put a text under the poll like “Total Votes” and then {{votesTotal}}. Not behind every bar.

So I purchased this product here and then realize after the fact that (1) it only comes with one template (2) you do not have the option of buying individual templates you may need (3) what I paid for here is available for free on your website and everything else requires an additional $99 annual “Pro” subscription. Hi TotalSuite, in this case not a poll but rather a survey.
Take a map of a certain train line with all the stops; the person taking part to the survey has to point out which stop(s) he regularly attends by placing a pin or clicking on the stop(s).
My client is asking me to build up such survey in order to pinpoint in which areas of the city the vibrations caused by the subway trains are detected and cause disturbance to the citizens.
In this case it is even more complicated because the visitor can place the pin not only on some stations but potentially in the middle between two stations if his house is placed in an intermediate position.
I hope I expressed my need in a clear way.

It is possible to do that with either TotalPoll or TotalSurvey plugins that we provide. If you are looking into showing the results to the users, TotalPoll would be the one to go. Otherwise, if you think the information you are collecting is to be used by you only, I would recommend you try out TotalSurvey.
Of course, there will be no direct solution that support voting on a map, but it is doable as a customization on top of TotalSurvey or TotalPoll (again, based on your need when it comes to results)
