Hi, I had some problems while integrating your plugin into my wordpress theme and did a lot of uninstalling/reinstalling while forgetting a lot of times to write down my token and user ID. So I always created a new one. Now I get the response that I exceeded the limit and should buy another license. I know it’s my fault and I acted a bit headless but could you please reset this? Just updated the plugin and got a new access token, but the instagram posts is not opening to the caption… it just clicks to new browser to open the post in IG in a new browser.
Can you tell me how to sort this so it works like it did before where the image opened to the card?

Iʻm not finding an link to a video. I opened up the folder and found the instagram-journal folder which I zipped and uploaded successfully but there is nowhere for me to connect my IG account. I get the “add access token” field, but no way to actually enter my IG login to get the access token.
I got an access token from another plugin and now the only option I have is to enter the access token. no other settings, no other subpages of settings or options, and no Instragram Journal widgets in the widget settigs. your video shows how to drag files to an FTP server but I need help uploaded from within WP

https://we.tl/t-SbwUrka2sJIn addition, its very easy to add to wordpress without ftp. There should be a zip file in your package for the theme that you can just load. Otherwise, it takes two clicks to zip the folder and drag it into wordpress.

Hi, I absolutely love your instagram plugin. What is your return policy? My wordpress theme (twofold) is fairly locked down for customization (e.g., no widgets and limited footer additions). I’d like to see if I can finagle this into my site, but I don’t want to be out $20 if I can’t get it to work. My portfolio site is concertcapture.com (I’d like to place the infinity slider at the bottom of each of the portfolios and perhaps add “Instagram” to the menu that just directs to a page or post with nothing but the collage view). The jquery you told me wasn’t approved token. Please reset it. 2) This is WordPress 5.5.3 and the latest version of Instagram Journal. Why is there only one user mode on the new page? Gallery mode includes several classes. Is there any way?

Hi, Thanks for clarifying. This means that you are trying to upload the entire Envato package that they send you as opposed to opening the actual folder and just uploading the plugin.

Yes, we do support location feed but the Instagram team has informed us that they are limiting the permission to only large brands like Nike and Coca Cola at this point. That said, if you are purchasing for this reason alone, I’d advise against it. However if you want to display your own photos beautifully, this is the right place.

I’ll be happy to help you with this. Due to increased security with the instagram api, unless you’re using hashtag mode, you will need to have login access to connect someones account. Its against TOS to essentially steal someones photos.

It looks like something is inproperly installed. Can you try reinstalling using the documentation video included? It’s located in the documentation file.

1. I want to include in my WP site Instagram photos, not from a profile, but of a particular hashtag
2. When I create a new page to use the “code generator”, I only have the option “User” available.
https://i.imgur.com/D9lSsYB.png3. I have tried to obtain an “Instagram access token”. It took me way longer than expected, but I finally managed to get one, I believe… It seems that Instagram put everything upside down regarding tokens.
4. I have pasted my token into the “Access Token” field, inside the “Basic settings” tab of the “Instagram Journal” plugin. However, I have not been able to appreciate any change whatsoever.
After spending well over an hour I have failed miserably to make the plugin work. I do promise I have tried to check thoroughly the documentation, including the installation video, but for the life of me that I am unable to make it work.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I finally made it work after converting my Instagram account into “Professional”.
I would have really appreciated finding this information in the documentation. I would also suggest making a “callout box” or something like the creation of the Instagram Token, as that is an essential step.
I am still not able, however, to have all the options in the dropdown menu; just “user”. But handwriting the different codes (carousel in my case) I have been able to get the design I wanted.

Yes, in order to use the full extent of the API, you have to have to change to a creator account or a business account. It’s merely just a checkbox to be honest to enable features.

Hello, so here is what is happening. I decided to use the Access Token and User ID from a previous Instagram plugin that works fine. When I enter that info into Instagram Journal and generate a shortcode, after pasting the shortcode to the desired page it generates multiple error messages saying “Unable To Fetch Photos”.
