Hi, lots of elements create URLs. However I need to add onclick=”return gtag_report_conversion to some of these elements between a and href on a href output of the link. Is there any way to do this within WP Backery? If not, what can I do?

Just some info for people. If you have previously used Artisteer to make your wordpress theme and then used visual composer page builder to build your pages. Then your Artisteer them with Wordpress 5.5.x and visual composer will no longer work together. You may also like to know that the Backend of Visual Composer (which I loved) is no longer available. It seems you have to use the new front end editor instead. I understand there were technical reasons why this is – but I so much preferred editing in the backend.

Hey there, I have an issue with the bloat load of fonts.

The theme Xtocky loads ALL google font variants in stead of the ones used: Montserrat:100,200,300,400,500,600,700,800,900,100italic,200italic,300italic,400italic,500italic,600italic,700italic,800italic,900italic While i only set Montserrat regular, semibold and light (none of them italic).

Figured out where this lies: xtocky\inc\visual-composer\shortcodes\vc_custom_heading.php rule 50. Normally you would be able to change this via a tip from this article: https://pixl.my/ultimate-vc-addons-disable-modules-google-fonts-to-reduce-database-bloat/

But this does not work.

I really need to reduce this amount of loaded fonts which is embedded.

Xtocky states that I need to contact you guys about this? Csn you help me? PS I am not using an extra add-on for VC.

Recently, one of our administrators noticed that the “Backend Editor / Classic Mode” buttons were gone when editing a page. After some research, our developer found a pattern: WPBakery was not loading for any user with the roles: Member, Administrator (but it was working for users with roles: Administrator, Member).

One very important thing to note is that if the user has the roles: Administrador, Member; then the WPBakery features work normally. So, looks, like WPBakery is checking only the first role, and even if the user is an administrator, WPBakery will only take in count the first (member) role.

For our test, we revoked the role Member to one of the users (so the role was Administrator only) and added the Member role back (so the role was Administrator, Member) and WPBakery worked fine.

We use the “Members” plugin ( https://wordpress.org/plugins/members/ ) to assign multiple roles to our users. At the same time, we have used the Role Manager feature from WPBakery Page Builder for a long time without any issue, this incompatibility is recent. Based on the changelog, we suspect this bug could be introduced on version 6.4.1 (24.09.2020), as it had changes related to the role manager.

WPBakery ignoring new row attributes. I’ll set a background color, and it won’t show. Increase a margin, and it won’t update on a page I already have built out (like the home page). But, if I copy/paste the same exact row elements, it shows perfect in a new page, acknowledging the set attributes. But, for some reason it ignores all the custom attributes on a new row element I’m trying to add to a page.

New page, the row element works no problem, all attributes appearing on the page, but the attributes do not appear on a page I have already built. The weirdest bug. Ever heard of this?

The only solution I can think of so far is to add custom CSS to the page for the created row element, since there is no way to adjust the attributes on the WPBakery backend. Any solution to this?

The issue I’m having is that the loop is breaking outside of the column.

I just wanted to address an improvement that you can easily add on the next version of WPBakery Page Builder.

When you are on the Insert/edit link area and clicks the “Open link in a new tab” WPBakery doesn’t automatically add the rel=”noopener when there are links target=”_blank” there.

In Lighthouse I get a recommendation of Links to cross-origin destinations are unsafe.

Add rel=”noopener” to any external links to improve performance and prevent security vulnerabilities.

New tab links should look like this example:

This is very important standard and I hope that you will add this by default as soon as possible so our sites will be more secure and have a better score on Lightroom too.

How can you convert VC pages to gutenberg? Not add a gutenberg element to a VC page. I want the page to be firstly gutenberg and portions VC. Not just a whole “classic block” There’s no VC block in gutenberg.

AJ is right. Disabling Gutenberg seems to fix the problem. My guess is that WooCommerce new Gutenberg module is somehow incompatible with WP Bakery Page Builder front editor. The Gutenberg editor can be disabled either by installing the Classic Editor plugin or by going to WP Bakery Page Builder -> General Settings -> and check the Disable Gutenberg option.
