Can I use your solution to make gallery of my brand social mentions (from different sources: facebook, linkedin, instagram, etc) – but ONLY that consists of selected posts/urls, not whole streams or fanpages?

1. I didn’t understand what exactly do you mean of social mentions! If you need to get your social feeds by hashtag or search term, it is only possible on the Instagram, Twitter and YouTube.
2. If you want to modify your social stream and remove the posts you do not like you can do it by adding the links to removed items https://axentmedia.com/ax-social-stream-docs/#manipulation

When i connect my facebook account, and i select one specific facebook page to use, it actually brings other facebook pages from my account as well (even though i did not check their boxes on the list.
Why’s that? And it is always the same 3 extra facebook pages. It is not randomly i mean.

Hi,
The authentication process is only for creating an access token for our app to be able to work. Do not care about the pages listed in your Authenticated Accounts section. After you do this process you can get feed from any Facebook page you add its username or id into your social stream configuration page.
In the future release we will try to remove the unchosen pages from that list.

The “enter multiple IDs by clicking + sign” does not work because the user interface has changed but the documentation hasn’t.
Where there was a plus sign there is now a box with a number in it that can be changed. What is the new procedure for adding multiple ID’s and what is the number box for?

Hello, I purchased and integrated my social media into this, and it’s working fine with the layout that I’m using, but I wanted to use this layout: https://axentmedia.com/ax-social-stream/grid-demo-1/ and there seems to be a problem with the filtering between social media platforms to where it doesn’t filter to only that social media platform. (It works on the layout I’m currently using)
Also, are there any future plans to possibly remove the filter for individual streams, for instance if I setup a stream for YouTube only and included it into a page/post, that would be the only content so there’s no need for a filter. Does that make sense? Thank you!

Sorry to hear you are running into this problem.
1. The filtering tabs in the grid layout had some problems. We have fixed these issue in the latest version of the plugin that will be released in the next 48 hours.
2. Disabling the filtering tabs is also possible in the next update. You can use the shortcode attribute like [social_board id=”123” type=”grid” filters=”0” filter_search=”“] it will work in the next release correctly.

1. Before all, Instagram does not need authentication and API credentials setup. It is only required if your website server is banned on Instagram, Check this guide https://axentmedia.com/ax-social-stream-docs/#instagram-api for more details. You need to follow Method 1 if you liked.
2. Getting Instagram feed by Username in our plugin is stopped working, but you can still get any user feed by using its Numerical ID. Please read this article https://axentmedia.com/how-to-find-an-instagram-user-id/ on How to Find an Instagram User ID and replace all your Instagram usernames with IDs and it will continue to work.

In fact this is a normal behavior of the plugin on Mobile devices. As the masonry will be displaying very long on mobile, it automatically displays the first 2 items and the rest will be displayed on clicking the show more button by the user.
We can add an option to the plugin settings to be able to disable this feature if you like.

If you want to find all the tweets that contain the word “COVID” but don’t want it to include those of @reuters, filter the final results that the plugin will publish.
This king of filtering must be running on the API side. We can only run the filters on the data we have already got from the API which is limited.
But, on Twitter this search is already possible.
Twitter search API allow you to add or remove keywords or users from a search. You can use – operator to exclude keywords you don’t like to get. For example: #movie -scary
OR, to exclude some keywords from a specific Twitter account:
from:envato -Design
OR, to add some keywords to a specific Twitter account:
from:envato +Design +Web

Hmm … I remember using that kind of filter in Flow-Flow, so I don’t think there are any API limitations in that sense, then I abandoned that plugin due to multiple glitches. Anyway, thanks!

As I mentioned this filtering can be possible on the data we have already got from the API which is limited to 30 – 100 at least. I think the other plugin you mentioned is also running this filters the same way, as the API side like on Instagram running a filter is not allowed.
We will add local filtering feature to our next major release 4 in the future.

Unfortunately, Instagram has partially banned direct access to its website and getting Instagram feed by Username in our plugin was stopped working.
Currently we provided two different solution for it in our latest version 3.7.18 of the plugin which is already available for automatic update or download.
Solution 1 (any public Instagram account, hashtag or location feed is supported):
Enter the Instagram User Numerical ID, e.g. 4018952 – Read the article https://axentmedia.com/how-to-find-an-instagram-user-id/ on How to Find an Instagram User ID.
Solution 2 (any public/private Instagram account which is under your management only):
If your website server is banned on Instagram, then you are required to setup your Instagram API Credentials to get the feed’s data. Follow this guide https://axentmedia.com/ax-social-stream-docs/#instagram-api for more details.
After connecting your account(s) to the plugin enter any Username you have its account listed in Instagram API Credentials > Authenticated Accounts section in Stream Settings page, e.g. 500px
- Please make sure you are up to date with the latest version 3.7.18 of the plugin.

1. Unfortunately, Instagram has completely banned direct access to its website and many of our plugin features related to Instagram have stopped working. Our competitors are also troubled by the same issue.
The only possible solution which is already working is getting Instagram feed by ID.
If you know your Instagram account ID, use ID instead of username in social stream configuration form to get user feeds.
If you do not know the ID of an Instagram user, you can find your Instagram ID from this address https://www.instagram.com/microsoft/?__a=1
Replace the “microsoft” with the Instagram account username you need for its ID.
In the response of browsing to the above address, search for “id” to find it. We attached an example screenshot.
Please also make sure you are logged into an Instagram account while you browse to the above address.

We have also a backup solution for this problem and provide a fix asap.

in the latest version I saw that in the mobile version the “show more” button is modified by the js file “utils.min.js”.
the problem is that you cannot modify and or translate the “Show More” label, because it is written inside the js file.
