Since the last Wordpress update I have had problems with the plugin. All links on my website no longer worked. Then I deactivated all plugins one after the other. In the end, it turned out that when I deactivate the let’s review plugin everything works again. Is this problem known and is there a solution?
Hey Cattivolo,
The plugin was already patched up for this. It was a lightbox script and WordPress 5.6 quirk. Just update to the latest plugin version and it will all be okay.
Codetipi
When will this plugin be ready for Wordpress 5.6?
Hey there,
I’m afraid that plugin support can only be provided to confirmed buyers. Please login with the account that purchased the plugin or open a ticket at http://codetipi.ticky.com
Codetipi
Many thanks for your swift reply. I fully understand that, but before purchasing the product, I need to know if it will work on my Wordpress website.. which is on WP 5.6 at the moment. Best, groenekroket
No problem! But yes, the plugin will work fine in WP 5.6. If you do ever run into any issues when using the plugin, you can simply open a ticket in the support system with all the relevant info and the support team can investigate and fix anything they find
Hello there, i intended to buy your plugin but i wasn’t lucky to grab your offer. Are you planning a cyber Monday discount? Thanks in advance
Hey there,
I’m sorry to hear you missed it, but I’m afraid the plugin’s cyber week indeed finished that day.
The plugin is packed with premium features, design, value and the affiliate built-in features could also help make the plugin pay for itself, so I hope you are still able to consider it for your project

Can this be enabled for custom content type, like hotels and rooms? Also can this be used without a content type, ie create a review and embed it on a page with a short code? as I want to show the reviews on one page which will not be linked to any particular content type
Hey Dufferito,
Thanks for checking out Let’s Review.
Yes, reviews can be added to custom post types and you can indeed add reviews that aren’t connected to any posts. You can use the plugin’s shortcodes or the custom Gutenberg review blocks the plugin adds.
This is how all the reviews in this post were created: https://demos.codetipi.com/letsreview/bose-beats/
Hope this helps.

Hello, I bought this plugin based on the above, but the reality is, is that the plugin does not work as a shortcode in any popup plugin. I have tried 4 and none work. I opened a ticket 3 days ago and have to received a response, can you help me here?
Hi again,
Thanks for choosing Let’s Review.
You opened your ticket on a Friday evening, and as there is no support done on weekends, then it is normal to not hear anything until the next working day. I had a look now (Monday morning) and you’ve already received a response
Hope it helps.

Hi,
can we add user reviews to custom post types ( like Properties, Movies or Books ) as different review templates or should we add reviews one-by-one to every each eg. Books?
Thank you
Hey Vanetreg,
Yeah you can definitely add reviews to custom post types too. There is currently the main global default template, in the future there are plans to add options to have multiple default templates though.
Codetipi
Hi,
I may missed something but where can I 1) enable this main global default template for ALL posts by default, 2) where can I enable it for a specific CPT?
Thanks
Hey again,
Apologies for the slow response – you set the global template in Let’s Review > Default Values.
You can’t enable the review automatically for all posts though, because if you did, what would the scores be for each one, etc? You need to manually enable a review to appear in a post.
Codetipi
I see you support importing reviews from other plugins. Does this plugin also import from WP Review (MyThemeShop)?
Hey LunaticZorr,
Thanks for checking out Let’s Review.
Yeah, the plugin has a migration tool to migrate from other systems. Currently that one isn’t an option, but if your site has reviews from this plugin and you can share your admin login details, we can take a look at how that plugin stores the data and we might be able to add it to the migration tool as an option too. Send an email (Via Codetipi profile page here on Themeforest) and we can discuss further.

How can i change the background color of the affilaite button?
Hey Pie123,
You can open a ticket at http://codetipi.ticksy.com and someone from support will happily give you a hand

A Presale question if I may? Do I need to create a new custom sidebar for each post or will the sidebar review widget update for each post. Hope that makes sense! Also, Will the review rating show on the post images on the main home screen as per your demo? Thanks
Hey there,
Thanks for the interest in Let’s Review
The Let’s Review widget will dynamically whatever you set it to show. For instance, if you set it to show the latest 4 reviews, whenever you publish a new one, it will appear there. You wouldn’t need to create multiple sidebars or anything, just putting it in your global sidebar would show it everyhere.
And the final score can only be shown outside of the actual post page if the theme you’re using has the Let’s Review API code integrated – as it’s impossible for a plugin to automatically inject data like this into a homepage feed, as every theme’s feed is custom coded from scratch so they all work completely differently.
The theme you see on the demo site is our Zeen theme. That theme has the Let’s Review API integrated out of the box and it includes Let’s Review for free too, so perhaps you may be interested to get that instead and have everything running out of the box: https://themeforest.net/item/zeen-next-generation-magazine-wordpress-theme/22709856
Hope this helps
Codetipi
Hello, do you have an admin demo for the plugin? Or screenshots? thanks Jochen
Hey Joch6n,
Sure thing, send an email via the Codetipi profile page here on Themeforest and you’ll get a response with screenshots
Codetipi
Hey Codetipi!
I’m using Let’s Review since ~1 year and I just checked the Schema markup and Let’s Review don’t load any, even I have enabled the “Organization” Schema. I checked the source-code + the Schema-testing tool from Google and there’s just none of the Organization-Schema loaded.
What could be the issue?
Here’s an example of it on a test-site: https://sellmazing.com/5345345435-2/
There’s a user-review left with 5 stars, but no Organization-Schema output.
Thanks a lot!
Hey there,
That doesn’t seem right at all, the demo site is outputting the schema just fine. Did you test disabling all other plugins in case one of them is manipulating your site’s html output?
If so and still nothing, please open a ticket at http://codetipi.ticksy.com and someone from support will give you a hand.

I’m trying to find out if Let’s Review can do the following:
I’m holding a contest, and I want to create a voting page where people can vote for 1 or more of 7 total contestants (with 1 out of 10 stars), and give voters the option of leaving a comment.
Further, I’d like to have a leader board at the top of page showing the overall score for each contestant. And I want to enable visitors to scroll through all the previous comments.
On the leader board, I want visitors to be able to click a link leading to a unique page with info about each contestant.
Finally, I want to limit voting to subscribers only. And I’d like to send subscribers to a landing page where they can access a free download when they subscribe.
Hey there,
Many apologies for the slow response – there was an issue in the Codetipi dashboard that didn’t show new comments!
That sounds really interesting – the plugin might be able to help.
You could create a “Comment Review” style review for a post. In that Comment Review set up you add a different contestant to be a different criteria.
This would mean visitors would then be able to leave an individual score for each contestant in the comments section. They would be able to leave a written review alongside their scores. You can hide the overall average score (final score of all of the scores put together) too, if you don’t think it’s relevant to show that.
As it’s via the WordPress comments system, you can indeed set it so only registered users can leave comments (and therefore review).
You can then show a block with the summary showing all the average scores for each criteria (contestant). You can see the block I mean by going here:
https://demos.codetipi.com/letsreview/bose-beats/#commentsIt’s the one with the “VISITOR REVIEWS BLOCK” title in it.
The only thing the plugin can’t do is make the actual criteria in that block a link to somewhere else.
I hope this info helps.

Hello,
I’m having the same issue with the rating sliders on mobile that I’ve seen others mention. Is there a fix for this? Anything I can tell my developers to look into to correct or would you be able to take a look?
Thanks!
Hi Phanafin,
I’m afraid support is only for confirmed buyers. Please open a ticket at http://codetipi.ticksy.com and someone from support will happily give you a hand.
Codetipi
Just did that, thanks
No problem
Does this work for best product list? The demo shows only one product review versus like top 5 best laptops
Hey Build100k,
Thanks for checking out Let’s Review.
You can add as many reviews as you want, so you can easily built a top 5 laptop article. You could do something like this:
https://demos.codetipi.com/letsreview/move/Each review there is a custom made one for that post. You can of course use any of the designs, show criterias/pros/cons/etc for each review too.
Hope this helps.
Codetipi
Hello,
I’m about to buy the plugin but I have a question. I want to do a user driven review site. I will create like 5 criterias that will be same for all products. Next the products will be added and the users will review and score them based on the criterias. Can I implement the 5 criterias with the bars to the reviewed product site? The demo with user revies ony show the total score and I would like to also display the bars for every criteria (the average score for every criteria). Is it possible to add them so users can see the 5 criteris bars + the overall score?
Ow and also, do we have an option to set a user as a verified user (that have this product)? Or maybe I can add a plugin that can do it for me out side of this one?
Ok, so I bought the plug in with the recommended theme. And now I’m trying to figure out why comments are not moving the bars in the review post: https://ocen-hulajnoge.pl/xiaomi-m365-electric-scooter/ I’v added the widget in two ways and none of them displays the bars. Should it be like that?
Hey Odene,
Thanks for choosing Codetipi
I had a look and in the comments I was able to add a new comment and change the score bars without any issues. Is it all good now? I didn’t submit the comment, I just tested it.
Codetipi
No, no! I mean I can see the bars in the comment but not in the post that has comment driven rank! There are o bars in the post. And another thing. Every comment can rate, how can I set that only the first user coment can do a review and the rest are just comments ?
It would be awesome to get an answer for the previous question. And also I found a big lack of functionality. I’m doing a user driven review page. User using the comment vote are creating the product score. Now I would like to use in my sidebar the widget of the most rated products by… USER COMMENTS! I can only pick the editor score or visitor score. Thats a pitty! I need the visitor comment score.. The score is displayed on the product image minatures so it shouldn’t be any problem to add it to the widget?...
Hey again,
I saw that your tickets in the support system have all received responses over this, hope they help!
Codetipi
Ok, I’m moving to the ticket system wih my requests
Cheers!

Hey Hi. I thought that after a long time you should ask if you already know when the “Templates for Categories or Criterias” feature will be available? I had seen that the “Reviewer WordPress Plugin” was actively programming here on Codecanyon. I switched because not everything worked and there was no more support. Do you already have an appointment for the feature? What I might wish for would be a smaller or more compact “List of Reviews”. Maybe similar to a table.
Hey Senfdazu,
I can’t give a precise date right now, but that feature is in the Let’s Review development pipeline, as well as many others, so it will very likely happen via future updates – of course I can’t promise any feature 100% until it’s done though, as unknown technical issues/obstacles could hamper the development of them.
Hope this helps.
Codetipi
Hi Codetipi, many thanks for your response. It’s a shame that you can’t say anything more precise yet. Because it would be a good function. But I very much hope that it will come soon.
Ultimately, it would be great if you just change the “Standard values” page so that you can create categories (IDs) at the top. There is a standard category that is always active and then you can simply add further categories and set other standard values. On the post page you can then activate Review and then simply select a category so that the settings are then loaded. But are only thoughts. It’s always easier to write than it is to be programmed afterwards.
In general, it might always be good if you had a look at what the applicants (competitors) are offering. Some functions are then the standard and sometimes exactly the reason why you choose a plugin. And I could imagine that your plugin could become the most successful. That is also one reason why I do not want to switch to Reviewer WordPress Plugin again, even if the developer is now actively programming again. You program cleaner and the support is great. Even if Reviewer WordPress Plugin has a separate and independent user review system, which I would like better, I think that your future updates will also be very exciting. And I have found an alternative solution by offering my readers the shortcode “letsreviewuserrating”. So I can continue to use wpdiscuz and my readers can still give a user rating.
I don’t know how you can update the to-do list, but maybe you will publish the to-do list on your homepage with a voting function so that your fans of the plugin can vote which function from the to-do list Do list should have the highest priority. Perhaps you also offer that you can post your own ideas, which could then also be voted on. It’s very simple. But maybe this will help you as a programmer, knowing which functions buyers and potential fans particularly want. Besides “Templates for Criterias” I read again that many also want negative criteria, i.e. instead of 0 to 10, 0 to -10, i.e. a devaluation. Maybe that’s why it’s always a good thing when developers give buyers the opportunity to vote on features and ideas. One sees far too seldom. Just as an idea.
Sorry that I always write so much. I like your plugin and that’s why I always have so many ideas.
Hey again,
It’s no problem! User suggestions are what have made Codetipi products so good, as you guys are the experts at what you really need
I’ve copy/pasted your entire message to the plugin’s development list so it will 100% be re-read when the template system is being looked at.
Thanks for all your suggestions, you can keep them coming too
Codetipi
Is the new update only compatible with WP5.5? I updated and it messed up all the comparison lists.
https://headfonics.com/top-reader-voted-cables/Hey there,
This was fixed in v3.2.4 which went out earlier today
Codetipi
Oh thank god for that lol.. but no sign of the update in the plugin update notices yet.
It shouldn’t be too long, usually Envato’s server cache and your WordPress site’s wp-cron (the thing that runs every now and then to know about updates) take time to re-run
OK updated and all is working again thanks. Just to note, something to look at but the pros and cons fields are being seen as having mobile usability errors in Google Search console, for example, too close and too small together. You might want to test that.
Hm that’s strange, because they are just text, they aren’t clickable – which is what search console would point out for. Are you adding links?
Hey there, does Let’s Review now support custom templates? I mean, what if I want to output title, scores, individual parameters and their scores separately; would that be achievable ?
Hey there,
There is one global default template at the moment, however, each review can have their own critierias, scores, overall set up, etc. The default template is only to have a default when you create a new review, you can add/edit/delete all the options. Nothing is mandatory.
Hope this info helps.

Hi, I’m selling games on a website with Let’s Review. I want to fetch the prices via an API to display in the affiliate buttons (so you’ll see Amazon ($9.99) for example). Is that possible, or can’t I change the affiliate buttons dynamically?
Hey Ivarvw,
Currently the plugin does not use the Amazon API, however, if you use a plugin that does and gives you a shortcode, you should be able to put it inside the affiliate title to output it.
Codetipi
Ah, that’s brilliant! Works like a charm
. Thank you.
You’re welcome, happy I could help
Hi there, I just did an Update for the plugin. But now my widgets dont work. I could not find a fix. Could you please have a look? Sorry, but I don’t want to buy a new license to get support for this problem. The error does not come from my side. I hope you understand that.
Let me get your Email. I will contact you with the details.
Regards
Hi Ald2016,
I’m sorry to hear that, but the widgets work fine on the demo site and no one else has reported any issues. You will need to open a ticket at http://codetipi.ticksy.com and share the relevant url so the support team can take a look.
Codetipi
Hello,
we actually using ultimate reviewer plugin, but this only works with a page builder which we would like to drop. So i found your plugin and this is very intresting for us.
My question is, would is possible to migrate old review ratings to yours. In our case it would only the final score and a summary. Both has a unique meta_key that could mass change to yours via database?
Hey Playfrontde,
Thanks for choosing Let’s Review (I see you purchased it now), I hope you enjoy using it.
Yeah, if you know the fields, you should be able to do it by using the Bulk Custom Field Editor plugin, if you can’t find or need help knowing the specific Let’s Review field, just open up a ticket at http://codetipi.ticksy.com and someone from support will try to help.
