Hello!

Firstly thanks for this great menu. I am trying to use it with menu development website but I am having very strange issue with the menu. I used tabs menu and first group opens correctly with images when its hovered but when I go to other groups by mouse the images not showing up (just shows the texts) in the menu. If I scroll down in the website and everything works correctly. Same issue is happening with mobile as well. Could you please check what could be the issue and how to fix it?

you can see the website on www.glassmachine.com/cms3/

1- Try go to Machinery & Solutions with a mouse and you will see Glass Cutting Machines opens as a default and shows the images with texts. This is ok and correct but 2- When you move the mouse for Glass Sealing Extruders and Robots or any other menu the image will not show up but only the text will show up. 3- But if you just scroll the page a little bit the images will starts show up.

Its very strange…

Thanks for your help

Hi vlime,

Glad you’re enjoying the plugin – looks like you have a third party script, I assume an image lazy loader, preventing the images from loading. You should disable that from acting on the menu.

If you have any further questions or need assistance, please be sure to Submit a Ticket with a current license – all support is provided via the support center, not item comments – thanks!

Thank you very much. I confirm you that the problem was about lazy loading. I disabled it and its start working perfectly. But I have another issue now. Somehow my menu system changed from horizontal to vertical. Could you please let me know how can I fix it?

Please see the link below.

https://glassmachine.com/cms3/

There is a menu icon which I have to click to open the menu but it was not working like that before. It was working like your demo on https://wpmegamenu.com

I just want my menu to be in horizontal but it seems I cant find to make that.

I tried to create a new menu since it seems that the current one is broken already but I even a create a menu the system put a icon as a default to open the menu which I dont want it… on https://glassmachine.com/cms3/

Thank you

You’re welcome, I’m glad it helped.

Again, kindly Submit a Ticket if you need assistance. As I explained before, all support is provided via the support center, not item comments, so you must Submit a Ticket to receive support. Thank you.

is there any chance to hide the menu on mobile? It is looking not good on mobile

Hi cwilhelmy,

You can hide UberMenu on mobile, though what you use as an alternative depends partially on your theme.

If you are using UberMenu and have a support question, please Submit a Ticket and we can discuss options

If you have pre-purchase questions, please submit them here: https://sevenspark.com/pre-purchase and we can discuss further

Hello,

I have an older paid theme that came bundled with UberMenu, however, they have not updated their theme for over 2 years now. I am trying to use the Theme and I want to upgrade to PHP 7.3, but I get errors. It seems I need a newer version of UberMenu to avoid those errors.

Is there any way I can get an updated version without buying a full license?

Hi ryermolayev,

That theme is not authorized to sell UberMenu, so if they are distributing it as part of their package, unfortunately they are doing so illegally.

Again if you need to get in touch with us any further, please make sure to do so here: https://sevenspark.com/pre-purchase – thanks!

Yikes! Did not know that.

Strange, the theme seemed normal at the time of purchase and didn’t ring any alarm bells for me. That author has got a lot of themes on the market. Hopefully you get some justice here.

Thank you for the reply.

I have a client that has purchased this plugin. They are up to your latest version… 3.6.1 On PHP 7.4 they are receiving alot of PHP Warnings and Notices, but are unable to turn them off.

Short of editting your plugins code, is there a hook or action that I can use to turn this off in your plugin?

Hi kpirnie,

I have not encountered any warnings or notices produced running on PHP 7.4, nor had any reported. There’s nothing in UberMenu that actually outputs such messages, that is all controlled by your PHP configuration. Of course, WP_DEBUG should always be disabled on a live site.

If you have any further questions or need assistance, please be sure to Submit a Ticket with a current license code (you can use your client’s) – all support is provided via the support center, not item comments – thanks!

I may have to… I appreciate the fast response. Unfortunately, the site is a hodgepodge mashup that we may end up stopping support on… Thank you! :)

You’re welcome :)

Hi, pre-purchase question. Is it possible to replace a menu title with an image? Thanks.

Hi eyriey,

You can create a menu item that contains an Image, and you can choose to disable the text (or select the image-only item layout) so that the only content for that item will be the image

Hope that helps! If you have any further pre-purchase questions, please submit them here: https://sevenspark.com/pre-purchase and we can discuss further – thanks! :)

I would like to get rid of the hamburger mobile menu and start using a mobile menu that doesn’t hide menu items.

What kind of solution does Ubermenu offer in that regard? I.e. tabbed navigation or responsive menus that sort of fold in on themselves with a dropdown icon off to the end of the menu. Hope I’m getting across what I’m looking for here.

Thanks!

Hi jmrandall,

You can disable the Responsive Toggle and Collapse by Default settings to have the menu visible without a toggle on mobile, if that’s what you’re looking for.

Hope that helps – if you have any further questions, please be sure to Submit a Ticket with a current license code so we can help you out – thanks!

Well, it’s for a client so I will need to purchse a new licence but I want to make sure before hand. Do you have an example of what your talking about so I can see it in action? And what about a “progressively collapsing menu”?

Hi jmrandall,

It would just be the existing mobile menu, but in the toggled-open state by default, and no toggle. (So if you toggle open the menu on the demo https://wpmegamenu.com/ , it’d look just like that, but without the toggle button).

I’m not clear on what you mean by a “progressively collapsing menu”. Each of the top level items will have a collapsed dropdown on mobile. Any dropdown set up on desktop will be a dropdown on mobile.

If you have any further pre-purchase questions, please submit them here: https://sevenspark.com/pre-purchase and we’ll be happy to discuss further :) Thanks!

I selected the hide and disable options for a sub menu when viewed on mobile but it still appears on the home page but is not shown on all the other pages. Can you think why that would happen? The home page is https://www.waggawebdesign.com/

Hi wad,

The most likely issue would be a caching problem. If you need assistance, please Submit a Ticket with a currently supported license so we can help you out – thanks!

Hello, pre sale question. I have a mainmenu. When click on item it should go to a page and display a horziontal submenu (under the main menu). Can you plugin do that?

Hi ahimsaraffier,

You can create a single-row submenu, and you can have the current item’s submenu open by default (see this FAQ Open a submenu by default (current page or always) ). Just note that this is a dropdown submenu which can overlap other content, not a secondary inline menu like you might see on some sites.

Hope that helps – if you have any further pre-purchase questions, please submit them here: https://sevenspark.com/pre-purchase and we can discuss further – thanks!

Hi,

Pre-Sale Question:

Can I create a hamburger menu like this website: https://nference.ai ? I would like same mega menu, height, columns and alignment.

Thank You

Hi asadraza89,

You can have a single top level item with a hamburger icon, and you could create submenu columns aligned to the left. However, the effect where that menu overlays the screen from a fixed top point in a modal state, overlapping where the menu bar would normally be, is not something UberMenu would do out of the box. Your example is more of a modal drawer than an actual mega menu.

Hope that helps – if you have any further pre-purchase questions, please submit them here: https://sevenspark.com/pre-purchase and we can discuss further – thanks!

Hi I am interested in your mega menu but I need some clarity before buying because I have previously tried to install another plugin on my theme but without the desired results …

I use UNCODE THEME, this theme has an integrated menu with some default functionality: • Light / dark change based on the slides • Button Call To Action, with a separate menu • Ability to manage a different menu for each page • One Page

so I was wondering if your mega menu integrates with this or replaces it completely thus canceling these features and having to rebuild the menu from scratch, have you tested it with this theme (being rather used)?

Also I would like to know if it is possible to build the graphics of the mega menu with the WP Bekery builder.

Thanks for your assistance. Best regards R.

Hi b-jou,

Unfortunately no menu plugin is going to automatically adopt theme-specific menu functionality. Menu plugins work by replacing the existing menu entirely – otherwise you’d have a fusion of the two that would just result in a conflicting mess.

So the short answer is no, theme settings aren’t going to apply to UberMenu. If those settings are critical to you, the best option is going to be to stick with the theme menu.

As for WP Bakery, there isn’t any WP Bakery-specific functionality built in. If you had a shortcode that generated the content you wanted, you could potentially add it to the menu via a Custom Content item.

Hope that helps – if you have any further pre-purchase questions, please be sure to submit them here: https://sevenspark.com/pre-purchase and we can discuss further – thanks!

Is this plugin Elementor friendly?

Hi etherwebdesign,

UberMenu includes an Elementor block that you can use to add UberMenu directly to your Elementor layouts – see our Elementor Knowledgebase article for more info

Hope that helps – if you have any further pre-purchase questions, please submit them here: https://sevenspark.com/pre-purchase and we can discuss further – thanks!

Have a great weekend! :)

Hello,

i want to know if using your plugin can fulfill my need, Actually, I want to make a menu like Udemy. refer: https://prnt.sc/syj1cv

Making Sub menu and Sub-Sub menu of the same height.

Let me know if your plugin can do this, If not then please refer me a plugin that can do this, I’ll Appreciate your help

Thanks in advance :)

Hi IBSwork,

There isn’t a setting to do that out of the box (with a horizontally oriented main menu), but it’s pretty simple to force all the flyout submenu levels to be the same height and aligned to the top with some custom CSS – we can help you out with that particular customization if you need via support – just Submit a Ticket if you decide to purchase :)

If you have any further pre-purchase questions, please be sure to submit them here: https://sevenspark.com/pre-purchase and we can discuss further – thanks!

Error in the ID with Envato plugin Hello when I try to add Ubermenu with the plugin market package, it gives an ID error and I am not able to add it. I have contacted Envato and they tell me that I better talk to you to see if you can help me. Thanks in advance.

Hi putografik,

I’m not sure what you’re referring to. If you have a question, please be sure to Submit a Ticket – all support is provided via the support center, not item comments – thanks

Hello chris, I want to put on the menu a shortcode that goes to a specific page in which this code is! I did what I saw in the video but in the menu it just shows a blank without being able to click. the code is: [ihc-visitor-inside-user-page] and is a page that automatically declares the system to each new subscriber. can you help me ; ευχαριστώ !

Hi George,

Not really sure what you mean, please Submit a Ticket with a link to your site and a currently supported license code so we can help you out – thanks!

Pre sales question – I’ve looked through your demos and docs but can’t seem to find out the answer to a fairly simply question. I’d like to create a four column mega menu with top level woocommerce categories – I also want to put the sub-categories of several parent categories into the megamenu that are only shown when a user selects a top level category (collapsed) – can this be done with your plugin? could you provide a link in the docs where this is explained?

Hi rjmiller,

You can certainly add WooCommerce Product Categories to the menu, they’re just like any other menu item :)

You can definitely have top level product categories and then sub categories in the submenu. But I’m not clear if that’s exactly what you mean. If you could please send us a ticket here:

https://sevenspark.com/pre-purchase

with your requirements and perhaps an example of what you’re looking for, we’ll be happy to discuss further and make sure UberMenu can accomplish what you need :)

Halo, pre sales question :

1. with this plugin, can I make menu like in this web (https://www.gogoro.com/) the “smartscooter” image dropdown menu (same like that)

2. or like at https://www.niu.com/en/ with the electric scooter menu

thanks

Hi kharisazhar,

1. You could create that basic layout using Tabs with the toggles oriented above the content and image items in the submenu. The exact styling would require some custom CSS of course.

2. Yes, it’s easy to set up a basic submenu with images above your menu item text.

Hope that helps, if you have any further pre-purchase questions, please submit them here: https://sevenspark.com/pre-purchase – thanks! :)

Hi guys, pre sale question. I read the following:

Works with Posts, Pages, and Custom Post Types Works with Categories, Terms, and Custom Taxonomies Filter results by type, term, parent/ancestor, author, etc

Does that apply on product categories as well? I have a dropship webshop with loads of product categories. It would be very nice to make a decent menu that inlcudes all the main and sub categories quickly with a plugin. Is that doable with your plugin?

Hi Saikoh,

Product Categories (in a plugin like WooCommerce) are Custom Taxonomies, so you can certainly use those in UberMenu. We’ve replied to your pre-purchase ticket as well, you can reply to that email if you have any further questions – thanks! :)
