Hi there,
I have seen that you can do CSS animations when an element is within the viewport vertically. However, I want to make a side-scrolling website and so I’d like to know whether it is possible to achieve this when an element is within the user’s viewport horizontally?
And if so, is there anywhere where I can see this in action?
Hello, We have not tested such a scenario, but it should work fine with some js customisation to adjust as per the horizontal scrolling.

I’m not sure it works as I expect it. We can’t see option of font awesome 5. For example we try to use fa-landmark icon, but in icon list we can’t see this landmark option.
I know my support has expired, but this is not about support, its about basic functionality, I’m sure I’m missing something. Thanks

Hi there, there seems to be a glitch with the latest version of Wordpress / The Retailer theme. How to select how many products to display with the “products by category” WPBakery block? It only displays 3 products on computer and 6 on mobile, making it unreadable on mobile. Is there any way to adjust this?
Hello, The output of product category element is controlled by the woo-commerce and theme. The WPBakery Page Builder only maps the woo-commerce shortcode in it’s interface, so that it is easier to add it instead of adding the shortcode via text block element.

Hello, Button has an url field which allows you to enter the link for it. You can add any html code via raw html element of the page builder.

this is probably my goodbye to wpbakery as you never listen to customer issues, and just want to get the money and hear compliments that say you are awesome!
i got this plugin about 2, 3 yrs ago. and now i’m tired of doing things so hard with wpbakery
i will say my issues here, so maybe 1% you hear and improve!
otherwise, sadly it might be an end to wpbakery sooner or later as elementor came with things everyone needed, and you don’t listen!
1 – since then the RTL issue was, and now is a huge problem! not only in backend editor, but also and mostly in frontend. the frontend preview in rtl is out of style
2 – in front-end editor, when i want to design for mobile/tablet, i have to duplicate layers many times! and hide them in each device!
(in elementor you create a thing, not needed to duplicate or else
just click for mobile/tablet, and simply set graphic for it, and save! no duplicate!)
3 – after do 2, the code will be generated and available and rendered in html ! and terrible for seo duplicate content. it would be like i have 4 rows of everything, with the same content ! just to do a simple css for mobile !
but no! why? because wpbakery wants to do the things the hard way!
4 – after do 3, it will be a huge mess in frontend and backend editor, why? because now instaed of 5 simple rows, you have 20 rows ! create 4 of everything !
5 – the generated code is a huge mess too. look how seo-friendly elementor generates codes! if you deactivate the plugin you will see what mess wpbakery made.
6 – no tree view(or similar) for frontend! if we want a simple treeview, we must go to backend! or for visualcomposer site builder!
7 – no resize option with the mouse! in elementor you can resize elements with the mouse !
but in wpbakery as your slogan, we do things the hardest way possible !
we have to do things with settings, and continuously work with padding and margin!
8 – no setting to set height for row or any elements!! only width .
and only height option is euqal height!
but i want to set the row height to 500 px, and set inside box to 200, and next box to 350!
but again! we have to pay and buy visualcomposer site builder !
9 – not all of the plugins can be viewable with front-end editor!
i was testing unlimited addons and plus-addons and with frontend i saw this error (this preview is not available!)
10 – no seo options in wpbakery! but in elementor, you can set if this row, or this element is Aside? main? nav? header? footer? – elementor allows yous to set meta tag for elements in page!
why there is no seo option ? the most important issue all webmasters want is seo!

1) Can you please drop us a ticket via support portal: http://support.wpbakery.com/ and share your temporary login details, so that the support team can check it further?
2) Unfortunately, we do not have separate settings depending upon screen size for page builder. However, you can add an extra CSS class to the required element and then control it’s display using CSS media query.
3) to 5) We might already have an add-on for such functionality. You can check the addons section on codecayon to search using a keyword. Please do make sure to re-confirm the add-on functionality with respective add-on developer, before making a purchase.
6) and 10) We have such a feature in Visual Composer Website builder plugin for a tree view and editing header and footer. The WPBakery Page Builder works within the content area of page and hence cannot edit a header or footer.
7) The WPBakery Page Builder works based on grid system. Due to this, any element which is rendered needs to be confined to a grid.
8- The row height depends upon the amount of content added within it. You can set it’s height by adding an extra CSS class and then assigning a min-height to it.
9) The frontend display of a custom element is controlled by the add-on. It needs to have a frontend view specified in it’s code.
- The plugin is coded with SEO being a top priority so that any content rendered does is as per SEO guidelines.

but do you see my point now? that’s exactly the problem i’m saying!
you are saying this is a Visual page builder, which there is no need to code. use it without coding knowledge, and just drag-drop!
but as you mentioned :
2 – you don’t have a simple css setting for different screen sizes! and i need to code.
why not consider this simple option as important and add it in the plugin?

(why don’t you check elementor pro plugin to see what seo options are available to set manually by user for elements and rows?!)
why not consider this highly important option as a top priority and add it in the plugin?

Hello, As the license is purchased via codecanyon, in this case, you should import the license into your WPBakery account. To do so, you can login into: support.wpbakery.com/login If you are not sure about the login details, then use the reset password option and use the email id associated with your codecanyon account. Once logged in, navigate to licenses page and click on “import it” option at the bottom of the page. It will then prompt you to login into codecanyon to complete the import. Hi,
I’m having a problem with a couple of settings on WPBakery, on my WPExplorer Total theme.
How do I set the ROW element to display different background images, depending on which device they’re viewed on?
At present, I’m having to set two different rows, each with different image backgrounds, and having to duplicate the content within them.
This obviously runs the risk of a duplicate content warning from the search engines.
Doing this using the Elementor page builder is really easy, so why hasn’t WPBakery implemented this feature yet?
Hello, Changing the background can be done with some custom CSS. You can add an extra CSS class to the row and then using CSS media query: https://www.w3schools.com/css/css_rwd_mediaqueries.asp change it’s background depending upon the screen size.

I’ve got a feature to propose As your plugin have a template feature – it would be amazing to separate templates and make them editable, so people could save ton of time without manually changing templates on every page they’ve got it. I’m speaking for myself now – I’m using templates for creating beautiful woocommerce product description. Every time i’m in need of changing or adding a single element so it would appear on every product page – I need to do it manually. Hello, We have this feature in our templatera add-on. It allows you to edit the template and the change is reflected onto the pages where the template is added via templatera element.

Hello, We have existing woo-commerce shortcodes which are mapped as woo-commerce elements. You can use my account element which will display login form for a non-logged in user. To display blog posts, you can use our elements such as grids.

How to achieve a Fixed Height And Scrollable Row or Column
I want to insert a column inside a Row (or row inside a section) I want the column to have a fixed height (not more than 80% of mobile phone screen height). But I want to place a very long article inside it. So this means that the column will be scrollable, so that visitors will have to scroll that area in order to read what is contained inside
I built this page with another builder (my first attempt when I was a newbie), I asked for this exact help and got a solution. Since then, i have not worked with that builder, so i have forgotten how to use it. But recently my new themes are done with WPBakery and I have learnt some things and want to stick here.

Hello, By default the page builder does not support scrollable content within a row or column. This will require some CSS code customisation to set a height for the row and then use overflow CSS property to make the content inside scrollable.

I read a lot of replies here and saw that by default wpbakery doesn’t come with such by default. That was why I supplied as much information as possible, hoping that it will get me some help.
Being that the case required and how to achieve it with the other builder was given to me, I am thinking it’s just a matter of streamlining it for me on how to adjust it to work with wpbakery builder.
From the link I attached, the css solution given to me was
.scrollable-col .fl-col-content { max-height: 80vh; overflow-x: scroll; }
(The row/column I’d is SCROLLABLE-COL)
Pls can you translate it for me to work with your own builder? I am stuck in the middle

Hello my version is out of date, when I click on update in the plugins page I get: Update Failed: License is not activated.
But when I go to the license page it states: You have activated WPBakery Page Builder version which allows you to access all the customer benefits.
However I am still unable to update. My pages no longer display correctly. Can you assist please?
