Hello! Thank you guys for such an amazing plugin! I’ve got a feature to propose As your plugin have a template feature – it would be amazing to separate templates and make them editable, so people could save ton of time without manually changing templates on every page they’ve got it. I’m speaking for myself now – I’m using templates for creating beautiful woocommerce product description. Every time i’m in need of changing or adding a single element so it would appear on every product page – I need to do it manually. If I only may change it in a Template so it can affect on every page where this template is used. Thank you again, have a nice day!

Hello, We have this feature in our templatera add-on. It allows you to edit the template and the change is reflected onto the pages where the template is added via templatera element.

Hi , Do you have pre-built user login/registration modules for woocommrce and wordpress blog web sites?

Hello, We have existing woo-commerce shortcodes which are mapped as woo-commerce elements. You can use my account element which will display login form for a non-logged in user. To display blog posts, you can use our elements such as grids.

Hello,

this is just a bug report, I’m not looking for support.

With the block “Separator with Text” the “Element ID” value is not added to the page.

WPBakery Page Builder Version 6.2.0

Best Regards NexusFred

Hello, I tried adding the id to “Separator with Text” element: https://prnt.sc/syuq17 but it seems to be outputting it onto the page: https://prnt.sc/syuq59

That odd.

I retry with a blank page and all other plugins disabled. The CLASS is added but ID still not added to the code:

Hello, The element output at your end might have been modified which in-turn is causing an issue with rendering an id attached to it.

How to achieve a Fixed Height And Scrollable Row or Column

I want to insert a column inside a Row (or row inside a section) I want the column to have a fixed height (not more than 80% of mobile phone screen height). But I want to place a very long article inside it. So this means that the column will be scrollable, so that visitors will have to scroll that area in order to read what is contained inside

I built this page with another builder (my first attempt when I was a newbie), I asked for this exact help and got a solution. Since then, i have not worked with that builder, so i have forgotten how to use it. But recently my new themes are done with WPBakery and I have learnt some things and want to stick here.

I want to rebuild that page with WPBakery and also achieve that same thing they helped me achieve with the other builder. I dont know if its allowed, here is the link to how I achieved it with the other builder https://wordpress.org/support/topic/fixed-height-and-scrollable-column/

Hello, By default the page builder does not support scrollable content within a row or column. This will require some CSS code customisation to set a height for the row and then use overflow CSS property to make the content inside scrollable.

I read a lot of replies here and saw that by default wpbakery doesn’t come with such by default. That was why I supplied as much information as possible, hoping that it will get me some help.

Being that the case required and how to achieve it with the other builder was given to me, I am thinking it’s just a matter of streamlining it for me on how to adjust it to work with wpbakery builder.

From the link I attached, the css solution given to me was

.scrollable-col .fl-col-content { max-height: 80vh; overflow-x: scroll; }

(The row/column I’d is SCROLLABLE-COL)

Pls can you translate it for me to work with your own builder? I am stuck in the middle

Hi, we have received an email from Google Maps notifying us that the map embedded using your page builder goes against the API guidelines due to not displaying t&cs and also blocking the Google logo from displaying. Is there a fix for this?

Hello my version is out of date, when I click on update in the plugins page I get: Update Failed: License is not activated.

But when I go to the license page it states: You have activated WPBakery Page Builder version which allows you to access all the customer benefits.

However I am still unable to update. My pages no longer display correctly. Can you assist please?

Hello Rhohan

The support site is attempting to make me pay for support. This is not appropriate for a licencing issue when I have already own a previously functioning license.

Hi,

How do we extend the editor to include our own styles in the drop-downs for paragraph and for the font area? I’ve not a found good easy article recently on how to accomplish this task.

Please advise.

Ryan.

Hi,

I mean in the tinymce editor that opens when you edit a visual composer text block; where you have the option to change text to paragraph or heading tags. I’m looking to add span tag drop-down settings for colored text and other special styles.

Ryan.

Hello, The page builder uses the same tinymce as used by WordPress. You can use the standard WordPress hooks to modify the tinymce options as per the customisation functionality that they offer.

Thank you. That pointed me in the right direction and the steps were not too hard to get this working correctly. Thanks.

Hello,

I am using your plugin since many years. But in the latest Version 6.2.0 I miss the Background settings feature in the Row Settings. Now it doesn’t work for most of my templates. There is any chance to get this feature back?

https://imgur.com/a/MaRZAKi Thank you and best regards!

Hello, The background tab in row settings is not a standard feature of our plugin. It is a custom functionality added by the theme or a third party add-on.

that’s true, sorry my fault.

Hello!

I want to know if it is possible to add video autoplay as an element, not background.

For example, when adding an image.

Instead of being a muted autoplay video.

(compact solution for animated GIFs)

Hello, You can add the youtube video by copying it’s embed code and pasting it in raw html to then set it’s autoplay param as 1.

Hi, (potential customer here) I would like to know what the difference is between buying VC (AKA WPBakery Page Builder) here on codecanyon vs on https://wpbakery.com/checkout/ vs https://visualcomposer.com/pricing/

Here the price is 64$USD vs 45$USD on https://wpbakery.com are both of these lifetime licenses? If so why would I go with the more expensive one?

So whats the difference between them?

You have 2 different prices for something that looks the same… I’m lost here.

Hello, The plugin sold via our own website and the one sold here are same. The difference in price is due to the envato platform fee which is added when it is sold via codecanyon.

I have WPBakery for all my websites and themes. All my business is based on WPbakery, and therefore I am 100% depended and also limited to your page-builder. Therefore I am extremely sorry to see that you in 2020 – when all mobile apps and responsive sites offer horizontal scrolls – have not kept up with the development and trends. You should add option to add multiple columns to exceed the width, meant for horizontal scroll. And/ OR, you could very easily add a row-functionality to scroll specific rows (full-height rows also) horizontally. If you want to keep up with future competing page-builders and alternative CMSses, this is definitely something you should apply for next update. Actually it surprises me that you have not yet implemented this feature (which is not even qualified as a feature, but rather a MUST functionality) after so many years on the market as the worlds largest page-builder.

I am sure you have already considered this, question is: When can your customers expect this to be implemented?

Hello, You can enable the horizontal scroll by disabling responsive stacking of columns under page builder general settings. Once done, you can then increase the theme container width to be more than that or visible area. This will add a horizontal scrollbar to the content which extends beneath the visible area.

Hi, I have trouble activiating the licence. I’m taken to the WPBakery Login, but it doesn’t accept my login credentials from Envato. My username seems to be known, but not my email address. Therefore, password reset doesn’t work, either. Can’t log into the support site either, that’s why I’m contacting you here. Have so far only bought via Envato, but not actively used the plugin since purchase some time back. Can you please help me to activate my licence? Thanks.

Hi Rohan, thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, this doesn’t work. My email address is not accepted by the support.wpbakery.com site. When I enter it in the password reset field, it prompts “We can’t find a user with that e-mail address.” My user name is accepted on the reset page, but no email is received. Can you please check how I can get my licence activated?

Hello, Please drop us a message via profile contact form and include your email id in it, so that the issue can be checked further.

Hi Rohan, thanks. I send my email id to you through your Facebook page, as there is no profile contact option on your profile here. Hope that works. There, you’ll also find my email address for direct contact.

Hi, The Grid builder seems to produce very un-optimised grids with a huge number of requests, it scores very poorly in gtmetrix compared to other grid builders. is there any intention to update this soon?

Hello, Unfortunately, at present we do not have plans to change the way standard grids are loaded. However, we do have many third party add-ons which has their own grids. You can check these under add-ons section of codecanyon.

Any chance in a future version you can add an event handler to “wpb_prepare_tab_content”, thanks!

Hello, Can you please share more about what you want to implement and how it will benefit the same?

Knowledge Base · Official Support · Facebook · Twitter

Don’t forget to join our newsletter. Be first to get news and inside secrets from WPBakery team.

In js_composer_front.js there is a function called “wpb_prepare_tab_content” which basically re-triggers javascript as needed (like when opening accordions/tabs).

It would be nice for other plugin developers adding custom WPBakery shortcodes that really on javascript (sliders, carousels, masonry grids…etc) to have their own functions trigger when wpb_prepare_tab_content runs rather then having to listen for the tab/accordion and other events. So it’s more inline with how WPBakery is expected to work.

In other words have something like the following:

$( document ).trigger( 'wpb_prepare_tab_content', panel);

Make sense?

Sorry if I wasn’t clear enough!

Thank you!!

ps: I’ve written some code to make WPBakery Tabs accessible (add aria labels, switch tabs using left/right keys) – would be great to have the tabs accessible by default I’d be happy to share the code if interested.

Hello, Thanks for sharing further details. We will add this onto our feature request list. Please feel free to drop us a message via profile contact form.

Testing on latest version of the plugin and default WP theme the “vc_tta-o-non-responsive” doesn’t seem to work – https://kb.wpbakery.com/docs/wpbakery-page-builder-how-tos/how-to-prevent-tabs-and-tours-becoming-an-accordion-on-mobile/

Is this a confirmed issue? If not, I wanted to report it ;)

Is there a way in the code to decrease the size of the logo (or client) images in the carousel? I’ve increased the columns to six, but the logo images are still too large. Thank you.

Hello, The image size depends upon the available column width and the number of images per view. You can reduce the width of column in which the carousel is added, to reduce the size of images rendered within it.

Can not set accordion color, changes will not save after updating to wordress 5.4.1 and page builder 6.2. Everything was perfect before, now accordions are washed out grey with white typeface. They were blue before and working perfectly. Has tried clearing cache, resetting permalinks, updating page, checking and unchecking disable / enable classic editor, etc etc etc.
