This plugin can not work in multi-user mode but, can you explain what do you exactly need?
- Do you want the user to login and see his own social posts or the social posts defined by the website owner? If you mean to see his own social posts, how is the user adding the feeds?
- Social story is not supported.

And again Instagram is not working. I get that it’s probably due to Instagram making changes, but if you could reply to this that would be great. I’ve entered the client id in settings, but when I hit “Login and get my Access Token” I get a oath error page saying “Invalid platform app”.

1. Before all please make sue your script is up to date with version 3.7.15.
2. Instagram credentials setup is not required in the new version. All the feeds will work without it. Please leave those settings empty.
3. Clear the plugin cache from settings page..

I have a question about the Sticky Ajax Tabbed Feed option. Is there a way to choose different social icons? When not hovering over them, the social icons are small and the colors are white and gray. We would like them to be larger and in color. Is there an option in the settings to make this change?

There is an option allowing you to change the social media icons within Social Streams – Manage Themes – by editing your current selected theme. But, for the size of tabs, you need to add your custom css codes into the Custom CSS text area in the same page based on your need.

Unfortunately, Instagram has completely banned direct access to its website and many of our plugin features related to Instagram have stopped working. Our competitors are also troubled by the same issue.
The only possible solution which is already working is getting Instagram feed by ID.
The other features like feed by hashtag or location is not longer working.
If you know your Instagram account ID, use ID instead of username in social stream configuration form to get user feeds.
If you do not know the ID of an Instagram user, you can find your Instagram ID from this address https://www.instagram.com/microsoft/?__a=1
Replace the “microsoft” with the Instagram account username you need for its ID.
In the response of browsing to the above address, search for “id” to find it.
Please also make sure you are logged into an Instagram account while you browse to the above address.
Please also make sure you are up to date with the latest version 3.7.14 of the plugin.
We are also working to find a solution for this problem and provide a replacement.

I want to use my own sliders, grids etc to layout the items. I can customise the markup of a single item using your custom theme feature but I think I can still only use it with one of your predefined layouts (Masonry, Grid, Timeline etc…)? Basically I want a layout option that only outputs a list of items so I can do what I want with them.
Would you consider adding an option like this? I would buy more licenses if so!

If you want to add an extra layout which is using a different JavaScript library to display the items, it is not possible.
We try to work on a solution for this in our future releases but, at the moment you can only hack the main plugin code.

One more question will start a new thread for this one: I am thinking of on one single blog creating social media timelines for tennis players (500+ tennis players) each tracking their instagram and twitter and more… is there going to be a limitation/ban for such a heavy load on a single wordpress installation/instagram login?

Unfortunately, this plugin is not designed the way it can support adding too many feeds. It is not also possible due to limits on social API platforms. The maximum number of feeds you will be able to stream is between 10 – 30 feeds per page.

OK but I meant sitewide, like on many many different web pages (like a directory of players so each feed on a different page, but let’s say I have like a thousand visitors every day or something). Did you mean page by website or page by on each page?
I got it now. In this case where you would have social streams on different pages, there is no limit as long as too many feeds are not combined together on one page.
But, if you have a lot of requests to APIs you will get banned. You can check API platform limits on Facebook, Twitter and other networks on their developers websites.

Instagram only work ussing id not network in the shortcode. If you use shortcodes like [social_board type=”wall” network=”section_instagram{/}instagram_id_1{:}envato …....] it don’t work, but if you use [social_board type=”wall” id=”14” .....] it work ok
