Yes, it is possible using this plugin. We have the “Points Only” feature using which you can configure the products that can be purchased only using points.

Presale Questions:
1) Is there an option to limit the maximum amount of points redeemable per item or order?
EXAMPLE: Item A costs $100. The customer has 200 points. Two points = $1. He has enough points to get the item free (200 points = $100). But, can he be limited to $25, or 50 points, per item? Or, limited to a maximum per order?
2) If ‘yes’, can the maximum amount vary from Item A to Item B? Is the maximum a fixed amount (i.e., $25 per item) or percentage (up to xx%, such as 25%)? Or, a global percentage for all items?
EXAMPLE 1: Item A, is $100 with a maximum of $25 off using points, Item B is $400 with a max of $75 off using points. Or, a maximum of $100 per order. EXAMPLE 2: A maximum of 25% per item or cart. (Item A – max of $25, Item B – max of $100. Or 25% of cart value.)
3) It DOES look like the conversion of points needed for items can vary… Where in the backend demo is this option? (i.e., Item A, 2 points = $1; Item B, 4 points = $1).
4) Does the “conversion” remain constant if the customer has fewer points available? (i.e., Item A costs $100, or 200 points. Item B costs $100, or 400 points. The customer has 100 points – not enough for either. With 100 points, will they get $50 off Item A, OR $25 off Item B?)

1) As of now, we don’t have an option to set the redeemable points per item. You can restrict the points to redeem based on the order.
2) It is possible to set a maximum of $100 discount or 25% of cart subtotal for the order while redeeming points in cart/checkout.
You can find this option under,
WooCommerce -> SUMO Reward Points -> Modules -> Redeeming Points -> Redeeming Restriction -> Maximum Redeeming Threshold Value (Discount) Type
3) & 4) As we already said points to redeem cannot set based on each item. Hence, the feature you are looking for can’t be configured using this plugin. You can restrict the users while applying points for their orders using the restriction options given in the “Redeeming Points” Module.

Thank you for the reply. To followup… (#3) – To change it around, different conversions can be assigned, right? In the demo,purchasing “Woo Album #1” earns 10 points ($10 = 1 point), while “Woo Album #2” earns 20 points ($6 = 1 point). So, this is obviously done on a ‘per product basis’, correct?

1) FYI, now you are mentioning about the earning points for product purchase action[Woo Album #1 & #2].
If you are referring to earning points, then you can configure based on “Per Product Basis”/”Cart Total” with Fixed Points/Percentage of Product Price/Cart Total. Also, you set different points to earn for each product as per your needs.
2) Whatever we have mentioned previously was about the “Redeeming Points” scenario.
i) We are displaying redeeming points field in cart & checkout using which users can redeem their certain points to get a discount on their future orders. We don’t have an option to set maximum redeeming points based on per product.
ii) Also, we have “Only Point Price” feature using which you can configure the products that can be purchased only using points.

ii) Please note our referral system supports only single level based, not a multi-level system. Hence, referral points[100%] will be awarded to the corresponding referrer & split up is not possible here.

I just want to check, If we use this plugin, is it possible to have a system set up wherein users can sign up to different membership plans, and each plan will unlock different points earnings? So say member level 1 earn 20 points per $100 and level 2 earns 30 points per $100?
Would it also be possible to set free shipping for members of a certain level and apply a percentage discount etc?

i) We have given compatible with our “SUMO Memberships” Plugin using which you can set the earning percentage for each membership plan that will reflect on all points awarding action.
ii) No, it is not possible to set free shipping and discount based on certain member level.

I cant seem to find out where to reward users for sharing a coupon. It does mention “referrals” and “coupons” in the description though? I would prefer if my clients can share a unique coupon (which i set up in coupons) and they earn the points?

i) Referral Account Signup Points – The person registers on the site using a referral link.

3) We have a “WooCommerce Coupon Reward Points” feature using which you can award points to your users when they use the valid coupon in the order.

i) Yes, it is possible. Please check by using the below settings,
WooCommerce -> SUMO Reward Points -> Modules -> Product Purchase -> Product Purchase Reward Points Global Settings
- Select Advanced Setup
- Save the settings so that you can see the reward points settings in each product using which you can set the points as per your needs.
Note: For “Simple Product”, you can see the settings in “General Section” whereas you can see the settings in each variation for “Variable products”.

i) We have given a “Cashback” Module in this plugin using which you can allow your users to exchange their earned points for money to their account by providing the required details given on “Cashback Request Form”.
Users can use the payment method either “PayPal Payment” by providing PayPal ID or “Custom Payment” option.

i) Using the “Update Expired Points” button, you can manually check your users expired points details.
For example: If your user didn’t comes to your site for a long time, then their expired points will not be updated automatically. Using this button, you can manually check it.
ii) After using this button, you can see the updated expired points details under
WooCommerce -> SUMO Reward Points -> User Reward Points -> Total Expired Points Column.
