Hey there, I really like the way you designed and created this plugin. But before purchasing it, I have a few questions. 1: I have AMP activated on my website, and as you know, AMP can literally remove all the CSS. I was wondering if it’s compatible with AMP? 2: What is the best AMP plugin to use with this plugin? 3: Can I shortcode the reviews that I create?
Thanks and Stay Safe, Wahid
Hey Wahid,
Thanks for checking out Let’s Review.
1- Yes, the plugin is fully AMP compatible, the plugin adds review styling to AMP mode
2- I’d recommend using one of the two most popular ones.
3- Yes, there are shortcodes and Let’s Review Gutenberg blocks. So it’s very easy to add new or existing reviews anywhere.
Hope this helps and stay safe too!

I have 2 questions before buying
1) Today I use a review plugin named “WP Rich Snippets”. Can I easily migrate current reviews/ratings from that plugin without manually copying everything? Since the author behind “WP Rich Snippets” has stopped maintaining it, I guess there would be other potential customers that are looking for an easy way to migrate out.
2) Do you support WebApplication schema, with options to set operatingSystem & applicationCategory etc?
hey Loenne,
Thanks for checking out Let’s Review.
1- Let’s Review’s migration tool doesn’t have that particular plugin on it (I’ve never heard of it until just now). So I’m afraid that you will either need to manually convert your reviews or hire a developer to help you migrate them programatically.
2- No, the plugin doesn’t have the WebApplication schema. The plugin only includes ones that are currently valid for review schemas (Game, Product, etc),
Hope this info helps.

pre sales question. can we set the overall score of the product based on user reviews? this way i want to build a site with user based reviews. is it possible with your plugin? I’m looking forward to purchase this.
Hey there,
Thanks for checking out Let’s Review.
Yes, each post review has multiple modes you can set to it:
1- Editor Review
2- Editor Review with User Rating
3- User Ratings only
4- User Reviews (Via comments)
You can use option 3 or 4, depending on your needs, to make the review score be user generated.
Hope this helps.

Thanks a lot for your reply. As you say I can set User rating & comments – then generate a score based on user rating n reviews. Great! Will it be possible to have the “is this a review” button before the comment section? is it something i could add via a code? or would you be able to do it only for my use case?
You’re welcome
I’m afraid the Is this a review button is part of the comment system, so it can’t be moved. However, if you set it to Review Option 4, the boxes that appear will show a “leave a review” button when hovered over.
Check it out:

Hi,
AFAIK this plugin doesn’t support review templates for different custom post types or for a specific selection of them ( like specific Woocommerce product categories or different directory items like real estates, works of arts, cars, sport equipments etc. not in a shop ).
I like this plugin but creating reviews one-by-one is not too timesaving and efficient.
Would you consider to add this feature in the near future? Or do you have a good idea how could we spare most of our time?
Thank you!
Hey Vanetreg,
Currently the plugin only has one default template that can be used, but a system for multiple templates is on the to-do list, so will definitely be possible in a future update, but I’m afraid i don’t have an exact date for this feature at the moment.

I’d like to know if it’s compatible with the orbital theme
thanks
Hi Seoinversion,
Thanks for choosing Let’s Review, I hope you enjoy using it
I’ve never used that theme, but if it’s written with normal WordPress coding standards, then the plugin should work fine – as the plugin uses all best coding practises + standard WordPress methods to work. This ensures maximum compatibility with as many themes as possible
Codetipi
Hi !
It is possible to create various review option for the same post for example :
Beauty Gameplay Difficulty Options
And also. This options will be available to show on the archive post page? Or use as filters?
Hey there,
Thanks for checking out Let’s Review
Do you mean set your own criterias in a review? If so, yes, every post can have its own set of criteria. You can add as many as you want and set the title for each one.
By show on the archive post page, do you mean to show the final score on the homepage? If so, it depends on what theme you are using. If you are using one of Zeen/15Zine/Valenti themes, then yes the score will appear automatically as those themes have the plugin’s API integrated already.
If you use another theme, you can still do it but you need to integrate the plugin’s API into your theme, because every theme codes the posts on the homepage completely differently, so it’s impossible for the plugin to automatically inject the score in there without an API.

Genial!. Vale

Hello, I have one pre-sales questrio. I was wondering if this plugin supports schema type Creativeworkseries? Thanks
Hey Mpankov,
Thanks for the interest in Let’s Review.
Review schemas are very limited to a few specific schemas, and Creativeworkseries can’t have a review. I found this thread actually of someone asking about it too: https://support.google.com/webmasters/thread/23156303?hl=en
The plugin only has Review schema options included that are 100% validated by Google. As of this writing anyway, as Google is known to change it all every now and then to stop spammers from abusing whatever the latest requirements are.

Hi, I currently use WP Product Review Lite on my website and have over 600 reviews.
I want to purchase Let’s Review, but want to know if I can successfully migrate my review data, as the rating system in WP Product Review is out of 100 for each criteria.
Can you confirm migration will work correctly without causing any conflict in the formatting and display of review scores?
Hey Nickjanks,
Thanks for the interest in Let’s Review
Yes, the plugin has a migration tool to automatically convert WP Product Review plugin reviews and I know of some users who have used it successfully. The plugin will use whatever you have set too, so if it’s out of 100, then your migrated Let’s Review reviews will be from 0-100 too.
If you run into any problems – such as some data didn’t migrate, or anything like that, you can open up a support ticket and you will get help with it – so have no worries about it.
As it’s such a big site, I’d recommend making a backup before doing any big changes though. Always best to be on the safe side
Hope this helps.

Does your plugin do comparison tables?
Hey Findlay3532,
Thanks for checking out Let’s Review.
The closest to that is the List feature, which you can see in action here:
https://demos.codetipi.com/letsreview/iphone-xi/This feature allows you to create a list of your reviews.
Hope this helps.
Codetipi
Hi Codetipi !
Long time we didn’t talk.
Sorry to bother but I have a weird behavior with the plugin and just want to know if it’s normal or if it is a known problem. When “visitor ratings” is activated and “Review style” is set to “Custom Image” or “Custom Icon”, the custom element is displayed correctly in the review box at the bottom of the post. But inside comments with reviews, either nothing appears or the star icon is being used. It looks like the “Review Style” is not applied (or wrongly) to the comments section. Here is an example: https://jeux.dokokade.net/2011/04/06/les-voyageurs-du-temps-la-menace-1989/#comments (Joysticks in review box and stars in comments with reviews).
Is it normal?
Hey FLQA,
Hope you’re well
Ah yes, this is currently on purpose, but it is on the to-do list, so in a future update the comments will also load custom icons/images too
Codetipi
Hi Codetipi,
Everything ok here, thanks.
Ok, thanks for the information. I’ll keep an eye on the content of upcoming updates then.
Take care!
Fred
No problem
How can i create this kind of list post?
https://demos.codetipi.com/letsreview/iphone-xi/is this still possible with the newest version of the plugin? Is this possible with the gutenberg editor or just with the classic editor?
Hey there,
Currently it is indeed a shortcode, but you can still add it in Gutenberg by adding the Classic block in there (it’s an actual block in Gutenberg), and you’ll see the Let’s Review shortcode interface appear in the toolbar inside that block so you can easily add it there.
Hope this helps.

Hi Codetipi, Let’s Review loads unnecessary .js and .css files to every page of the site. How can I make those load only when necessary (just like how other Gutenberg blocks do)?
Hi there,
The reason for this is that it isn’t possible to detect if you’re loading the Let’s Review widget on x page, or if you have infinite post load, or are showing the scores outside of the post via the API, etc, etc. So the plugin has to load the css/js to avoid problems. Gutenberg parses the content area, it has nothing to do with widgets/homepage blocks/etc, that is why it can do that.
But there is no problem with this at all, the files gzipped are less than 30kbs in file size.
Perhaps an option to not load them outside of the post could be added though, as users who 100% know they don’t need them could have that micro boost in loading time.
Codetipi
I will go with an alternate approach then. Since I only use reviews in certain categories of gauravtiwari.org, I will unload all scripts & stylesheets if the post is not in those specific categories.
Yeah you can do it manually to by dequeuing the scripts/stylesheet too
Hello, I left you messages at https://codetipi.ticksy.com/tickets/ but I received no response. I wanted to have some answers before generalizing the raitings on all my articles. thank you, Regards, Daniel
Excuse me, I just realized it was the weekend, so ignore my previous post. Thank you.
Hey Mailpro,
It’s no problem, you should receive a response today

The new Up Down Votes in Normal Comments option does not work in the latest update.
https://headfonics.com/2020/05/satin-audio-zeus-reviewCache cleared and option turned on.
Hey there,
I think that may be because that is a review post, did you enable the review comments up down votes option too? That one would apply there I believe.
Codetipi
So if you are only showing normal comments, to get the thumbs up and down for that you have to turn on review thumbs up and down comments also? I have review comments turned off currently.
I think the normal comments option only applies to normal posts, the “Up Down Votes in Comment Reviews” applies to comments in posts with reviews. I think there may be a slight gap/overlap somewhere in the logic that may need tweaking if the above isn’t true.
so if you do a post, then add a review score via Lets review but have normal comments below it wont work?
I think the other option may apply then, but I need to investigate that scenario, leave it with me, will be looked at for the next update.
ok thanks
No problem!
Is this a review question, can that be removed?
Hey again,
There is an option to make the default answer to that be “yes”, so if you do that + add a bit of custom css to hide the question in the frontend, then yeah, you’d have that set up.
The css you would need to hide the question would be:
.lets-review-form-onoff { display: none; }
Hope this helps.
Codetipi
Ok, can the visitor just rank by 1-5 star and a comment instead of sliders?
Hey there,
Thanks for checking out Let’s Review. Yes, the comment reviews can indeed show stars if the main review on the post is set to Stars, however, when the visitors are literally setting the scores, the interface they use is via sliders (that go from 0-5 though).
Hope this helps.

Hello. I’am still taking notes from this plugin.
Before buying it: Can we use also the thumbs up / down feature in user coments without reviews attached ?
Hey Willkar24,
Thanks for checking out Let’s Review
The thumbs up/down feature is indeed only possible on comments with reviews, an option to enable it on all comments could be added though. Is that what you’d hope for?
Codetipi
Hello. Yes, exactly codetipi. Is that possible?
It wasn’t possible to do, but in the v3.1.7 update that’s just been released, a new option to enable them on normal comments was added
Wow, that’s was fast
Glad to see that update. But, i see that the latest update in here still says 3.1.6.
Forgot to add the changelog here, you can see it now
Hello, Is it compatible with WPML for multi-language sites? thank you, Regards, Daniel
Hey Daniel,
Thanks for the interest in Let’s Review.
I’m not entirely sure about WPML as they haven’t been tested together, but if they don’t work together out of the box, then you can report it over to the Codetipi support system and it will 100% be tweaked until it works with WPML, as we want Let’s Review to work with it.
Hope this helps.
Codetipi
Hello,
Thank you for your reply.
Normally, if each of the labels and custom texts are properly tagged, WPML should find all of the strings.
Once found, the strings can be translated and be displayed in the correct language.
This week I will buy your plugin and we will test it immediately.
Thank you,
Regards,
Daniel
Hey Daniel,
You’re welcome
Sounds great, if you find a custom field is missing, simply open a ticket at http://codetipi.ticksy.com and report it. It will 100% be fixed as we want Let’s Review to work 100% well with WPML

I have requested a refund. Please finally answer.

How can I download the latest version of this and keep it updated? I have 3.0.0 but any time I try to download from Codecanyon it gives me version 2? I’d like to have the latest 3 release.
Hey Patrick,
Hm, that’s very strange, I just downloaded the file from CodeCanyon and it’s definitely the latest one.
Is there any chance you may have lots of download files and be opening an old you downloaded a long time ago? Please try to download it again and click the file you download directly in the browser.
Hope this helps.
Codetipi
Hi, no, it’s not an old file. I just tried a different browser in a private window to make sure it wasn’t a caching issue either…the readme.txt file in the downloaded ZIP file still says 2.0.0.
Ahhh I see, that readme is actually outdated and incorrect. That is the real latest version – But WordPress reads the version marked in lets-review.php file (which shows correct version). The readme.txt has been fixed now so will show correct version from the next update. Thanks for reporting!
