HI There, I am looking for a plugin that will allow me to pull in feeds from famous peoples social media accounts – is this the plugin form me? It looks like it and it would be excellent.

The problem was about your theme custom builder Massive Builder which was disabling functioning of WPBakery elements. I fixed the problem by adding the plugin shortcode inside a Text element using the Massive Builder page editor on your website.

At the end of the cache, the pages open for a very long time and give a 500 error until you refresh it two or three times. This is very bad for my users. The cron command saves me, but I have to do four commands, one command per page. But I would like it to be implemented by the author of this plugin. For example, immediately after the end of the cache, cron would start. That would be good. Perhaps you do this in the next update?

1. Yes, LinkedIn has been taken off from our script about couple of months ago because it was no longer accepting social feed displaying apps to connect to its API.
2. Yes, we have a LinkedIn API v2 supported release of this plugin that we can provide you but, you need to use your own LinkedIn app and get r_organization_social permission approved for your app or find and create an access token using a LinkedIn App which has the r_organization_social permission already approved.

The plugins is getting the date and time zone setting from the WordPress. You can simply set it via WordPress general settings page > timezone.

Sorry but, I couldn’t exactly understand what do you have problem with but, if you want to know how you can define the number of results you get on each request on load more, the option is located in Social Streams > Stream Settings > Display Setting > Results Limit

A pre-sale question. Your plugin has the option to ‘filter’ posts. But as far as I can see the procedure is as follows: a feed is downloaded and can be added with other feeds to make a stream. So far so good, but to filter out the ones that don’t fit, you have to manually select them and add their identification number to remove them. Whilst that may work fine if I run a feed update I really don’t want to add those to exclude one by one as with some feeds with another comparable plugin I find I need to exclude nearly 90%. Would it not be possible to add some option, only available for admins/editors, within the post itself to simply choose ‘include/exclude’ and, even better, to choose beforehand what the default would be? That way I could set those feeds with many ‘wrong’ posts to a default ‘exclude’ and vice versa.

This plugin is not the reason for that for sure as it has nothing to do with your Facebook account. It follows the Facebook rules and works with the official Facebook API. This is not also reported by any other user before.

If you mean labeling the top filtering buttons, it is possible using the custom filtering feature. Follow the steps below:
1. From the “Manage Streams” page, edit your social stream.
2. Within the “Edit Social Stream” page, scroll down to the “Extra Filtering Tabs” section.
3. There you can add your custom filtering tabs. You can use a manual search term e.g. paris [OR] copy/paste a feed filter keyword from the Social Stream Configuration section e.g. .facebook-1-0 or .rss-1-1.
4. To disable the current simple filtering buttons, you should go to the “Stream Settings > Display Setting” tab and disable them from “Filter Networks Ordering/Visibility” section.

Is there a reason why the social wall only shows about 10px of the firstfacebook post and when I inspect I can see that all the posts are in one jumbled line down the left. I have disabled all plugins and themes and it was still happening.

I cannot get the stream to load. I receive this message: AX Social Stream: The selected theme is not created for this layout! “Masonry” is Enabled under Layouts tab. “Modern Light” theme is selected under “Display Settings”. Shortcode is: [social_board id=”3614” type=”wall”] I am stuck, I’ve tried all themes with all layouts and different shortcodes and still get this message every time.

Please check the following:
1. Make sure you have enabled all the layouts within Stream Settings > Enabled Layouts tab.
2. Make sure the Stream Theme you have selected within Stream Settings > Display Setting tab is supported for the layout you selected. Some of themes are only created to be used on grid or carousel layouts.
3. If you still have problem, you may be using a Cache plugin which could be cached the page. Try to remove the page cache.

Is there a way to load the AX Social Stream JS scripts only when needed? I see they are loading on every page of the website even though I’m only using the shortcode on a few pages.

Why am I getting this error? The “wall” type works…
Edit: Under the “Stream Settings” the layout must be enabled. Not really sure why the shortcode is shown to place in the side whereever but the layout isn’t enabled. Might want to make this enabled by default.

Yes. You just needed to enable the Wall layout from the Social Stream > Stream Settings > Enabled Layouts tab.
- It must be enabled by default when you install the plugin for the first time but, on upgrades from very old versions it is not enabled by default.

No, Access Token renewal is not required. Access tokens are long lived and they will only expire if you release them from within your main social media account.

The reason is because of that, you are trying to use the Grid layout but, you was selected “Modern Dark” as Stream Theme within the Stream Settings > Display Setting tab.
