To edit that text you have to manually edit the checkout_cart_product_page_template.php template you find inisde the template folder inside the plugin.

Those texts are at line 400, 401, 712 and 713

Hi there, I have a problem with the plugin. All the upload fields I have made are working fine in the front end, the problem is when I try to edit a field or create a new one. In these cases I get a warning message that Rank Math SEO plugin is producing an error, message below

Error type: Uncaught ReferenceError: wp is not defined On script: https://kpstudio.gr/wp-content/plugins/seo-by-rank-math/vendor/cmb2/js/cmb2.min.js?ver=2.7.0 Line 1

And after clicking the OK button I get a second warning message that you can see below

After clicking again the OK message the page shows Saved successfully and nothing happens. When I deactivate the Rank Math SEO plugin I only get the second warning message and again Saved successfully and nothing happens. Basically, I am unable to edit existing upload fields and I can not create a new one. Please advise.

I’m really sorry, the plugin hasn’t such a feature.

Regarding the dimensions, yes. If the user tries to upload an image greater of the set dimensions, will get an error message.

I’m really sorry, you cannot.

The plugin is designed to manage file uploads (that eventually can have some text), not just text.

You can, however, give a try to this other plugin of mine: WooCommerce Conditional Product Fields at Checkout. It allows you to create a text field show for each product in cart (or just once if some products are in cart). It has also a demo site where you can fully test it!

Glad you found the cause :)

As you can imagine, without any further clue, it is quite hard to determine the cause. What do you mean with “broken”? could you provide a more detailde description and eventually link here the link?

Try eventually enable the wordpress debug mode (https://wp-staging.com/docs/enable-wordpress-debug-log-mode/ ) and re-perform a test. Once done, give a look to the debug.log you find in the wp-content/ folder and see if any further clue is reported in it.

can i upload an image to show you?? When the email goes to the customer it shows what they uploaded within the confirmation email. BUT that preview is just showing a brocken link icon rather than the image? Does that make sense?

Sounds strange, because the plugin just embeds the URL to the image.

It may depend on two things:
  1. it may be that something is broking that link (as happened for the other plugin)
  2. or, most like, that you did not enabled the When order is placed option under theCheckout – Files to order association methodas reported in the Show image previews and file names list on Email products table option description!

Hello, I have a problem with the module, when clients upload a heavy file it gets blocked without uploading the entire file, say that I have no upload limit, what could be the reason?

without any further clue, it is quite hard to determine. As you can test in the demo site, you can upload GB of files without any issue.

Please try enabling the WordPress to debug mode ( https://wp-staging.com/docs/enable-wordpress-debug-log-mode/ ) and reperform a test. Once done, try giving a look to the debug.log located in the wp-content/ folder to see if any further clue is reported.

Please try also giving a look in the webserver error log to see if in there there is any additional info.

If none of the above helped, try disabling all the 3rd party plugins to see if any is interfering.

Hey there. I just wanted to check as I have been getting the message that a plugin update is available. However I am already running Wordpress 5.4 and looks like you only currently support 5.3.x. Are there known issues where this won’t work? Or have you just not tested and signed off on it so to speak?

the plugin works without any issue also for the latest WordPress and WooCommerce version! You can safely update!

The 5.4 version is not listed because CodeCanyon still did not add that option among the available ones :(

the max file size can be configured through the upload field options. You can test this option through the demo site.

Files are stored by default on the server, but you can choose to store them in a dropbox account.

Imagine that the final price is $50 if the PDF pages are lower than 100 but f the PDF have more than 100 pages, the final price change to $75.

I have buyed Woocommerce Upload Files for a woocommerce website.

First when i build i website, i allways build this in a demo site before i put him live. In the demo site i test everything if its working correctly.

Now i have used a licence for demo website and today i went live, the live website (Posthumuswinkel.nl) asks for another licence and not using the old one.

Is there any way to deactivate the old licence so i can still have 1 for future useage?

Hi,
each license can be activated in two different domains (one is for testing and the other for production). For each domain, you can reactivate unlimited times (including subdomains and subfolders).

So you can safely reactivate the product in the new domain, your license allows you to do that.

Unfortunately, without any further clue, it is quite hard to determine the cause. Did you enable any option to restrict the field visibility (by user role, order status, payment gateway)? If so, please try disabling them.

Could you also check the browser error console to see if any message is reported? Please eventually try also disabling all the other plugins to make sure that none is interfering. Let me know, thank you.

If you report which issue you are getting in the error console, I’ll be glad to assist.

As you can test in the demo site, the plugin properly works without any issue. So in your case, most likely the issue is caused by a 3rd party plugin interference. In that case, you should eventually ask a refund to those developers.

Please perform this simple test: try temporarily disable the other plugins and report me if you are still getting the issue.

Note also that a refund cannot directly be emitted by authors, you have to ask via the refund page. Note, however, that the CodeCanyon refund policy won’t grat a refund won’t be granted if the issue is caused by 3rd party causes.

It sounds very strange. Could you report the message you are getting in the console?

Could you also try to switch temporarily the theme?

Could you also try enabling the Force reloading 3rd party javascript libraries option you find in the Options menu and report me if you now able to access to the Configuration page (because you were referring to this when you say you cannot modify the upload field, right?)?

Hello, after last update if you take a link to facebook with a product page and people going throw facebook to your site with facebook browser upload fild isnt working, working only upload file, but add to cart isnt working.

If i open on mobile browser firefox isnt working upload field. In chrome is ok, on samsung browser dont working, on opera mobile browser everythink is okň

Hi, I’ve moved my site from a demo domain to the final domain but now the file upload doesn’t upload the files. It says file upload in progress please wait but there isn’t uploaded anything. Is that a license issue? I’ve de-installed the plugin on the demo domain. And I’ve got 1 regular license.

I’ve tried 4 computers now, 1 did work and 3 didn’t. And they are located in different cities. And the old demo domain was working on all the computers…

We recently installed your plug in with a website. When launching it we tested it out and we’re able to upload files. Although when others tried they had this problem. It would load up and get to 100% and nothing would show in the files. They would try again and the same result happened like they didn’t do anything. I did some research and used every device and browser. The only time I came up with the issue was using Safari where it kept happening. The client would need this to work on all the browsers. Before moving forward with another plug in I was wondering if there are any options that work or if you have a solution?

I’m sorry, but the plugin, as reported in the <stong>Compability paragraph in the description page, requires a fully HTML5 compliant browser and the official supported browser are the one reported in the “compatible browser” area you find in the right side of the plugin description page.

Some versions of Safari, unfortunately, suffer from several issues that may prevent the plugin javascript code to be properly executed.

Does this plugin allow for customers who have uploaded files with their order to view these files afterwards? This plugin seems perfect for what I am looking for but I will need the ability for customers to take a look at these files once uploaded as well.

Yes. You can enable the Summary box option (through the Options menu) that will show the uploaded files.

you can test that feature in the demo site before purchasing to be sure it actually fits your expectations! If you have further questions, feel free to ask!

Thanks for getting back to me. When enabled, are these files accessible to the customers or are they only displayed in a list format? I was able to find this checkbox within the demo but was unable to see how this would look from a customer perspective.

That area will list the file names. In the case of images, they will be also previewed with a thumbnail.

To experience the user perspective, just place an order uploading some files and then go the My Account -> Orders -> Order details page.
