yes you can do that in the form and crud there is a current user id that can store user IDs that input the form

Yes now you can generate API for module and delete some module but not core module like user and auth

Hello, i was watching the demo videos, reading all the text/doc available and testing the demo and it look really good just now I have some doubts:
- First of all, im looking for a tool to help me create backends for the ionic apps im developing, and im wanting to work on Codeigniter. More, i want to have the backends with api rest, so when i meet this Tool i tought it was just what i was looking for but after watching the demo and videos im a bit confused:
1.- Can i build the complete backend using this tool? - If yes, do I need to install the tool togeather with each backend? - If this tool must be installed togeather with the builded backend, what about my client? Does they have the access to all this tool options? or Can I publish just the backend builded without the Cicool tool files?
2.- Can i build just some packs of hmvc and then i can use it all the files on another projects? if yes, where do i can got the files ?
3.- Wich version of Codeigniter is this?
4-. Similar to the point 3: if i build a full backend with api, crud, etc. when i have finished, where is the way to take all the backend project files and use it? i mean, this tool create all the folders and files ready to be published? i think it must be published togeather Codeigniter files, is that?

2. Yes you can use the codeigniter of other projects by copying modules/ main system packages such as helper, library, core

4. You can use the API directly and completely with this project directly without having to install another codeigniter

I just cant found 2 types or admin permissions, i mean, I need a kind of superuser for me or one develpoer member team and the admin to use the backend but not the CICOOL crud, api, page or form builder tool. We just want them to use the page, crud or form already created…
How is the way to do that?

So i will continue discovering the options, will be good to have with more complete documentation…
Just 1 thing i dont sure why but i set spanish but dashboard and all options still on english, i watched on the config.php and is correctly set to spanish, what you sugest i cant do to have interface on spanish?

Hello to access and permissions you can set on the part
administrator/access
for superadmins in that group you should be able to access anything even if you give permission or don’t allow it
what for default you have set in application/config/config.php in the default_lang section

About permissions as i said in my last message I finally found that options, now Im testing it to understand the logic you are giving on that screenies/options..
About the languaje, there is no “default_lang” var on that file, but the var: $config[‘language’] = ‘spanish’;
Dont know why i giving all the text message, btns, etc., on english 
If you consider an external file with the text to translate, letme know and i will do the translate…

Is there any procedure or documentation to add cicool to existing word-press site? have been trying for hours without much luck. I’ve tried manually adding the existing details to database.php and running cicool.sql to generate tables but get various db errors.

I ended up realizing how to fix it after posting the request but appreciate your response. I ended up using an old sql you posted here - https://github.com/ridwanskaterock/cicool/issues/61#issuecomment-298593531 however don't think it added all the correct tables (as missing 'Extensions' 'Blogs' etc) Do you have a newer sql I can run to update the db? its not critical as have the majority of the functionality I require.Just getting my head around Cicool but honestly one of the best bits of software on here hand down. This is a developers dream! Many thanks again

i think there’s a bug, when you upload files or maybe I’m wrong. It uploads the file, but it does not show it or download it/ or it downloads a blank file with 60bytes. the file is in /uploads/ but the link goes to /administrator/file/download.
2nd thing is: when I delete the file and save, it says “warning! The data has not changed.” regards
Yes i thin need to change url download file to : /uploads/modulename/filename.ext
for no 2 issue you have change data before save ?
yes. I delete the files and go to save. then the message appears. i found out it sometimes saves anyways. regards
