I’m looking at Mass Users Password Reset Pro Plugin for WordPress and wondering why it has not been updated in over a year?

Must I also need Password Reset Log MUPR Add On in order to trace who did reset their passwords.

Also can I use a custom html template to email all users?

Can you select a certain number of users to reset password and does it make a different randomly generated one for all of them? I don’t really want to send a password reset link to nearly 2000 users as most will likely end up in spam folders, or my host will throttle me from sending out so many. And then of course if all the recipients turn up en mass to reset they could overwhelm the server resources.

So my thinking is my woocommerce customers I could add a new role and put groups of them in it (say 100 at a time), reset that groups password and send them the password (presumably all different?). Instruct the recipient to change it in their account to their own pass when next they visit the site. Then I’ll remove that group from this new role and add in another 100 and repeat the process. Gonna take me a while but I figure less problems with server resource.

Is there a way to only reset for passwords older than specified time? Like users with passwords older than X get reset and sent a new one?

I sent this out to MANY users as I just launched a website. Many of them are having gan issue with the reset not working. Some say the link is invalid, some are getting a 429 too many request error and they also are not getting the conformation email links. I am sending this to WOO commerce customers and I have the PRO version. Please help!

I am a developer and would only need to use this app one time on certain sites. Is there a developer license, or can I install it on a clients site, then remove it to install on the next site I need the password features?

Password reset emails are getting into SPAM folder but Wordpress emails are sent correctly. It seems the emails are not encrypted before sending. This issue is observed with gmails.

I just try to rund a bulk pw reset but it always kills my server/database – although im on a managed v Server with 4 CPU and 8GB RAM. I just selected 50 accounts – so what is the reason for this?

The email is plain text. How do we brand the email template to be like WooCommerce template so we have logo and colours on the email so it looks official?

1. It is a massive security risk to expose new password in email and 2. The woo reset password URL did not render a link in the email

Is it possible to bulk change passwords and NOT send an email? I have a site with hundreds of fictitious characters from a TV show, and therefore their email addresses are also fictitious, so I’d like to avoid bouncing hundreds of emails.

Hello, a pre sale question… When choosing to email a password reset link to force users to reset passwords, and the user fails to see the email before a login attempt, what will be the user experience when attempting to login? Will there be a message that the reset has occurred and will they be redirected to make the change? Or will they simply see a login failed error with no explanation?

We would need this plugin to help users through this situation, rather than have them simply fail a log in attempt.

Also, does the plugin work with custom user roles?

Hmm – we just tested that version of Mass Users Password Reset Pro which was one of the FREE items available last month and we have to say that it isn’t at all well programmed – it differs also a whole lot from the free version on wordpress.org which doesn’t offer much.

Before buying we really would like to get that Pro version we have working

Problem 1: We inserted a Message text and that text does not at all get send or even added to the mail. Problem 2: A real Major one – we tested the TEST MODE and it simply did send mails to ALL USERS – without the message included and without even asking if the users are OK with sending them an email – (GDPR-Problem) – It is not OK to present such a bad programmed plugin as Free Item in a Pro Version which violates common laws in many countries without even asking the one using them.

The idea to have aMass reset password is nice but as long as we can’t get the Free Version you offered for Free up and running well with all the features it has – as they say we can actually only warn people from that plugin – sorry.

I hope Envato will read here too as they should check their FREE Items much better before posting them as Free item for whatever reason.

For now it would not even worth 1 star!

nothing else shown on the page, No settings appears on the page.
