Yes, slider is compatible with php 7. To get rid of this compilation error in gallery images helper need to upload 2.3.x-patch included in package. This patch resolves Magento 2.3 compatibility issue that causes this compilation error.
Unfortunately install through composer is not available yet. But we are planning to implement such ability in future.

Honestly I think this is one of the best extensions on codecanyon. PERIOD!. I’m wondering if we can add a form to a slider or collect info on the slider? Sort of like the way you add contact 7 form to a slider in WP or any other way in Magento.

Hello. I upgraded revolution slider to latest version for magento 1.9 (revslider 5.4) and now it is not working. I am running magento multistore and getting different errors on both. Its a blank space where slider should go.

Most probably this javascript errors is the result of issues with generated slider layout or options in page source.
Can you please check if page source code contain any error output where slider code is generated. Or you can check for errors in php error log or Magento logs too.
Let us know what have you found there or please provide url of page where we can investigate this issue.

I will discuss your offer with my client but at this point if the feature is not available it might be easier to just remove the offending code since the user doesn’t really use the custom css features and it’s only causing us an issue in homepage. It would help if you could point me to the file generating the inline style though.
Yes, you can just remove output of static styles if you don’t use them.
In app\code\Nwdthemes\Revslider\Block\Revslider.php you need to replace following lines 97-98:

So if it is working fine in CMS Page/Block editor than the problem is something else.
Can you please open browser developer tools (F12) before opening gallery from slider editor. Then open image gallery and see is there javascript errors in developer tools console.

Hi, I’ve been using this slider for some time, I’m trying to set up a product slider on your latest version using Magento 2.3.1 and it either shows one single bloated product image or if a background is set it shows an error saying no slide found, should this not show a product grid? also no options for featured and new products which seems odd.
My idea is to use revolution slider to scroll through featured and new products and maybe a choice category over 3 slides , will I not be able to do this using the widget block code or modules native sliders?

Revolution slider use layout settings to show slider on frontend. There is a carousel mode which is the closest layout to products grid. Unfortunately there is no “grid” layout.
Regarding showing certain products collection – what you can do is assign these products to a certain category and select in slider settings. Another option is to select “Specific Products” content source and enter products IDs separated by comma.
Not sure I fully understand your idea about “choice category over 3 slides”. Could you add more details?

Dear Support, I’ve recently purchased SliderRevolution for Magento 1.9.4.0. However after installing the module and activating it successfully, I’m unable to create any new slider. For example: I can’t choose Hero scene instead of Default Slider and can’t set it to Full-screen either. I can’t save the slider, even on default settings after giving it a name. It sounds like a javascript conflict.
1. You can try to disable your modules output in System > Configuration > Advanced > Advanced to find out what module conflict with the slider
2. If possible please provide admin / ftp credentials to nwdthemes@gmail.com . We will check the issue.

I purchased this extension yesterday and have it installed in my local dev environment which is utilizing the Magento DevBox Docker container. There are some things triggering a javascript errors and locking up the interface. One easily repeatable way to cause it to lock the interface up and throw a js error is creating a “row” then trying to drag any content into the row. It throws the following error in the console:
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘options’ of undefined at jQuery.fn.init.stop (jquery-ui-1.9.2.js:1682) at Object.call (jquery-ui-1.9.2.js:308)
Any ideas? When this error throws it locks up the entire Slider Revolution interface and the only way to recover it is refreshing the page.

Thank you for reporting this issue. This problem is related to jQuery UI bug with draggable and sortable interaction that was fixed in version 1.11.
Our extension was using built in Magento jQuery UI version 1.9.2 that was still having this bug.

Hi, I’ve a problem with zoom of image into slider.
When slide changes and return on it for second time, zoom not restart but continue to zoom the image. I’ve activate the loop, during 7000ms and it start from 1 and finish at 20. I don’t know how restart it. Help me please.

It is not clear from screenshots what magento version you have. There is an issue with magento 2 due to require js dependencies. To fix it you need to update Custom Javascript section in Slider Settings. Check this link for updated javascript code – https://pastebin.com/mpzQcwGk

It looks like you are using optimization plugin which move all the js to the footer and break it. Could you try to disable it and check if it fix the issue?

Hi nwdthemes, i’m having the same issue of the user @jgraham21 when i upgrade the plugin the static files don’t appear anymore. I follow the exact instructions that you provide, and based from the screenshot of the user @jgraham21 this happens when you have multiple store view, for example 2 languages. Basically what happens is that all the javascript files aren’t generated. I have to manually upload the javascript files every time i use setup:upgrade.

Hi, only when adding your module the issues comes up. We have only Theme and your module inside. After removing (not only deactivating) the module from code/ folder the issue disappear. :-/

Update: Issue solved – For the community, the solution:
Search for the missing class in your magento 2 code, you can do via linux cli:
grep -rnw ‘path/to/magento2-root/’ -e ‘Magento\\Email\\Model\\Source\\Variables’
and comment any line calling this class (that was removed from magento 2.3)

From Magento 2.3 (magento2.3) the class was removed.

I see. Thanks for the solution. However, in latest version there is no /app/code/Nwdthemes/Revslider/Model/Template/Filter.php, thats why I did not found any mentions of “Magento\Email\Model\Source\Variables” class. It was removed around half year ago.
