Pre-sales question:
I sell several courses, and have testimonials from dozens of customers.
1) Can I use tags or categories with your plugin so I can display all testimonials on my homepage using a shortcode, but only specific course testimonials on each course using a sidebar Widget?
2) Can a link be included when displaying testimonials so existing students can leave their own testimonials on the front end? And can I review new testimonials before making them public? And how do I know which course they were leaving comments on – can I add a field for the product/course the are commenting on?
The plugin will manage only testimonials created and managed inside the plugin, not any kind of testimonials submitted on other scripts.
Wow, horrible answer to a question I didn’t ask.
To anyone reading this, I did purchase this plug-in and it looks nice and the group feature does allow you to show all or just a select few responses.
The one big issue with the plugin is there’s no place to add a title to the sidebar widget. This is a problem as it visually doesn’t look quite right without a title imo, making the widget kind of useless.
Another item to keep in mind is that this plugin’s the testimonial form is very narrow, with no way to make it bigger. So if you place it on a standard webpage it leaves a lot of empty space.
There’s also no way to duplicate testimonials, but that wasn’t a big deal for me.

Is it possible to have a shortcode output the full content of testimonials (not just the “short testimonial”?) I would like to display all the content from testimonials in a certain group on one page, so you can read the whole thing without having to click “read more”.

Oh I see. I was hoping to display the “case study page content” with the shortcode, but I take it that’s not possible.
I have a different question though: I’ve noticed that, if I enable the “read more” link, it is displayed even if there is no more content to show. Is it possible to have the read more link only show on testimonials that have content in the “case study page content”?

Currently I have the plugin Indeed My Testimonials (Visual Composer Version) without shortcodes and I’m migrating to another editor (Elementor) and now I need to use shortcodes (Testimonials Showcase Wordpress Plugin) but without losing the reviews. Is there any way to migrate them from a plugin (visual composer) to the standard version?
If I buy the standard version with shortcuts, will he automatically recognize previous testimonials/reviews?

You can decide for which group each submission form may be. Also, showcase can be set to display only testimonials from specific groups. So, you can have submission form and showcase for each group. There is not a specific integration with Woo but you can use that approach and having one group for each product, if you want.

I have some questions before buying:
1- Can I use it in Custom Post Type? 2- Is it possible to insert testimonials via WordPress admin and hide the submission form in the frontend? 3- At the top of each single, we need to display a star rating with the average rating of the testimonials of this single, is it possible with your plugin? 4- We have some types posts and besides showing the testimonials at the end of each single, we will have a page that will list all the testimonials of the site. Is this possible with your plugin? 5- In this page that will display all the testimonials, we need to put next to each star rating the title and link of the post to which it refers, is it possible with your plugin? If it is not possible to get dynamically, we can use a text field / plugin link and put it manually, correct? 6- Is it possible to obtain the amount of terstimonials and the average rating, so that we can use this information in our JSON-LD script? 7- If any of the above is not possible with your plugin, can we request an implementation (paid)? If so, what is the average time for this implementation?

Testimonials Showcase is based on Custom post type by default.
Yes, testimonials can be added and managed from WP Dashboard like any other posts. Frontend submission form is not required but optional.
Depends of your desired workflow, you can set testimonials for categories and to show them into specific places filtered by each category.
Yes, is possible to show only few or all Testimonials into a Showcase. You can create how many showcases you want and with different data listed or design.
There is not a such link or connection between Testimonials and a post. You can create categories and establish for each post what category will be correlated but that will not provide extra links.
