Significant problem with 5.1 – the backend editor button is not showing and it’s impossible to switch editor to VC in the backend. I had to go back to previous version of both WP and VC with a backup.
Hello, In our recent version 5.7, you can deactivate the Gutenberg editor under WPBakery Page Builder -> General Settings, to continue using the backend editor at your end.

Where do I see your “profile contact”? When entering my license code in your website it tells me that the support is expired and doesn’t allow me to contact you in any way. Provide a valid email address or a place where I can contact you to report bugs and important issues.

This is a terrible issue. The website will only work on version 4.7.4. When trying to update to the latest version or version 5.6 it gives a white screen with a HTTP 500 error. What could be the cause of this?? Because right now it’s impossible to use the visual composer, so it needs to be updated. But the update breaks the shite….

This is what it says. The same error comes after every single update version I try, 5.6 or 5.7, it breaks the entire website….
Hello, It looks like the theme at your end using the plugin related function which fails to render when the plugin is deactivated during an update. You can temporarily switch onto another theme and then update the plugin to switch back to the original theme.

hi, a pre-sale Q if that’s ok. i’ve inherited a WP site which uses VC but it’s on version 4.1.2 (think it was bundled with theme). i’ve updated all the WP core (WP 5 now) and other plugins but VC isn’t working correctly on the back-end (front end is ok) – none of the visual edit modes work, we can only edit content in ‘text’ mode now and therefore can see all the row/column shortcodes. trying to go into any of the VC visual edit modes we just get a spinning/loading icon forever.
my question is – do you think paying for and updating to the latest VC will fix this issue? i really think there’s a chance some of the VC shortcodes might have been corrupted a bit over time as the client has been editing things in text mode for a while. how ‘tolerant’ will an upgrade be in this situation do you think? is there any form of clean-up process we could use to help get back to having visual VC ability?

Hello, The 41.2 version was released more than 4 years back and hence might not be compatible with the recent WordPress releases. If you purchase the plugin through us, then you can update it yourself to the latest version which is 5.7 and is fully compatible with latest WordPress.

Found a pretty major bug with previews, line 480 in class-vs-base.php is checking if the page is a preview, however some hosts disable previews, so there really needs to be a fallback of else $id = get_the_ID();

Hello thanks, I had a typo in my comment. When previewing it’s checking for the latest revisions, however some hosts disable revisions so there should be a fallback to just get the shortcodes from the page id to generate the css for the preview, rather than from the latest revision if no revisions are found.
Also is there a place to submit bugs, support has ran out and would rather not have to pay again just to submit a bug report.
Just a heads up…
The Templatera shortcode has issues on archives (if added in a widget or custom template part) because the addShortcodesCustomCss function returns empty unless it’s a singular page.

I’ve a question about the Accordion functionality. When a tab is opened, I want to close it whenever you click on the same tab again. How can I do this? Right now, it can’t close a currently opened tab.

We have a weird problem with WPB, shortcodes are not being mapped in multisite environment so I had to add this code to fix it:
add_action( 'wp', [ 'WPBMap', 'addAllMappedShortcodes' ] );
It would be good if you can check if the plugin has any issues with multisite environment.

I am workin on a website for my client. Unfortunately i can not access his envato account. I am having problems with the recent update. I have a full width container within a pricing table. I seems that the option “pricing background color” is not working anymore. I set it to show #282828 but it keeps on showing white. Before the update this was not showing. How can i change this?
Hello, The pricing table is not a standard element of page builder. It is most likely a custom element from the theme or third party add-on, added at your end.

I am encountering a bug in the backend- only the first half of my page is visible in the editor. I can edit the entire page in the front end editor and it is visible as a webpage, but the elements in the backend just get cut off and there’s no way to access the bottom half of the page. Is this a known bug or am I missing something?
