I know this is a weird question, but, you know Elementor has “go-to” default themes, Ocean-WP, Astra – Does WPBAKERY have the the same, like is there a skeleton theme that “just works well” with WPBakery – I ask because WP-Bakery is just bundled with themes generally and never actually thought to just use it on its own
Hello, The WPBakery Page Builder works fine with any theme which is coded as per the WordPress theme development guidelines. We also have a starter theme which you can check on our website, in-case you want to start from scratch.

Hello, The event tool is not a standard feature of the page builder. It is most likely added by the theme or a third party add-on at your end.

Hello I originally purchased this when it was Visual Composer and as I wanted to access the templates on 3 sites I purchased 3 licences from the Visual Composer website now when after updating my websites with the latest version I go to activate the licences it’s directing me to wpBakery but I don’t have a licence for there as I purchased on Visual composer. How can I get my new licences to work?

It’s functionality and license portal has not been changed and the licenses can be accessed here: https://support.wpbakery.com/licenses Only the plugin name and logo has been re-branded. No that doesn’t work because when you click on activate licence it brings you directly to wp-bakery which I have no login details to activate for as I purchased them on Visual composer.
There are too different portals to activate the licences
Hi, Under the WPBakery Page Builder Settings – General setting, there is a “Google fonts subsets” setting. As my main content language are Chinese, there is no subsetting can be found as Chinese where it is actually supported by google fonts. Is there anyone to fix the issue?

Hi,
I know that you can hide a column with Visual composer. However, does that content in that column get excluded from the pageload? For example if one column contains a YouTube video, and that column is hidden, does the YouTube video loads anyway when the page is loaded?
Is there a way to hide aldo rows for mobiles? If yes, how? And does that element get excluded from the pageload on mobiles?

Hello, The content is still present in rendered html and it is hidden via CSS. To hide a row, you can add an extra CSS class to it and then hide it via Custom CSS by targeting the display property.

I found malware in version 5.7.(The author of themeforest send file to me for updated my JS Composer.) After I installed and activated 4 websites with difference servers that my sites found same malware problem. How to solve its or should skip this version? Please advised.

Hi there! I’m trying to do three columns with white space between them. However, when I put a color behind each column and put white behind the row, it shows the column color as one big block behind the whole row. I’m hoping you can assist. I’ve set the column spacing as 30px in the row settings.

this doesn’t seem right: I have a license and can’t install. It was on a development site and I deactivated it. Now WPBakery shows my license but won’t let me install.

Hi, it seems that WPBakery is going in circles. I deactivated it on your website for my test site. I go in to my active site and it says it is now activated (with the only choice to deactivate). I then try to update it and it says “Update Failed: License is not activated.” It is activated… it isn’t activated. I don’t understand, if we buy it, why can’t we update it?

Just a heads up, in the latest version “wp_get_post_revisions” (used in addPageCustomCss and addShortcodesCustomCss) returns empty when previewing WooCommerce products which leads to some PHP warnings as well as Page and Shortcode Custom CSS from not working on live previews.

All you have to do is preview a WooCommerce product that’s currently a “draft” and has WPBakery enabled. Other customers have already reported the issue as well.

Hello, You can use 1/12 columns and then hide the remaining two using custom CSS adding an extra CSS class to them. Once done, you can then stretch the remaining ten columns to accommodate the space of hidden one’s.

Hello, The image size of media grid depends upon the number of columns that the grids use. The larger the number of columns, smaller is the image size. You can turn-off the prettyphoto by creating a new grid template under WPBakery Page Builder -> Grid Builder.
