seems like a bug. now in the amdin panel i have a notice that i need to aupgrade to 1.3.2 I just upgraded and the notice is still there, apparently the downloadable is version 1.3.0

Actually you made a mistake. If I download the whole thing is version 1.3.2, if only the WordPress files I get the 1.3.0 lol

Hi,

Thanks for your message. From the version 1.3.1, we have bundled the plugin with 6 premium addon and that is why you need to download the full package and unzip the file to get the plugin and it’s addon.

I hope that helps you and let me know if you need further assistance.

Have a good day.

hi…i purchased your several plug in. one of plug in is same like this ” Knowledge Base Plugin Bundle For WordPress | Utilities ” it is not available to download . pls let me know what happened? i need a plug in knowledge base .like this. Pls reply me passjjj@gmail.com thanks

@young: replied your support message.

Thanks.

Why are you not supporting gutemberg? I had to add the following code to make it work with gutemberg:

function wp1482371_custom_post_type_args( $args, $post_type ) { if ( $post_type == “bwl_kb” ) { $args[‘show_in_rest’] = true; } } add_filter( ‘register_post_type_args’, ‘wp1482371_custom_post_type_args’, 20, 2 );

return $args;

add_filter(‘register_taxonomy_args’, ‘wp1482371_custom_taxonomy_args’, 10, 2 );

function wp1482371_custom_taxonomy_args ($args, $taxonomy) { if ( $taxonomy 'bkb_category' || $taxonomy ‘bkb_tags’ ) { $args[‘show_in_rest’] = true; } }

return $args;

ops, the code got currupted in the comment

Hi,

Thanks for your message and I will include that in next version.

Have a nice day.

Hello! Presales question:

This is what I want to do: At the end of the article, users get the question: “did you find this article helpful”? Step 1: post voting (which is a feature you have. But can I change the vote symbols to tick and cross instead of using emoticons?) Step 2a (if user answers smiley face): “We’re glad you find this helpful! Do you have any other suggestions to improve this further? We would appreciate your feedback” User is able to submit feedback form (which is a feature you have but submission is when smiley face is chosen) Step 2b (if user answers with a frown): “We’re sorry we did not manage to answer your query. Please choose the following support channels so that we can serve you better” The support channel options appear in the form of buttons and the user is able to choose either Live Chat or Support Ticket. Clicking on one of the buttons will direct the user to selected support channel.

Is the above possible?

Also, am I able to perform analysis on the knowledge base articles? For eg, articles are arranged based on the total number of views, the number of upvotes, the number of downvotes etc

Integration with WPML: Does that mean that when one article in default language is created, another page in Language 2 will be created at the same time? User can then toggle between the 2 languages from the front end?

Thanks

Hi,

Also, can I create multiple knowledge bases and assign one user role/type to each knowledge base?

You can the check following Knowledgebase addon for that feature. https://codecanyon.net/item/restrict-kb-access-by-user-role-addon/13722991

Thanks.

Hello, thanks for your reply.

2a & 2b. No. Currently, feedback section only appear for the dislike vote. We need to customize the plugin code to meet those requirements.

>> are these features in your upcoming development for this plugin? assuming it is, roughly when will these features be up?

OR, is it possible that when user clicks on the emoticon, our own form will appear? Or can we customize the message that appears after user clicks on the emoticon?

Hello,

We do not have any plan to add feedback message for the like vote.

Thanks.

Hello, where can i translate email content. Was not able to find it in the strings when translating with Loco Translate. Please advise.

Thanks!

Hello,

Just checked and seems everything is working normally with Loco Translate plugin Here go the screenshot. http://prntscr.com/qod0h7 You can send me your site URL, login info and FTP details via support page. I’ll check and get back to you soon. https://codecanyon.net/item/bwl-knowledge-base-manager/7972812/support/contact

Thanks.

Is this version is compatible with Templify KB – Knowledge Base Addon Version 1.0.6? and why you taking it down?

Hello,

We have bundled Templify KB Addon with the Knowledge Base Manager plugin and the addon is compatible with the current version of plugin.

Thanks.

When I insert a link in the kb-post and visit the post afterwards, the link will be desplayed as a normal text with a different cursor, but not a different color as on the normal links.

How can I change that so the kb-post-kins has the same colors as the normal links?

Hello,

Please send your site and KB page URL via support page. I’ll check and get back to you soon.

Thanks.

Hi, would you like to tell me which plugin you use to create the documentation for this plugin? Thankd

Hello,

Our plugin documentation built with simple HTML template. We do not use any plugin for that.

Thanks.

For demo issues, open “live preview” in an INCOGNITO window :)

It fixed. Thank you.

Demo is not working

Hello,

Please try now.

Thank You :)

Sorry, still can’t reach it. Only a white page. Do you perhaps have a country barrier inside?

Hello,

Sorry for that inconvenience. Not sure about the reason of that issue and there is no country barrier applied in demo site. Please try now and let me know your feedback.

Thanks.

Hi! I have 2 pre-purchase questions:

1. Is it possible for my team members to only have access to creating & editing KB items and not Wordpress pages etc? Does this relate to Wordpress user roles?

2. Is it possible to password protect this knowledge base for clients coming to my website? ... Is the KB put on one Wordpress page which I can password protect?

A quick response would be very much appreciated. Thank you!

In addition to my question above, I have another question – is there a bulk upload feature? ... even via csv?

Side Note: Your “Live Preview” demo stopped working.

A quick response to my previous questions would be greatly appreciated :)

Hello,

Thanks for your message and Live Preview demo is now working.

Sorry it is not possible to use single password and bulk upload option is not available.

Ask a question form – where does this show up in the admin section? As a new question for you to answer or where does it get sent?

Hello,

Thanks for your message.

- Question will be marked as pending post. http://prntscr.com/ncqof9

- Once admin user answered and approved the question, plugin will send a notification email to that user who had submitted that question.

Hope that helps.

Hi, can you tell me if there is a front end publisher in this plugin?

Hello Nibar,

Thanks for the massage.

There is an External KB Submission Form feature available in the plugin. So, users can submit their question and admin answer that and notify them about the question update. Please check plugin documentation for detail information.

http://projects.bluewindlab.net/wpplugin/bkbm/doc/#question_form_settings

Hope that helps.

Regards, Mahbub

I want to use it like a knowledge base (wiki) for gathering knowledge. So my question was not referring to questions but rather front end submission and editing of entries.

Does this work?

Hello Nibar,

Thanks for your quick reply. Unfortunately, this feature is not available.

Regards, Mahbub

Hi, my tag pages for the Knowledge bank are giving an 404 error page, while the tag pages from regular Wordpress do work. What is going wrong? Can’t get it working… Categories are working fine.

https://voetbalfeiten.nl/tag/test/

I’ve bought this theme: https://themeforest.net/item/knowledgedesk-knowledge-base-wordpress-theme/19481432 where this plug-in comes with. I’ve send the data to you through the link. I hope you can repair the bug, thank you in advance.

I replied your support email. Please check.

Thanks.

Thank you for solving the problem (very quick)!

HI,

I’m having an issue.

when clicking on a category, the category items are displayed using the default WP Blog template, and the item’s URL is also under the blog, something like this mydomain.com/blog/KB-category/KB-article, which is not what I want.

I’m trying to get it to work like how it works in the live demo but I can’t seem to figure out how. How can I fix this?

Hello,

Thanks for your message.

- By default, plugin uses currently activated theme category.php or archive.php template file to display the knowledgebase posts. If you check the following plugin documentation, you will see that we have clearly describe how template works and how you can create custom template.

http://projects.bluewindlab.net/wpplugin/bkbm/doc/#plugin-template-setup-section

- In demo, we have also clearly mentioned mentioned about the “Templify KB Addon”. top right side of the single KB page. Here goes the screenshot.

http://prntscr.com/n6pzvq https://codecanyon.net/item/templify-kb-knowledge-base-addon/11888104

Hope that helps.

Look at it from my point of view, I’m a regular WP user who is looking for a KB plugin. I click on you plugin, read the features on the plugin page (with no mention of add-ons there) I then check out the live preview and see it does everything I want to do. I buy it and start using it. then boom, you have to purchase an add-on for it to work as it should is what I’m told. you can imagine the disappointment i felt then.

1. you need to make it more visibly and clear that one needs to buy extra add-ons, not hide it within the live demo in a box. 2. Atleast have it written on the main page of the plugin description 3. Many other KB plugins do what they must do without needing to buy any extra, why not make urs similar.

I do regret this purchase. I feel deceived

Hello,

Thanks for your message.

We have decided to include “Templify KB Addon” with the main plugin, and release a new version 1.2.6 soon. I’ve replied your support email. Please check your inbox.

Hope that helps.

Thanks.

Hello, presales questions:

if a knowledge base post does not answer the user’s question, besides voting, can I add my support ticket form so that user can immediately ask the question instead of using your external questions form? I am intending to use SupportCandy plugin (which is supposedly compatible with yours: https://supportcandy.net)

Is this SEO friendly?

Is it lightweight? I’m worried it may cause the site to slow down

Can I also adjust the settings so that only logged in users can vote for the articles?

Hello,

- To add custom form then you need to customize the plugin code. Don’t worry, I’ll help you to do that.

- Yes, it is SEO Friendly.

- Yes, plugin is light weight and it will not slow down your site.

- Yes, you can allow logged in users to submit their vote.

Thanks and let me know if you need more information.

SEO is not solved.

Your script is not SEO friendly, I will write the basic reasons:

1. URL eg.: http://preview.codecanyon.net/item/bwl-knowledge-base-manager/full_screen_preview/7972812?_ga=2.38404132.604312026.1548772207-396048886.1547056775 it is not SEF

2. Canonical URL: none

3. Meta title for for the mentioned URL: BWL Knowledge Base Manager Preview – CodeCanyon is generic, and is not relevant to this page.

4. Meta description for the mentioned URL:

<a href=”https://codecanyon.net/item/bwl-knowledge-base-manager/7972812/support… It is not a sample text of the first paragraph but it is already useless HTML code.

5. The text title on this page is not highlighted as h1 or h2. 6. robots.txt does not exist. 7. sitemap.xml does not exist These are the basic shortcomings that make the script unusable. I do not want any of you, I just suggest some improvements you need to make. Good luck. Ivan”>

Hello Ivan,

Thanks for your message.

- Codecanyon uses an Iframe to display product demo. Here goes the demo direct link. projects.bluewindlab.net/wpplugin/bkbm/

- robots.txt and sitemap.xml are not the part of plugin concept. However, you can use other sitemap generator plugin in this regard.

Hope that helps.

Robots.txt is a specific file and depends on the file configuration file in the script … no one else can do it instead of you. You also need a dynamic sitemap because the content is not static but dynamic.

With a little extra work, you can have a good script.

If a website is using wpbakery, can the knowledge base pages be designed using wpbakery or is it just text

Hello,

You can check following addon and it will add custom block in wpbakery. https://codecanyon.net/item/kb-addon-for-visual-composer/14935093

Hope that helps.

hey bud this plugin hijacks my blog archive instead of displaying in its own page whats up with that, i thought this was ajaxified

Hello,

By default KB Manager plugin uses theme single.php page to display it’s post content and archive.php page for the listings.

Now, if you want to use custom template then check following addon. https://codecanyon.net/item/templify-kb-knowledge-base-addon/11888104

Hope that helps.Thanks :)

eh, im regretting my purchase now. this isnt how this plugin used to be, now i have to buy extra addons just to restore normal functionality.

Hi, could please compress all css/js files in the next release ? these files are really slowing down website

Hello,

You can use following WP plugin to compress css/js files https://wordpress.org/plugins/autoptimize/

Thanks.
