Although I installed the “Classic Editor” plugin to get rid of the Gutenberg editor in WP 5.0 and selected the “No” opton in the “Allow users to switch editors”, WPBakery still shows the “Gutenberg Editor” button when editing pages and posts. I think it should be hidden in this case.
Hello, You can disable the Gutenberg editor under WPBakery Page Builder -> General settings of the plugin. Please make sure that you are running the latest version which is 5.6.

Hi Rohan, I need something to create a single post template. For example, I want to create a layout for a specific post type and all posts of that post types display based on that layout. Hello, You can set a default template based on post type under general setting of WPBakery Page Builder. This will allow you to edit the template content for each individual post of the post type.

Thank you, but I afraid I didn’t explain well. The solution you are talking about will create a predefined layout and it’s just a simpler way of loading a saved template from the library in a new post. But what I am looking for is displaying the fields and taxonomies of a Custom Post Type as an output result in the frontend.
For example we have a custom post type called “Movies”, there are several custom fields (ACF fields) are the like: Rating, Genre, Trailer, Awards, etc. that are defined before using ACF plugin. Every time user adds a new post (New Movie), he fills all the fields in the default editor and other additional fields.
Now we need to display each of these posts with their metadata and fields as single posts. For example the featured image on the left, the movie rating and genre at bottom of its image, title and description on the left, and so on. The Elementor Pro Theme Builder feature do exactly the same thing if you watch its video I poster before. But I prefer using WPBakery because it’s much faster, lighter and more professional that elementor. and I don’t want to code PHP to create such templates. Thanks
Hello, You can handle the ACF output by adding the respective ACF shortcodes via text block element in the template. We also have an ACF element in grids, if you want to output it using grids.

What the difference between WPBakery and Visual Composer?
Hello, Visual Composer Website Builder and WPBakery Page Builder are two independent products.
WPBakery Page Builder takes care of the content part, while the Visual Composer Website Builder is a new product that aims to offer solutions for the creation of the whole website (ex. add logo and menu elements). Regarding Design Options, Visual Composer Website Builder offers a lot more features and libraries. Regarding elements and templates, we have a Visual Composer Hub that has premium class elements and templates that receive regular updates. In the nearest future, Visual Composer Hub will be open for 3rd party developers to offer their content.

Hello, We are currently on the old visual composer (5.2). After upgrading to Wordpress Version 5.0.2 it appears that our post grid and post masonry grid sections have stopped working on our home page. Would upgrading to the new version resolve these issues?
Hello, The 5.2 is very old version of the plugin and hence we would recommend updating the plugin to the latest version which is 5.6 and is compatible with recent WordPress release.

Hi – I purchased this plugin to help update an old theme. I was upgrading from Visual Composer 3.5.5 to Page Builder 5.6 … but it seems to break the edit screen. Are these 2 different plugins? Is the version gap too great? How can I proceed – i.e. how can I use the newer plugin but with content created in the old plugin? Thanks!

The plugin is not working correctly. Front end editor doesn’t load 80% of the time, it stays stuck on a white loading page. And in the back end 80% of the time when you want to edit a text box the text box opens but the contents in it to edit don’t show up. After closing and opening the text box again 3 times it sometimes works, this is absolutely terrible.
I found the problem. It’s not compatible with the plugin smart footer system.
Hello, It looks like the plugin is no longer maintained or updated and hence it can cause a compatibility issue with recent WordPress update and with WPBakery page Builder as well.

Hi, I am in a bit hurry, my site loading time has increase a lot because of a vc_shortcodes-custom-css call. The template is calling two images using this shortcode and these images were coming form the themes site which is no more loading.

Hello, This CSS is added when you add padding, margin, border, etc. via design options of any element. Unfortunately, it is not possible to remove this from head file to load it via external file.

On sites in WP 5.01, with the Gutenberg editor, VIsual Composer no longer works and you only see the Gutenberg editor full of shortcodes. AND when you look on this page at Compatible with Software Version WordPress 4.9.x you see that Visual Composer does not work with 5.x.
So how do I edit anything on client sites that now have WP 5.01 and Visual Composer (older unlicensed versions bundled with themes), that only show the Gutenberg editor on the back ends with shortcodes and no visual builder options?
Themes PLEASE STOP bundling visual composers and revolution sliders with your theme so that developers and clients are left to fend for themselves later when they actually NEED the composer and slider to work and they will not work because the version has changed and there is no license to update them!

Hello, The carousel might display 5 column layout as it does not support 5 column layout by default. You can use 4 or 6 columns which are supported by it.

Hi, I want to report a bug.
I modified “media-slide with caption” at grid builder. I want to show post title and categories when hover. but it shows only post title. How can I show categories at post grid ?
I watched a few time WpBakery post grid videos.
Firstly, I reported to The7 team and here is their comment; “Here is The7 team review on this subject: “It seems a bug in WPBakery Page Builder, I tried this by creating a custom post type, and tried the same in the “Twenty Nineteen” theme, and the categories ( custom taxonomies ) are not showing.”

Hello , why don`t you make Header Builder option in the WpBakery ? I know that header controlled by theme , but most of them no have header builder.
