Hi, I get this message when I try to load photos from Facebook page..
“All of the images have failed to load. Please click here to reach the troubleshooting fix.”
Tried doing the troubleshooting as explained but nothing happened. How can I fix this error? Please help.. Thank you.
Share the link to the page where the error happens please.
Also how can I display albums from my fb pages instead of from my fb profile photos.. Thank you..
Upon inspecting the problem, it’s clear the the thumbnail creation only has a problem with 3rd party content. If we replace the image URL to the feature image of the post and source it from your server and not Jetpack Photon, it works: https://vajirarama.lk/wp-content/plugins/justified-image-grid/timthumb.php?src=https://vajirarama.lk/wp-content/uploads/photo-164.jpg
If we put the same image, but sourced from the CDN, it doesn’t work: https://vajirarama.lk/wp-content/plugins/justified-image-grid/timthumb.php?src=https://i1.wp.com/vajirarama.lk/wp-content/uploads/photo-164.jpg
Same as Facebook. This is some kind of issue you hosting provider could help with. Please try asking for their help and send them these 2 links, asking for an explanation.
Hello,
I recently purchased your plugin and I need help setting up my gallery. How can I contact support?
thank you in advance
Michelle mimi4ra@yahoo.comSent you a mail.
I’m interested in buying this pluggin, but how do I know if it will work on my WP theme? I use Gridsby theme. Thank you
Most likely it’ll work fine.
Dear developer
I think this is the perfect plugin for my need. For some of my selfhosted video files (mp4), I would like to use a thumbnail which opens/plays one video after another as autoplay in a lightbox.
As far as I have seen in your demo, it should be possible but I would like to get sure …
Best regards from Switzerland
It can autoplay the current video, but it cannot auto advance to the next one once the video ends. That paging by the arrows must happen manually. Not all lightboxes are compatible with videos.
Hi, I put the shortcode in a widget, which worked for a while until it broke my site. Specifically, the database crashed (timeout errors and site eventually went down) because the plugin was constantly trying to fetch one of the pictures from my Tumblr feed. The widget was in the footer. I had to remove it.
Any suggestions? I just bought it and I bought it specifically to use in my footer widget.
Thank you.
Please copy here your shortcode that includes the tumblr RSS URL.
This is the shortcode used:
[justified_image_grid preset=1 thumbs_spacing=0 row_height=175 height_deviation=-50 limit=18 max_rows=4 developer_link=hide rss_url=http://sisterhoodagenda.tumblr.com/rss]
Hi, you have 20 entries in the feed but only 17 of them contain a recognizable picture by JIG. Your shortcode includes an invalid value, the height deviation should not be negative. Other than that the gallery seems to work fine with your RSS.
Without the negative-is this correct? [justified_image_grid preset=1 thumbs_spacing=0 row_height=175 height_deviation=50 limit=18 max_rows=4 developer_link=hide rss_url=http://sisterhoodagenda.tumblr.com/rss]
Also, can I put this in a lightbox in the widget to optimize it?
Yes that is correct. Would you like to put the JIG inside a lightbox? How would that work? We are still not sure why you were experiencing the performance problem, or why some items in the feed are missing an image.
Would like to use Justified Image Grid for a client, but they really want their images to fill the screen on click, with almost no lightbox frame. Is that possible with this plugin?
Do you mean a fullscreen switch that enlarges the grid, not just an individual photo? Or simply that it needs to take up more space than a restricted-width column in your theme? The latter can be arranged by 100% true full width containers in themes or builder, or alternatively via Custom CSS.
Just purchased JIG. Documentation says “JIG includes Visual Composer addon with live preview.’ I can not see/find this?
That plugin’s module for JIG automatically appears in WPBakery Page builder (formerly called Visual Composer) module list. Scroll down for examples: https://justifiedgrid.com/features/shortcode-editor/
Hello, I have JIG installed on two identical websites. Timthumb works on both, verified. But on one of the two domains, the BrokenLinks plugin always alert me to Timthumb errors. Also, when I go to clear the cache, I always get the “Error cleaning cache” message.
What can it be?
All website is hosted on Siteground.
Thanks
Where do you clear the cache. And what are the errors that you get? Do all thumbnails show up in your galleries? There could be some missing that you skipped noticing.
I delete the cache in the JIG TimThumb & CDN panel, “Click here to purge the cache.” Yes, the images are displayed.
Ok, that cache is for external image dimensions (and is a database cache, not the files). You can manually clear the cache by reinstalling the plugin or clearing the /cache folder in the JIG folder, but keep the html and touch files.
Ok, I cleared the cache via FTp … let’s see if it still generates an error. Thank you
Unfortunately, the BrokenLinks plugin still gives me errors. Can I send you a screenshot?
Sure, send a mail from our profile. You can use https://snag.gy/ as your image host.
Hi
We purchased a license for JIG for fskacom.page.com domain. However we now have changed our domain to fska.com. We would like to request to reset and transfer to the new domain. We see this message for JIG in our site’s plugin page:
Automatic update error! This purchase code is in use on: fskacom.ipage.com! You need one regular license for each production site, except staging sites. Contact JIG support to reset your license (only the username is needed).
Thanks Rolando Tolibas
Done!
Hi
Update is now possible, thanks! However, when I do the update I get this error:
Update Failed: Download failed. cURL error 35: gnutls_handshake() failed: A TLS fatal alert has been received.
-Rolando
Can you ask your hosting’s support about that message? It works for many others, leading us to believe that the problem occurred on your server.
Hi,
We have been using JIG for a while. suddenly we’re getting the following message.
No images found for your category or tag filters!
the options to select category has disappeared from media library. Maybe caused by WP update – is there a way to restart JIG?
Are you using the setting in JIG to enable tags and categories on media library images? Or are you using a 3rd party plugin to enable these? It’s a hidden feature in WP and is subject to plugins’ enabling.
Hello, I just asked for help for the problem that JIG does not load images anymore.
I disabled Timthumb now, so it works for now. But maybe slower without the tumbnails.
If I deactivate Hide My WP than the photo’s works again! So, it’s a conflict with hmwp. I don’t want to deactivate hmwp.
What to do?
I see on your help page:
’’ Hide My WP settings > General Settings > Exclude Files – add this:
wp-content/plugins/justified-image-grid/timthumb.php ’’
But unfortunaly there is no button Exclude Files (anymore)
We don’t have that plugin, but if let us in to the admin we’ll help you find a setting that hopefully fixes it. Please send a mail from our profile, we’ll need to log in with temporary wp-admin access and check it out.
Hello support,
I use JIG on 3 websites.
Today I saw the error: ’’JIG – All of the images have failed to load’‘
If I disable TimThumb then it works again. But… that’s not good, because site would load slow.
I did not change anything on some websites. Maybe you know what could be wrong?
Examples: https://cadzandonline.nl/strandpaviljoen/ https://strandhuisje.nl/slapenophetstrand/hoekvanholland/ http://kust.nl/vakantie/duynhille/Maybe I will disable TimThumb, so it works for now.
I see you can install Jetpack Photon, but I think it’s better for SEO to use your own server. Then the thumnails are on our server, otherwise on an other server, isn’t it? If you click on a thumnail now in google photo’s you go to our server. If I use Photon the url will not be the same anymore, isn’t it? So, better if it would work as it always does.
See other thread. Going like this with thumbnails disabled is causing stress on the server and on your visitors (too large images as thumbnails).
I think there is a bug when using a staging environment. I created a staging copy (using SiteGround) let’s call it: staging.mysite.com. Now when I add some images to the gallery on staging, they appear as thumbnails, but when I click on it, it says “The image could not be loaded”. And the “The image” is linking to the image on the live site mysite.com, not staging.mysite.com. And when I open some of the old images (exist on both, staging and live), and inspect in Chrome, I can see it is being loaded from live website. In that way we can’t really test if adding new images to our galleries worked on staging, before pushing it to live.
We are not familiar with how siteground copies your site, but if we were to do it manually, we’d do a search and replace changing the live domain to the staging domain using this tool: https://interconnectit.com/products/search-and-replace-for-wordpress-databases/
JIG is the only plugin that has issues working in the staging copy of the live website, created by SiteGround’s tool. I am not familiar with WP development, but from 10y of coding I would say that this looks like JIG is just hard-writing the domain name upon installation for example, instead of using relative paths + domain name variable. This is first time I hear that search&replace is necessary when changing domain. I’ve done this a few times (without JIG) and it was all OK. Please raise this issue with a developer, who I am sure will see it as a bug.
The WP Codex itself recommends a search and replace for a thorough move. https://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress Serialized values stored by plugins and themes are often hard for an AI to search and replace properly. Human intervention is a must in these cases, so that’s why it’s doubtful that SiteGround can do it for you automatically. To some extent yes, the WP native options in the database and config are affected, that’s why it seemingly works.
Is there anything on this tab: https://justifiedgrid.com/features/settings/#!jig[1]/ML/19193 for the “Replace site’s hostname with” or “Custom TimThumb path” settings?
This is not really a move, but a regular process for us, to work on the website on staging and then pushing all changes to Live. Quite common scenario in IT.
The “Replace site’s hostname with” and “Custom TimThumb path” are empty. The hint next to “Replace site’s hostname with” says: “Enter the hostname of your CDN (e.g. cdn.yourdomain.com), this will replace your site’s hostname which is peachperfectweddings.com”. This domain is our Live domain.
I am probably being to naive here, but why can’t JIG just open the lightbox pictures with DOMAINNAMEVARIABLE/path.jpg. Seems like all other plugins and the theme have no issues with loading the right pictures from staging, and not from Live.
If it says “this will replace your site’s hostname which is peachperfectweddings.com” then it means your site_url() is set to the live site while you want it to be a staging site.
https://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_The_Site_URLJIG doesn’t store or “hardcode” this, it comes from the WP sytem.
It’s still a move, no matter the purpose. Staging to live or vice versa, it’s a move as far as the installation in concerned. References from/to the hosts need to be updated.
Can you please tell me if the plugin allows for a form to be created alongside an image, so when submitted, the admin of the site will know which image is being referenced in the comment?
To explain – we are looking to post a gallery and provide an opportunity for people to supply information about who/what is in each image.
You’ll need many additional 3rd party scripts for that, probably via custom work done by a freelancer. JIG sets you up with a display of uncropped thumbnails and give you lightbox choices. It doesn’t make your photos interactive, or allow commenting/tagging or create any kind of form.
With prettyPhoto or PhotoSwipe lightbox, the image ID is in the URL while a photo is opened, that could be used by 3rd party scripts to identify the image.
I just added NextGen and Justified Image Grid Gallery on one page. Why does the “Justified Image Grid” take so long to go from one image to the next one? It seems like there is an animation on each fade, which makes the picture turn white and then show the next one…. This animation takes way to long, I would be frustrated when I am on a homepage like this. I already reduced the animation time to 10 or 200 ms but still no change…. is there an option that I am missing? Why are the free galleriey plugins faster?
Animation time setting in JIG affects the animations that occur by JIG (and that’s not the lightbox). What you are experiencing is probably prettyPhoto lightbox. Choose the more performant Magnific Popup or PhotoSwipe lightbox on the Lightboxes tab.
Presale question: is it possible to add WooCommerce filters into a left sidebar?
You can move the filtering buttons that appear here with Custom JS to anywhere else, but it’s not an out of the box feature. https://justifiedgrid.com/sources/wordpress/custom-post-types/
The plugin is giving me an error when I update it telling me the plugin is in use on another site that I no longer have access to. Can you reset my license? Username is “CatalystAdv”. Thank you! Sam
Your license is now released from the previously bound host. https://justifiedgrid.com/support/faq/your-license-has-been-reset-what-does-it-mean/
Couple of questions 1. Will Justified Image Grid plugin work with divi theme ( elegant themes) 2. Will it work with photo images where some are portrait and some are landscape – need all images to show without cropping – which they don’t on the divi grid module – see http://roberthardyartist.com/drawings/
Yes JIG willl create a nicer gallery for you. It works with Divi in a way that there is no official Divi module, but it can automatically taking over standard WP galleries. Also, using a shortcode you generate on a page with a Divi-less editor is a possibility. Auto take over will not act on divi grid module.
Hi,
On my site users can vote posts (with featured images). Posts then have a WP rating. My rating plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-postratings/) can display highest rated posts in a widget, but it does not look well. I am using JIG to display ‘recent posts’ galleries of featured images and it looks great. My question is: can JIG be used to make a gallery of highest rated posts? Or make in any way use of the results given by wp-postratings? I found the galleries can be sorted by order of date or title, but how about ratings?
I could consider also using this rating plugin: https://plugins.dev4press.com/gd-rating-system/ His author wrote: “Plugin uses templates to render rating blocks and lists, so it can be customized to show all sorts of things. It also has shortcodes, widgets for everything, and it has functions that can render rating blocks and return just rating values.” But there is the same question: could the ratings be used to build a JIG gallery page?
regards
Piotr
You can do so with a template tag. JIG can’t know what custom meta each rating plugin uses and set up a query for them. But it can accept a comma separated list of IDs, in PHP. If those plugins can give it a list of images or posts to show, and in what order, it’ll work.
This requires some PHP editing though. The base template tag you can generate from the Shortcode Editor.
I want user on my website can save/download photo.
1. I am using download_link=yes in short-code but I am getting this error after clicking download-link of photo.
No webpage was found for the web address:
....../wp-content/plugins/justified-image-grid/download.php?file=https%3A%2F%2Ffarm2.staticflickr.com%2F1954%2F44575170485_d3622aba55_b.jpg
2. I tried using this [justified_image_grid mouse_disable=no ......] It is also not working.
What is the link to the page this happens on? Do your thumbnails work? Perhaps php files are blocked by htaccess on your server, preventing the downloader from working.
Setting mouse disable to no, doesn’t immediately facilitate downloading photos. Some lightboxes cover the picture anyway with their arrow overlays.
This is the page—http://wordpress-180957-528864.cloudwaysapps.com/spots-of-special-interest-within-vidyapith/#!
Can you tell me the short-code or setting to facilitate users to download images from photo album displayed using JIG.
Please send a mail from our profile, we’ll need to log in with temporary wp-admin access and check it out.
