The plugin doesn’t have this feature, it will start the auto scroll as soon as it’s loaded by default. You’ll need to add some custom javascript to the page to start the scroll only when the slider is visible.

I wrote some code that might work, seems to work on my tests, but didn’t perform heavy tests. Try adding this to the custom JS field in the settings: https://gist.github.com/carmoreira/3088210c5ab3358d9a06f48c6152a51b

Hi! Thank you for using the plugin. This would depend mostly on the theme. Does the theme allow you to add content after the testimonials? You would just need to add the shortcode there. The theme could also make the footer widget render shortcodes. What theme are you using? Are you able to contact the theme authors? The alternative would be to edit the theme files directly (or use a child theme), but that’s usually a bad idea and might be more complicated. Unfortunately there’s not much I can do on my side, since the theme controls what areas you can edit.

Okay, thank you. Unfortunately, it’s a custom theme and I have no idea who made it. I’ve only just joined the company a week ago and no one else around here knows.

I have managed to add it manually onto pages just putting in the post content. This leaves just the homepage that I can’t figure out (because it’s got some stuff going on that I don’t know how to work with).

If it’s a custom theme that won’t be updated, you can edit the theme files directly, but be careful doing it, specially if you don’t understand how WordPress themes work. My advice would be to check the theme files and look for the homepage code and try to work from there. But again, if you don’t feel comfortable with this, it’s better to ask a developer. Unfortunately this is outside the plugin support scope, so I can’t help much, but I can take a look into your administration area to give you some pointers. Hi! You can safely delete the version you have and install the latest version, you won’t loose your settings. About the links not working, it might be related with a recent browser update, which makes it more tricky to add events to elements inside scrollable elements (the carousel in this case). I’m not able to replicate the issue, I tried with WP 5.1 and even the WP 5.2 beta with PHP 7.2. It might be another plugin that you have installed that might be interfeering with the saving process for the Logos.

Can you write me using the ‘contact author’ option in the support tab, sharing the list of plugins you have installed? Do you have access to your PHP error log? Usually you can check it in your hosting control panel. That would also be very helpful.

Hi. The logo slider works great on Chome and Firefox. But it makes the logo slider dissapear on safari browser which is a big big issue….

Hi! Sorry for the late reply. When you upload the image, a thumbnail will be created using the size you have in the settings (default is 200×200). There’s also an option to create a retina version. The layouts will then try to use that thumbnail and in some cases it might resize it down (in the responsive grid layouts for example). So there’s an optimized image created and then the plugin tries to use the best. Hope it makes sense. If you come across any issue or have any other question let me know. Greetings, Carlos

Can I get a refund? It breaks my page. The whole page loads more slowly and scrolling up and down is laggy because of this plugin.

Latest available version for download includes a ‘List’ layout option. Still can be improved, but seems to be working well in most cases.

Hi! Thank you for using the plugin. Usually white screens mean there’s a PHP error. The plugin should work well with WP4.9.8 so there’s something strange going on. If you’re on MAMP you can check your PHP error logs (usually inside the MAMP/logs folder). There should be information why the white screens happen.

To order the logos, you can use the ‘order’ field of each entry. To bulk edit these values you can drag&drop the logos in the administration archive page of the logos.

Hi! Most likely the images are bigger than what they need to be. Using CSS sprites won’t be possible on Logos Showcase and I don’t think it’s a good solution, CSS sprites technique is a bit obsolete in my opinion. What you can do to optimize the images is to set the real size of the images in the plugin settings and then regenerate the thumbnails, either using a plugin or re-uploading the images. Thanks for the quick response. I was using the do_shortcode which seems to work fine. I just kept seeing the mention of the php code in the generator that wasn’t currently present, and wasn’t sure if that was the best or most direct way to implement this plugin.

Yes, I removed it from the generator, since not many people needed it and it was taking valuable screen space for the preview. Might re-add it at the bottom of the page, after the preview in a future update. Sorry for the confusion. cheers, Carlos
